Tommy Bolin replaced Joe Walsh when he left James Gang, he replaced Richie Blackmore of Deep Purple too. He played somewhere with Jimi Hendrix who is quoted saying he is better than me. Teaser was his first album I bought it after seeing him play Wild Dogs with Deep Purple. His Over dose at 25 was sad he made a second solo album Private Eyes I have it too, but Teaser was one of the few albums that I liked every song. Tommy diedI was pleasantly surprised when listening to the Crue and Teaser came on high compliment to a great guitarist and singer few people ever heard of Except in Colorado were he started with a very popular band called Zephyr. Respected highly by Joe Bonamassa highly admired him and found has and plays his guitar the pick guard has an interesting story.

I can’t believe all of the people that didn’t know this was a cover. It first appeared in 1989 on the Make a Difference Foundation: Stairway to Heaven / Highway to Hell album which featured 80s rock artists covering songs by musicians/bands that lost a member to drugs and alcohol. Gorky Park covered My Generation; Ozzy covered Purple Haze; the Scorpions covered I Can’t Explain, etc. Then the Crüe included it on Decade of Decadence.
