I love the way Ollie is so charming and sweet, thanking the woman for having them in her palazzo, at least twice, in such a gentle and well-mannered way. I can see anyone would be incredibly lucky to have him in their lives. Friends and loved ones of Ollie, I envy you, such a wonderful gentleman you get to share time with. And his wife, should treat him like the Prince that he is. I will subscribe to his channel Magical Modernist Mansion. I watched it before, but am now convinced, I need me some Ollie to brighten things up.
Hi Linda, it’s Steph here. Ollie is wonderful, and I’m thankful every day for meeting him at university - through him I also met Nic and Michael, with whom I bought Lalande. My life would have been impossible without meeting Ollie and he’s been a rock in my life ever since. As someone who’s known him for so long, I can also add that Camilla is the best thing that’s ever happened to him, she’s loyal, capable and very fun!
My Grand Mother & Grand Father Was Italian my grandfather could not speak English came To England 🏴 Be For Second War. My Grand Father &Grand Mother Made Ice Cream 🍦 And A Shop. I Made Pasta and lots of Dishes Thankyou Stephane Ollie Thankyou Very Much Love The History And The Amazing 🥘💕👌
What a lovely lady! Would love to taste!
That was great!
What a gem Victoria is! She cooks with love in the most beautiful Italian way! You were so lucky to be invited to her amazing home while soaking in this unesco heritage city. Wow!
😍You should invite a couple of Italian “Nonnas” to come volunteer at the chateau!! 💖😋💖
I do enjoy this sort of ‘slow vlog’, like slow food, rather than being rushed through a superficial glance at a place.
It’s Steph here - it was Ollie’s idea to make ‘slow’ videos. His analogy was exactly that it should be like slow food! A balm in our fast paced world.
I am so hungry after watching all that food.❤
Fabulous Ollie Stephanie. Xx 😘
It's always a pleasure to travel with Ollie and Stephanie with their wealth of information, free-flowing commentary and of course the most impressive sights, be they the well-traveled tourist sites or the best of the off-the-beaten-path treasures. Although this cooking video with the amazing Vittoria makes me wonder how Italians have time for much else but shopping at the markets and making all those labor and time-intensive homemade pastas...but I'm always happy to sit down and enjoy a few healthy servings of fine Italian cuisine at a couple of my favorite local restaurants. Well, Stephanie and Ollie, it's the best job imaginable if you can get it, traveling, enjoying dining from casual to fine, discovering architectural masterpieces, art and sculpture. Why didn't I think of it as a smart career move years ago!
I'm hungry just watching.
VITTORIA, priceless as the UNESCO heritage sites! Thank you for sharing her
Wow, at times, the text just flies by at near hyper speed. Loved the very authentic Italian cooking lesson.
pause button is good for that
Delightful!
I am enthralled by this series of vlogs. The colours, shapes, shadows. The architecture, the paintings, the people. The commentary is perfect, not to light or to heavy, your interaction together makes perfect viewing. More and more please.
Julian clary comes to mind 😂in the pasta baking segment 🤣
Vittoria is a delight 🫶🍷🎉
Absolutely beautiful thank you Ollie and Stephanie once again see you both next time take care 💕🌼🤗
I'm going to Padua! I'll be there in October. 25 years ago I took an art history class and fell in love with the Scrovengi chapel. It's a life long dream of mine and a bucket list trip to go here. I can't wait. I'm so thrilled about this video. And I'm a Sagittarius too, aren't we the best?! Thank you!
I had an Italian aunt who used to make pasta every single day and it would hang up to dry in the kitchen. Her children have a well known Italian Restaurant in Scotland but I have never been and haven't seen them in almost 60 years, I only remember that the children were all dar haired and gorgeous.
Oh wow which Italian Restaurant if you don't mind me asking? I live in Scotland. And next month I'm visiting Italy for the first time, including Padua. Can't wait!
It is in Glasgow, don't remember the adress. My mum wasn't talking with that side of the family and I never wanted to uspet her by going myself, maybe one day. @@katyhowe8348
Another fabulous gem from the vault.
I’m glad that I can simply buy Italian pasta at my grocery store!
Wonderful visit to Padua!
I Absolutely Love exploring these Beautiful Cultural Places that I could only dream existed, but are beyond my imagination! Thank you, again and again, and again for sharing! ❤
Wonderful Padua. And only 25mins on the train from Venice!
What a beautiful place. It deserves two beautiful people to visit it.
Another beautiful city - the buildings you showed us rise with ethereal energy, and seem to be in a dream of their own in that golden Italian sunshine. One can just imagine the different centuries of activity that has carried on in their shadow. Love seeing it all. And Vittoria, what a lovely person, with those fabulous dishes flowing from her fingertips. My goodness. Thank you for another gorgeous travel.
Victoria is a gem 💎
Absolutely fantastic video.
😊
Mascarpone, LOVE it!! 🤩
I was getting peckish while you enjoyed your meal, but stuck to a delicious apple as it's just about bedtime. I'll probably dream about Tiramisu tonight !
It's great to see these vlogs...
Thank you so much for bringing to me a city that I have never heard of in my 53 years !!
Guess what I am now googling ! Just amazing with so much history and beauty to be seen.
My city was settled by Europeans only 156 years ago, so to see a city that has a university 800 years old is just mind blowing!
Thank you again from North Queensland, Australia. xxx
Universities, Banks, Capitalism are Italian inventions.
Padova is my hometown and it is just beautiful and I miss it so much! It is a hidden gem in the Veneto Region that offers so much... Love it that you like it!!! I always have to specify is near Venice... Live in Chicago now.

Hi Stephanie and Ollie, your vlog in Padua is just fabulous! So interesting and you are right about wanting to go back! I spent a year in Florence with 'old' family friends and just loved being able to visit the art galleries, museums and churches many times as you could not take in their beautiful contents on a first visit! Nick and I loved seeing your cookery class with the gorgeous Vittoria, all looked so delicious! Tiramisu is a family favourite and was wonderful seeing how she made it. Yes Ollie, the sponge fingers can get very soggy quickly! lol! We look forward to your vlog next week in Verona! Love and best wishes, Christina & Nick, Crediton, Devon UK😀🥰
I have to go to Padua now! I absolutely loved this video!❤️ Thank you xx

Such a gracious hostess Victoria❤ and the lovely food ❤
Tell me about France and double cream😭😭😭! As soon as I m flying to UK, I bring it back. If only British airways can guess what is in my luggage. A paradox, a french doing food shopping in london😂😂😂
What a wonderful show! I really enjoyed it. My husband and I have to go to Padua now! You both are doing a wonderful job! Xo
I think this was my favorite episode with all the cooking. Loved it! ❤🥰
I'm starting to regret not holidaying in Europe, rather than returning to the US so many times when I could still walk all day... there are so many wonderful cities to see around the world, try to see as many as you can while health allows. Thank you, for making it possible to see so many places, missed when young and agile!
Here in Sydney we have a company called Pastabilities! 🤣once in Surry Hills, I'd walk there at lunchtime...
For years they've made the most delicious fresh pasta, everything to cook at home, all types of pasta, even the sauces. Its take your pick, they make it all.
If you live in Sydney they are at Marrickville, plus they sell through other outlets... Another great video. ❤🦘
Must try it😮
Another spectacular video! Loved it, it had all the ingredients you want in a traveling program even pasta 🍝😄🙏🏾 I didn’t expect Philip to be there until I heard his give away giggle 🤭You didn’t have to tell us Stephanie, I knew! Thanks again till next time 🌏🗺️
Lovely images. The cathedral looks extraordinary. Thank you for the video!
What fun, thank you!!
Just lovely!
Thank you Stephanie, Ollie, and Phillip for such an interesting and joyful video❤️❤️❤️
Delightful video - thank you! ❤
Fabulous video...lOVED the food...
Thank you Stephanie and Ollie, this was so interesting. I'm really enjoying traveling with you!
Wow.. I go to Padova for work probably once every couple of months or so ,and embarrassingly, have never stepped foot inside the Palazzo della Ragione...!! so I must rectify that immediately! 😅 Also I just tried to book the experience with Vittoria on the website and sadly it doesn't seem to exist any longer..or maybe it isn't listed? Anyway, what a wonderful experience to have shared. Thanks for bringing us along :)
I never thought of visiting Padua but what a beautiful city! I love the botanical garden and lunch looked delicious.
That was so much fun, thanks, would love to visit one day!
Another fabulous video! Really enjoyed the cooking segment! And of course the sights and history absolutely wonderful!
Absolutely enjoyed this video. Well done you two.
I loved this episode, loved the cooking, & frescoes … I’m from Australia & spent barely any time in Italy (or anywhere in Europe) .. I did however make the effort to get to Assisi near Padua to where Saint Francis was born, & see the art work of Giotto .. he was such a master, love his work, it’s so beautiful .. the best of religious art (not that I’m religious, but interested in the history) ❤️
Thank you Ollie and Steph for another amazing video. As always it cheered me up as did last weeks video. I love your videos and it is one of my Tuesday highlights. X
Absolutely love your travels, you both make them so interesting 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻🥰🇬🇧
Love, love, love this vlog! So fun and informative! Thank you xx
That looked Delicious 😋 😍
Extremely interesting really enjoyed this 😊
Wow! I'm glad I'm Sagittarius like Ollie. The artwork in that building, at the beginning of your vlog is beautiful! With the food you two made in your guide's home looked amazing. The way you both described it made my mouth water. Thank you for doing these wonderful videos!!
Thank you for such informative fun vlog, I adore making pasta
Another wonderful adventure, thank you! I will be trying the speck & radicchio pasta :)
Love it❤, now I want to make pasta from scratch as well. So, my question now is, did you eat those two pasta dishes in two days?
We ate them in the same meal! And I had pasta every single other day that I was in Italy. Happy days 😋 (Steph)
Another amazing vlog. Beautiful places and beautiful filming. Thankyou 🤗
I was supposed to go to Padua in May but my husband did not feel well and it was raining so we stayed in Verona. Oh my what we missed. Thank you for showing me so beautifully what we missed. That cooking class was a hoot. I love your vlogs and Ollie is so much fun to be with. Looking forward to next weeks vlog.
Padova is my hometown and I miss it so so much!!!! I live in Chicago now!!!
Padua was one of my favorite places to visit on my trip to Italy years ago. Lovely to see it as it is now.
Craving some tiramisu now...
