If you're having a hard time starting, I like to adjust the valves to 0.004 on both the intake and exhaust, on most ohv Briggs.

GREAT video, Mr. Chud. If you had one of those galvanized tubs, you could cut it in half and make rear wheel fenders. Seein' your rims spinning in the tires made me realize - The Colonel could use an old propane tank turned into an air tank. And maybe a Jerry can of water in case you boys get stranded far from home. I had another idea you might like. You could weld a sprocket on one of the front wheels and a small attachment point with a starter motor. Then in places where you need extra traction, you could touch the spare starter button and have 3 wheel drive
I think poulan needs his fenders I got a set if you want em. And boy howdy was that lil 14.5 singing!!!

Put the fenders on it and make it the dulley dulley again with the back lifted like the front
Leave the poulan with no fenders but get small fenders thathe cover the mud from flynig to the driver
This reminds me to get my mower going to ride this March with my buddy RockyDa, adjust the valves also fenders from craftsman Lt1000s will definitely work chud!

It needs fenders
you need a cast iron heavy duty transmission for that the pulan is a nice machine you should look into an old cub cadet tractor those are tough as nails i dont abuse mine but man that things tough and a good twin motor will help too locking diffs lift kit on front and back articulated steering and man you have yourself quite a machine i just got an old simplicity 4211 with a briggs 11 hp motor gonna be my new offroader
i did the same thing to my mower just it is a troy built keep up the hard work

You should make your own fende
Good weight reduction did the same thing on my john deere 110 when I had a 5 hp on it. I got 8 hp now but still kept the fender pan off because it looks older/cooler

Ever think of 12 inch tires for the back they make a conversion kit for slid on to a four bolt pattern

@@chud327 its not the most piratical thing, but it would be easy to clean and never rust.
@@RockeyDAproductions Coat them with Rain-X and Armor All and Maybe the mud wouldn't stick...
The poulan deserves a locked rear end

Yah I really don’t like it with the front end lifted and not the rear but he did a rear lift too I just think he should make it level

Hey buddy I don’t no where you live but I live in Iowa & help out a kid that runs a small engine repair shop & he has over a 100 parts mowers I bet I can get what ever you need or want!!
BTW I think he lives in Florida but that's a lot of parts mowers I'm in Minnesota, I wish I lived closer I probably would come check them mowers out, I need some parts for my mower
only thing that would be better is if the poulan had a opposed twin briggs, a chrome exhaust on each side :):):):):)

But seriously why did the rim spin like that was it just low on air. Also why does the poulan struggle to start in the beginning-old battery or valves. It also kinda looks like a bear when it went in the ditch with the new used front tires. Also does your belt ever come off in the rear? Also I've watched the troy bilt videos at least 100 times by now😂.
The tires was just low on air. I may need to adjust the valves so it starts easier, may try that tomorrow. The battery does good in the other mowers. My belt does not come off enough for me to even remember it coming off. I love that you watch the troy vids so much, is it your favorite? Thanks for watching.
@@chud327 my favorite mower is problably either the troy with the gas pedal or the poulan. I was wondering about the pulley because me and my friends 3 in pulley somtimes throw the belt when you put the clutch in. I just got the same pulley you have so I'll see what that does.
poulan's my favorite. wish I had one I have A 90s snapper rear engine. no way will it ever be able to do that :)

That is the first time i have seen the rim,s spin in side the tire .if you can get that mower to do 23 miles per hour go back to the bigger tire,s how much would it cost me to have you make 2 mufler,s like the one,s on that mower i would like to have a set for my twin cylinder 18,5 hp briggs peace out chud 327 put some new fender,s back on her so the lady of the house doe,s not get 😠😠 when you get muddy
