I think I am FINALLY going to finish the mini Bare Minerals bronzer that I've been working on for two years. There's just the tiniest bit around the edges. I still want to try to finish stuff next year, but I also want to rotate through all of my eye products to see what I love and what I can declutter. I would gladly trade you some of our chilly Ohio weather for some of your Perth heat so we could both be comfortable.
Hailey, you are so delightful on a rant, I don't mind! My panning, well I got through 3 lipsticks this year, 2 lip glosses, 2 perfumes, still 2 cm left to go on a Laura Mercier Caviar eye stick. Otherwise, I am weather-shifting from summer to winter face products, taking stock of what I want to use. Seasonal is really the best panning for me because I am oily in summer and dry in winter.
Also, I used to spray the outside wall of the house that gets the afternoon sun with the hose to try and stop that wall from getting so hot, helps a bit. Maybe need to do it a few times on Super hot days, but if it's a bedroom then you don't want heat radiating off the wall
I just finished my farmacy strawberry shortcake cleansing balm and I am so so sad about it. I am telling myself that I have to use all mini make up removers before I can go and get a new tub. Here is to hoping I can get through them all.
Must be horrible filming in the heat 🥵 my project this year is ‘100 items lighter’ includes makeup, skincare, perfume, nail polishes. I’ve panned/ decluttered 126 items and bought 43, so I’m lighter by 83 items which means in December I’ve got 17 items left to reach my goal 😅 great vid Hailey ❤😊
I felt for you in that heat, trying to do stuff when it’s hot and your sweating is hard. My first summer in Qld was murder, I thought I knew heat but the humidity was a killer. It’s easier not to wear makeup in the heat. You will acclimatise and your skincare and makeup preferences will change. I find most “heat proof’ makeup routines on RUclips useless because they done by women living in cold climates who think 25c and 25% humidity is hot. Most make up, especially base products are made for cooler climates and don’t adapt to heat and sweating. When it’s that hot, I find very lightweight coverage and cream products on the eyes work best, that’s if I could be bothered.
I've just had a shitty week like that myself, I get it, and thank goodness it's finally cooled down because that last week was almost having me panic about Summer
Hope it cools a bit for you soon. I have been opening something and using it till it’s gone but am contemplating doing a project in the new year so I can use other things too :0) xx
Why not put your perfume with your cleaning supplies so when you go to clean use it then or near your candles and with the body oil I do mine in the shower at least on my arms when they are slightly damp and I don’t get cold then creams and same with the
There's nothing quite like that heat where you walk outside at 8am and you can see the air wavering above the pavement that's already so hot you can fry an egg on it.
Or when you touch an inside wall on a double brick house and it’s warm, or when you step on outside decking with bare feet thinking it’ll be ok but you still burn your feet 😂 good times
I can't believe it's almost the end of 2023 when it still doesn't feel like it's even allowed to be 2023 yet!
If it’s hot could you pop one of those face mists in the fridge door? Have a little cool spritz every time you go for a cold drink
We got 40°C this summer with like 70% of humidity most days... the 'it's hot for this sh*t!!!'mood is real XD

I skip foundation during summer here! The heat is AWFUL

Well done! Look. The heat makes my brain melt and me as a whole cranky. I get it. Hope you can get comfy soon!

Honestly, rage chat away. We all have those days and weeks 😊

Getting the sprayer off can be annoying but I use up some perfumes in old reed diffuser bottles

I’ll keep rolling, also I just changed some of the products because of the season, so it is newly refreshed
November has been wtf month for me, for sure. Thankfully, it is nearly over.

@@HaileyO Honestly as a Canadian I have to say between the brutal winters and the scorching summers we are getting the short end of both sticks 😂
Those 40 degree days are just something else aren't they 🙈 thankfully it's cooled down a bit again.
Yeah it’s rough! We had weather like that in Melbourne sometimes too but it’s so still and dry here, it feels worse lol
❤️✌️
