In case you get the chance, the Philippines have different versions of Longanisa. If there's a possibility - I'd recommend the Vigan and Lucban versions (Vigan is at Ilocos, Lucban is at Quezon province)
Pancit is incomplete without Calamansi/Lime. I like the effort for just pausing everything you're doing and go grab a Lime in the fridge hhh.

We tend to use a spoon and fork to eat but the best tool for Filipino food is your hands, true Pinoy style of eating! I’m hungry now and it’s been so long since I’ve had longanisa so this has made the craving even more serious!

When you put the lime on longganisa I was like BAM she gets the concept!!! We normally dip it in vinegar that has fresh minced garlic/S&P! We out vinegar on tapa too!!! The sourness complements the meat!!!

Here in the philippines, if we want longganisa to taste something different, we make a vinegar sauce.
Ingredients: Vinegar , crushed garlic, onion(optional) and a pinch of salt. Thats the dipping sauce

Usually we eat tocino, tapa and longganisa with vinegar...or lemon and soy sauce...with Chili's....yummm
Here in the Philippines we usually dip the longganisa in vinegar sauce but lime also works because that is sour. Nice job!

My fave sausage longganisa too.❤️ There are a lot of flavors of longganisa.. The one that you eat is sweet longganisa but my fave is garlic longganisa with a little bit sweet and very flavorful. ☺️

the best dip for longganisa is vinegar+ a little bit of sugar+ lime+ pepper+ a pinch of salt+ chili pepper+ crushed garlic. you can dip anything in it, fried fish, tapa, longganisa, etc.

Longanisa is best with dips, like Vinegar and chop garlic; fresh tomato, fresh onion in soy sauce mix; or even soy sauce with calamansi and chili (siling labuyo).
The longganisa, tapa you can dip it with spicy vinigar.. Also try tocino dip it with vinigar aswell.. Also dinuguan

Hi Vannie, try mixing vinegar, lime, soy sauce and a piece of pepper chili then mix it. It's thd bdzt dipping sauce for any kind of filipino bbq and salty/savory meat.

Try having the longanisa and tapa with some spiced vinegar. If you can find fried lumpia, make sure to have some sweet chili sauce/ketchup/spiced vinegar dip.

Beef tapa and longganisa can be dipped in a vinegar based sauce with garlic, ground pepper and chillis 🌶️. Garlic rice is the go to combo for these two. Too bad it ran out.
