The travails of the 4400 people who all at once returned in a ball of light to Earth; though the returnees had not aged physically, many of them reappeared with dramatic abilities ranging from enhanced reflexes to precognition. NTAC (National Threat Assessment Command) is the government agency responsible for keeping track of the returnees and investigating all things related to the 4400.

Why would Lily's ex-husband be such a dick to her? That just doesn't make sense. And why would Kyle be so hesitant to heal his cousin who's in a coma? These characters are written like sensless idiots as sloppy plot devices to create dramatic conflict where there shouldn't be any.
This show looks like it's chock-full of dumb, lazy writing.
