Es hermoso este final.. esta melodia , te llena de paz y armonia... da la sensacion de que se respiran aires de cambios y que el mal se ah ido para siempre de nuestras vidas
This music is one of the best I have heard, I remember the day I showed my mother how the megaman X3 game happened to me and I listen to that music and the first thing that happened was, my mother cried when I heard that beautiful melody , super NINTENDO forever. GREETINGS FROM PERU.
At the end of Mega Man X3, the text says: "To save mankind, [X] must destroy Zero". This came to pass in Mega Man X5, with a duel between the two of them in Sigma's lair in Zero Space, though it was not actually X who destroyed Zero, but rather Sigma. It should be noted, however, that the Japanese version of the line above never mentions anything about destroying Zero, just that he has to fight him. ( megaman.fandom.com/wiki/Mega_Man_X3 )
"To save mankind, he must destroy Zero" Oh god, I remember feeling my heart just drop as a flash of numbness and shock went though me as I read that line as a child. It disappoints me to no end that Capcom wastes such a good story both by going against the wishes of it's creator and then, after milking it for extra games/cash like cattle and then just tossing it aside. This is not to say I didn't enjoy the X games past X5, and I love the dynamic Axl brings to the games, but even still...
I would LOVE to see how the Zero series would have been had they not messed with the orignal concept, where Zero truely died in X5 and X went truely maverick
2 things here NiborDeathridge: 1. Give yourself a pat on the back for this reason. My heart never sank as a child reading that line of text in the ending to X3, reason being, X3 was too hard for me as a kid. I beat X and X2 and all 8 from the classic series, but I never made it out of sigma stage 1 in X3. Had to beat it recently via emulator as a grown up. X3 is a hard ass game. (Made even harder if you never owned an SNES or PS1 lol) 2. I don't recall that X was to truly go Maverick. In X's ending to X5, whether its the good or the bad ending, he is still on the side of the reploids, still one of the good guys hoping for peace. I know the ending to X4 alluded to him worrying about going Maverick one day, and if you play as Zero in X5, you fight a Maverick version of X, but I did not think that was canon. Did I miss something?
I don't know how true this is, but I heard that the original Japanese stated that X had to fight Zero, although not necessarily destroy him. If that's the case, then I suppose the line about "destroying Zero" in X3's ending was a Woolseyism.
In spite of all the grim and darkness of the world of X, that staff roll theme is just one of the happiest, sweetest tunes in any game I've ever played. Not even sure why it's there but it's awesome and it speaks to my inner child.
I knew that I wasn't the only one hearing that after all of these years listening to it. I guess that's also why this is my favorite mmx staff roll next to both x5 and x6.
now i get it. its called wall cancer beacuse its those blue crab things that crawl on the walls and shoot at you, they're called cancer beacuse they are crabs and that's the cancer constelation... it really doesn't sound good though xD
Is it just me or does it make it to where you have to turn off the console when you reach the "thanks for playing" screen in this game? Because it keeps playing the music and doesn't return to the title screen at all.
FF IV-VI are the most touching of these screens cause of the Stanfield being shown as the prelude plays. You've seen so many emotional moments through their stories, so I feel they put you on that screen to reflect.
For the third time in the series, X ponders why must reploids and humans fight one another, and why reploids continue fight each other, and with a heavy heart, X came to one conclusion to save all of mankind and reploids from this continued cycle of violence. X must kill Zero. Oh. Ok, out of left field there, X. But hey, if the only way for Reploids to stop fighting each other is to.... fight with your best friend and kill him, something I'm pretty sure you aren't ok with, sure. Ok. Why not?
Funny you mention this, I still wonder why in the epilogue, capcom write that in order for x to save the world , he must destroy zero, excuse me ? Maybe they weren't sure of the direction of the series at this point but still one of the greatest titles and dear lord, Kaiser sigma is a one soab to beat !! 🎉❤😊
That’s the beauty of the SNES. If you play all the Fire Emblem games 1-6 you’ll notice the characters never blink when they are converse with each other and it looks really weird seeing them not blink or not having barely any emotion. It adds a layer of depth to the characters. Heck Final Fantasy games on the SNES had the characters show emotion and the music made it even better to connect with them.
My mom and I love this song! This game was one of my best gifts as a child! As long as my X-Buster keeps rocking in my hand! Thanks Capcom!

a worthy sendoff to the SNES...
"To save mankind, he must destroy Zero"
It happened in X5, just that X didn't really destroyed him. He just battled him.
it was a translation error
This was 90’s clickbait
