I think for Mage, Rommath is a really strong card, but I believe that ETC allowing you to get a guaranteed Potion of Illusion, without the condition of Sivara, really brings it to another level. Edit: Oh yeah, my favourite Legendary is Naielle too. I don’t even play Hunter, but god darn, that may just make me play the class.
24:25 hey i thought that was a good joke For those that dont get it, chinese pinyin is basically the alphabet for chinese characters and it also sounds like pinging Oh also if shadow of demise was somehow a neutral card, it would literally be run in every deck. Patches is only "better" because its neutral and shadow of demise is class locked
I'm not sure I agree with the notion of including the cards which aren't out yet. They may look strong, but we often make mistakes with such predictions. Besides, even if the cards are good, there's always a risk of them being stuck in a class which doesn't get to make any viable deck despite technically having those cards (in this case it's kinda hard to justify card as "strong" even though it's technically is. But not strong to save the class, alas). P.S. For the purposes of the giveaway, I love Control Warrior. But not the modern varitation with Odyn or/and TNT, I prefer it circa doomsday project when it felt less toxic and didn't do things like randomly smacking opponent in the face for unvingtillions of damage (or just destroying his whole deck and hand without letting him play the game)
You do make a good point. But to be fair, we're just over a week away from the expansion launch, so not including any content related to it would be a miss. Especially when we just had the pre-release event where we saw semi-realistic gameplay, as well as the tavern brawl coming very soon, so it wouldn't be a good thing for HS content creation. At least as far as Flare's perspective goes with being the one to put in the effort to make the content and still be able to get views and engagement. But you are right that this video and the opinions in it could easily change in a month or two's time.
@@AzraelRuin Well,to be honest he makes a lot of content about the upcoming expansion already with all these cards reviews. And if some card looks really all that promising, due to how little time remains for the expansion release as you yourself pointed out,it shouldn't be a big problem to make videos which don't have much to do with new cards and somehow explore the old expansions, mechanics, decks, etc. And release a video like this after the expansion releases and the dust settles. Not only would it make his point way clearer, but also it can potentially include more strong legendaries which didn't appear that way at first Btw if we really want to milk this bad boy while it still takes clicks, making entire videos about predictions for upcoming expansion (as opposed to just reviewing cards) looks way more on point for this purpose anyway
I know you didnt like the pirate aggro opener, but I gotta say I respect you for aknowledging what it was doing for the meta by punishing durdle decks like Dungar.
Great video and i agree with all the classes, i am however surprised with priest that the priestess legendary from sunken city wasnt on there as that card has really been a staple in countless iterations of combo priest decks in both standard and wild ever since its introduction
I think there are some decks that wouldn't like Shadow. I mean, I remember some decks that had like 28 minions. Ain't no way you put that in for 2 spells.
True, but you would likely include more spells if your class had access to Shadow of Demise to use. And modern HS has spells that are at least viable options in every deck most of the time, so it would pretty easy to slot a few spells in when you have a pay-off and synergy card like Shadow available to you.
i really suggest you divide yoyr video with time stamps for each class, i dont think this will take any extra time to edit, but it will help a lot. good video ss always
Im somewhat confused by this list. sometimes it seems to specifically talk about the state of the game in the present, but sometimes it just talks about decks that are clearly in the past - like demon seed warlock is not a top deck in wild right now, and frankly has never really been since the 10/10/10 nerf. It was insane as darkglare warlock in its prime but that deck no longer exists so why is it on the list sometimes the video also specifically says "these were great in the past" and then later says "i would have included x cause it was great in the past but its bad now so i didnt"
Exarch Naielle is a balanced card, because Hunters need to now run and play a one of Spider Tank in their deck /j Tracking as a HP has to be one of the strongest hero power we’ve seen in standard in a while. Yes, a druid HP can get up to +5 Armor and +5 attack this turn, but it costs 2 mana and requires 4 cards to be drawn, played and die. It’s quite the settup compared to SPIDER TANK.
27:28 iirc Reno priest runs practically no spells so it can get full value off of Magatha. Although I might just be thinking of standard, idk fuck reno
I feel like I'm missing something with Exarch Maladaar. He reminds me a lot of the original Cho'gall, where the base cost of the minion is so high that any discount you get from it doesn't really change anything. If Maladaar was 4 mana for sure it'd be crazy strong, but 6 feels late enough that everyone is getting to cheat mana. Kael'thas was strong at 6 mana, but that was because you could chain multiple high cost cards together.
It’s more comparable to the 6 mana 5/5 Paladin minion that “made the next Paladin card you played this turn cost Health instead of Mana”, and that was an epic that was only run one of since that’s all you needed. Having it be based on Corpses and be “any card” makes it extremely flexible to what you want. Defs will see play.
Cho'gall doesn't have as much flexibility as Maladaar since it needs setup to discard the exact card you want, which combined with its own high costs is just not worth building a serious deck over with Maladaar, you just need to have the corpse amount and the card you want in hand (both natural things that will happen when playing)
I feel like it would be if Cho'gall still made you 'take damage' and counted for pain lock stuff. Its somewhat of mana cheat and enables corpse sinergy. Im not entirelly sold yet, but I can see rainbown using it.
With DK having access to cards like Mining Casualties, You're gonna have 10 corpses by turn 6 most of the time if that's what you want to do. So it lets you play any card in your entire deck list for free (outside of The Ceaseless Expanse), since corpses are an additional resource that aren't available to most classes to actually utilise. Gaining corpses is currently such a tempo positive thing that you are doing anyway with your strong DK cards, so it's extremely efficient to make use of that resource which has practically no downside and isn't hard to build around. 6 mana 5/5 "Battlecry: the next card you play this turn costs 0", is a pretty great card that you are able to play on curve in a lot of situations.
He's not a good card anymore. Flare said he's not using historical periods and only talking about current cards. If we did a historical video, then Tarim would definitely be up there.
No Aman'Thul? I find it an absolutely disgusting card especially when copied. I've tended to play Zarimi Priest for almost whole 2024, and it is copying Aman'Thul that wrecks opposing decks rather than Zarimi.
There’s a 50/50 chance every video that Flare either has an aneurysm or he nuts his pants when he gets to hunter 👑👑
Man baby
I understand I heckin love hunter
Guys we can sit here and fight over who is truly the best druid legendary or we can all just agree it's duskfallen avianna and call it a day
The best druid legendary is Malfurion
She's the first legendary I ever unpacked 🔥
I dedicate more of my routine to Flare's powerpoints than to my future financial status.
Bloulderfist Ogre, the best legendary you can put 2 copies of into your deck.
My man is down bad for Naielle, even if he can't pronounce her name 😂
Flare coming at us with the deep lore that the quest only goes in questline demon hunter
The Ping Pong joke was genius. Kinda "what the fuck, bro" joke, but still genius.
Guys, as the warlock main, I think I'm getting really tired of just playing demon seed
Fav card gotta be yrel cuz librams are awesome
Can’t wait to actually draw with hunter. Love this card so much
39:25 Damn, now hunter is also an armor class
Can't blame him. Hunter class is in his veins.
24:25 hey i thought that was a good joke
For those that dont get it, chinese pinyin is basically the alphabet for chinese characters

Mind render illucia was the best priest legendary. She had no flaws
Yup. She was busted.
Crazt how many insane legendaries shaman has gotten, and the fact that many of them synergize is crazy
Helya does feel like a busted DK legendary. It’s the whole reason they changed how Badlands highlander cards work.
I know you didnt like the pirate aggro opener, but I gotta say I respect you for aknowledging what it was doing for the meta by punishing durdle decks like Dungar.
Yrel, Beacon of Hope is my favorite legendary of the expansion. Pretty excited to see Librams being back.
Exarch Naielle is going to be a staple in hunter decks until it rotates. 1-mana discover a card in your deck is incredibly good for any class.
HOLD ALL MY CALLS DOLORES, ITS POWERPOINT TIME! 🎉
I'm hyped up for Velen and what combos he can provide
Can’t wait to try the Death Knight legendaries
Great video and i agree with all the classes, i am however surprised with priest that the priestess legendary from sunken city wasnt on there as that card has really been a staple in countless iterations of combo priest decks in both standard and wild ever since its introduction
the 1 mana 1/1 refresh mana equal to spells played is not good in wild in the slightest
I think my favorite card from the upcoming expansion has to be the exodus simply because I think it will carry the mechanic of starships on its back
New Akama seems pretty cool, love your content btw

Exited to make the 8 hands work with kil'jaeden (and maybe helya)
Lynessa + Librams Flare. You heard me
I don't think the tracking hero power gives you copies of a card?
i really suggest you divide yoyr video with time stamps for each class, i dont think this will take any extra time to edit, but it will help a lot. good video ss always
Imagine a world where druid could Shadow of Demise pre-nerf innervate on turn 1
My favorite card is shudderblock, I love repeating battlecry AND I LOVE comboing with battlecry
my fav card for now is Kil'jaeden, looks fun.
neutral legendaries mod check

Excited for Librams again, so I’ll say new Yrel

Yeah. She will be pretty powerful overall. Which is a great thing seeing as how terrible Hunter's card have been in recent times.
Exarch nigh-EL
I want to play librams so bad
27:28 iirc Reno priest runs practically no spells so it can get full value off of Magatha. Although I might just be thinking of standard, idk fuck reno
Prep for Prep??????
Fucking love flares energy
Hostile Invader crazy warrior common
The best legendary for pal is not a class legendary and is currently being banned now. I will go for 100 damage in turn 5.
I like yo play reno decks from everyclass in Wild , Hi from Spain and good luck for all in the give away.😊
fav card definitelly naielle
Nai-L

makadaar could go well in excavate dk
Where's my boy Sunkeeper Tarim?
He's not a good card anymore. Flare said he's not using historical periods and only talking about current cards. If we did a historical video, then Tarim would definitely be up there.
@@AzraelRuin Damn he was such a fun card (i don't play wild much)
Its not the most powerful but my favourite will always be volatile skeleton kel thuzad
No neutrals? Seperate video? You could add class between best and legendaries in the title for it to be more accurate.
I stg if you don’t say shudderwock, or grumble, or Bolner, or ofc The Lurker Below…
Oh hell yeah 2/4!
Your vidéo are cool and funny . My favorite card is Velen and Yrel
This was unironically the most racist Hearthstone video I've ever seen
Sing Along Buddy is the best legendary
Patches the Pirate is the best legendary imo.
bring back pure paladin!
i have a feeling this expansion will be a clown fiesta of combos. oh well
