In your description narrative you didn't mention if you have to manually rotate each picture or is there a setting to auto rotate each picture without having to slide your finger to show each new picture?
The version you have has a white bezel, the one I ordered via Amazon doesn’t seem to have that. Upon researching, I’d found that there are many different iterations of the 10.1 inch model: Non-SD, Micro SD+USB Compatible, The style you have with the white bezels, etc. Many put this frame off because they believe doesn’t have micro sd option, but the company just doesn’t make it clear how many of the same size models exist out there.

Is there a way to allow friends to see photos uploaded to the frame by other friends?

No videos on how to transfer from computer. USB-c doesn't work alone with out power but manual doesn't explain😢
