Here's the link to the IndieGogo campaign: www.indiegogo.com/projects/phenyx-pro-ptau-2-trusted-wireless-mic-to-excel--2#/ and congrats to the winner: @tbelgan4348 Also, if you do want to get this and put it in a rack, you can get the rack mount kit for 30% off as an "Add On" when you purchase on IndieGogo. Remember, do not have the antennas buried in the back of a rack. That's a common mistake I see. Thanks for watching everyone! And remember.... I will NEVER ask you for money. Period.
Do you know how many of these I could use on stage at once? I am looking to use these at my church, and wondering if I could use 3 (6mics) for my band. Usually 4-5 at once singing, and one used for announcements at a different time. Thoughts?
Last Saturday we had a gig and I said to myself: I am getting too many influences from this RUclipsr guy Scott Uhl: wireless guitar system, wireless IEM, wireless bluetooth pedal for scrolling pages on my iPad song app, wireless adapter for my microphone, looking at the music site to buy a digital mixer, o God, and he likes an Oreo milkshake too!!!
Hey Scott, thanks for the video. I just bought the PTU-2U dual mic system and a PTM-10 wireless IEM system. Had I known about this product, I might have held out a bit longer. For other Canadian customers, the experience with PhenyxPro was pretty seamless and they use Canada Postal service for delivery so you don't get dinged with brokerage fees for your US gear (or Oreo milkshakes)! The gear came promptly and is working very well. One question I have for you is how you determine the best frequency for the PTM-10 (as it doesn't have a scan feature). I have an existing Shure PSM300 IEM system, so I am trying to create profiles for the Phenyx gear for use with Shure wireless workbench to coordinate the frequencies. If any of your other subscribers have done this, I am all ears!!
This channel should be at 1mil subs atleast. The content is soooo well put together, very smooth editing, great audio, super informative, straight to the point, info backed with proof and tests. Thank you sir for sharing your experience with different products, which makes our desicion making on audio gear much easier. 🙏
This is going to sound so dramatic but... I am so grateful to have stumbled upon your channel! Your reviews/videos are unparalleled and I have learned so much. I worked for several organizations and we have purchased multiple Phenyx Pro wireless lavs and handheld mics. Everyone that I have recommend them to has loved them! Thank you Scott!
This would be a great upgrade to the rockville system my band's currently using. An Oreo Milkshake would also be a nice little treat to celebrate that upgrade.
I'm a mobile DJ and already own the Phenyx PTU-1U-1H and I love it as much as I love a good Oreo Milkshake!! I would love to get the new PTAU2 since we are in need of a system that has 2 microphones. Thank you for the awesome review Scott!
Just received this system today, Rock solid system. Oddly works better than my new $1200 QLDX system. I'm glad I saw your video a month ago as this thing was dirt cheap to buy.
A thing me and my bandmates usually do whenever going on some far gigs (we are located in the LA county Area, Far meaning like NorCal), is stopping at a Denny's restaurant. We will literally stop for French fries and milkshakes specifically Oreo Milkshakes! Thanks 4 your review and tutorial videos Scott !!
Great video man😊 Thanks for this I'm convinced, I'm planning to buy this microphone for our church and thanks a lot for the great help. Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄
I purchased a Phenyx Pro system in the past but it had quite a bit of noise that was audible even while singing through the mic. Hopefully they have fixed the issue with this system. Awesome video as always. Time to go grab an Oreo Milkshake.
Wow! What a great system. Excellent, detailed review Scott. I've been reluctant to go to wireless for vocals as I thought I'd have to spend too much to get reliability; this system seems to be the perfect balance of quality and price. Thanks for showcasing this product. Oreo milkshake!
This is a really cool new setup! Loving the PTM-33 IEM unit, and my PTU-7000 is getting a little use but not often needing more than 2 so this looks like an upgrade option for the channels I actually need. Just finished lunch and time for an Oreo Milkshake ! Cheers!
Always love your videos. They are so informative. This system is so easy to use, I can finish setting up and still have time to treat myself to an Oreo Milkshake. Thanks , Scott
Thanks for another great breakdown Scott! I got the Phenyx Pro Wireless In Ears after watching your breakdown on it and am loving it! This looks like great unit. Oreo Milkshake
What a great sounding system. The range is unbelievable for that kind of price point. I guess you can have your oreo milkshake cake and eat it too. Keep up the excellent work Scott. Thank you
Oreo Milkshake sounds great to beat this 100+ temps in DFW. I got the PTAU-2 system to test and I love it. I did the ID Lock using the PTU-2 and a Sennheiser system. Both Phenyx Pro unit rejected same frequency mics although the PTU-2 did cutout from the interference. The Sennheiser receiver was slammed by the interference giving static versus usable sound. The PTAU-2 kept performing without any interference issues. The mics are slimmer and the display is clear. I appreciate the jog wheel - easier to use then the buttons. Thanks for the very detailed review.
Do you mind sharing what clean frequency you are able to use on the PTU-2 in DFW? I couldn't find a clean signal to use in the range that the PTU-2 uses.
@@hiphop360 I installed 3 Phenyx Pro systems in our activity center. A PTU-71 set at 542.070 and 583.370; a PTU-1U set at 559.775 and the PTAU-2 at 519.250 and 554.500. No issues with outside interference.
@@hiphop360 Yes, now it was hooked up to an antenna distribution system, which might have helped. The rack it is in is too low for line of sight, unobstructed receiving.
I live for your "little needy tests" lately haha. They have so much critical info. Phenyx pro has really started to create a great brand. Thank you! I await my Oreo Milkshake now. 🎉
As a gig'n DJ, you always come thru with on point gear. I saw this and was thinking if I needed to pull the trigger. You sold me like a Oreo Milkshake.
I'd love to add this Oreo milkshake to my setup! I just got the 8 mic PTU for my church and now I need one for duo band! I love the features on this this compared to its predecessor.
I’ve been looking for a great affordable wireless mic system to put in my band rack. This one looks and sounds like it fits the bill price and feature wise! The spectrum analyzer is AWESOME! I have a Sennheiser G4 IEM unit and hate that I can’t get that feature to work in wireless system manager. This one would solve that problem 😀. Orea milkshakes are one of my favorites during the 95+ summer heat months! 🤘🏻
I can't believe that an Oreo Milkshake has this many features included at the price it is offered at! The scan feature is worth the price alone. Excellent gear!
Hey Scott. I'm a big proponent of the Phenyx Pro products and I always look forward to you reviewing their latest and greatest. Now I'm off to have my Oreo Milkshake! Thanks again!
Great review Scott! This company puts out a lot of great stuff, all while trying to be the solution for musicians on a budget. It's nice to see a company finally come in to fill that gap in the market. Oreo Milkshake!
I think the delay is actually just the way sound travels more than rf delay. Like when you see someone drop something a block away but you dont hear the noise untill the sound travels to you a few ms later
This unit is going to be my second one purchasing from Phenyx and afterwords I won’t have any money left for an Oreo Milkshake and it’s all because of you! 😊 Thanks for another great review, I didn’t know how little I knew about this stuff until I started following your channel. Hope I win one but really wish good luck to everyone entering the draw. Keep playing!
Another great wireless review! The amount of times I have to talk myself out of another purchase. Gotta save my money for an Oreo Milkshake. Thanks Scott
As always it was a great video with great information. I love the idea of fewer cables and watching your channel has gotten me started on my way. An Oreo Milkshake is free for all who come to my next gig!! JK, not really!
Scott love your videos! I look forward each week on what you are posting. Would love to see more video clips of your live setup and performances at shows. Oreo Milkshake
I could really use this one. We are a cover band who went to IEM because of your channel, and only two vocalists. Seems like we could get even more cables off the floor and speedier setup with this one. Drummer will still need his Oreo milkshakes to keep him happy though.
Thanks for the great review and for diving into the setup process and all the features. I could definitely use this mic system on my band gigs or for playing at church. Just hope that my son doesn't spill his Oreo milkshake on it!
Great content as always! I've been using PTU-1U and PTU-2U systems for a year now and they are great, except for the plosives rejection. This system seem to improve on it. Also, Oreo Milkshake. 😁
Our Phenyx pro PTM 33 has been working great (especially after I rewatched your review and fixed the dropouts). Can't wait to try some of their mics! Thanks for all you do Scott! Oreo Milkshake
I bought a phenyx pro IEM after watching your review of it! Great product and great review here! Off to Mcd’s for an Oreo Milkshake 🤞the machine is working! 😂

@ it all depends on the wireless RF environment on where you are playing. My guess is it would be ok, but it always depends

more great wireless options and this is an awesome price point with tons of features... incredible!
