HAHAHA! And there it is. 👏👏👏😂
There is actually a reason for this! The bottom two bass drums had ribbon crasher parts written while the rest did not. The top bass is so small that the ribbon crasher blocked the playing zone, so it had to be sideways to play. To make it more uniform, the top 4 turned their drums sideways while the bottom 2 held them upright to play the crashers. Hope this makes sense. We do everything for a reason here at CCBass!
Edit: I just realized we didn't use the crashers until the main lot which is why this explanation might not make sense lol.

practice every day everyone also it helps to keep a notebook of things you want to improve on like 3s, diddles, etc. but seriously practice every single day that's how you get better

@@dadecountydevonhapner a little disrespectful to his own corps wouldn’t you think? It’s finals lot you’d think he’d consider that they would benefit from him facilitating their ability to focus. “Overhyping” generally isn’t super helpful. He’s slightly out of place. I don’t dislike his commentary, but idk. Like he’s not wrong when he says stuff, but it’s just important to stay critical. The only commentary the line needs is from Dan; everyone knows at finals that the tech need not say much, because the line knows what he’d say anyways. He’s also paid to do it. They’re not paying Brian. Although, bringing a sort of NASCAR fan base to DCI sounds like a fun change I suppose.
