This was after their concept change. One member got married and moved to Canada. Another left to pursue acting. Sunmi returned to join Wonder Girls again. Hyerim joined. They each learned instruments for a year and came back as a band. However, it didn't last very long. They kind of disbanded and 3 of them are working as solo singers.
Yes! YeEun (now Ha:tfelt) is WG's main vocalist and she did a song feat Moonbyul so you might want to check that out. Her new solo songs are like art. I love her voice since the original Wondergirls (members changed like 2-3 times)
FINALLY Wonder Girls are LEGENDS. Their discography is filled with gems, title tracks and b-sides. These two videos are their final lineup. Sunmi and Yenny (Ha:felt, Yeeun) were from the original lineup, while Yubin came in after Hyuna left in 2007 and Hyerim (Lim) came in 2010 when Sunmi went on hiatus. They came back in 2015 with the band concept. Wonder Girls are iconic in Kpop. Give all their songs a listen you will not regret it. Wonder Girls, Girls Generation, and Miss A were my introduction into Kpop when I was in high school. I didn’t realize I was hooked until 2010 though😉 I also had a hard time with a bias in this group because 2nd Gen groups were blessed with talented members that you couldn’t choose, you loved them all for their individual talents🥰🥰🥰
You went with 2 Wonder Girls 2.0 songs. This is when Sunmi came back to the group after their leader left and got married. This version is much different than OG Wonder Girls. This version had them being more like a band and the girls taking an active role in writing the songs. Early Wonder Girls is more typical kpop girl group, but I loved this evolution and wish it lasted longer. The drummer Yubin has some solo songs you can checkout. She runs her own company now with Lim(not Sunmi guitar player) signed to it. The keyboard player has a great solo career as HA:TFELT. Her first solo album is still one of the best imo. Billboard agreed and named it their #5 kpop album in 2014 despite it not being a monster sales success.
Wonder Girls opened for the Jonas Brothers concert in 2009. They were the first kpop group to enter billboards hot 100 that year with the song Nobody. You should listen to that. It a really catchy song and they even have an english version.
wonder girls first debuted in 2007 with the song irony. they were really successful but had lineup changes. sunmi was in the original lineup but left in 2010 to focus on her studies. she came back a few years later as a soloist (her iconic songs of 24 hours and full moon) and then in 2015 sunmi rejoined the group. the remaining members each learned to play instruments! their songs have choreography as well so in some of their stages they are playing their instruments and in others they are dancing. they eventually disbanded in 2017 and that’s when sunmi left JYP & went to another company to continue being a soloist.
"why so lonely" was the first song I heard from them. I heard Sunmi before, she's a queen with her solo songs. But I hope you'll check out "Yeeun"/ Ha:tfelt from Wonder Girls as well. Her songs are so good, her voice is pretty unique and she recently dropped an album ("Bluebir"d is my favorite b-side btw, she showed some really nice vocals). "Life sucks" has a pretty deep meaning, she talks about her sad past with her father, there are hints in the video. And she had a song with Moonbyul called "Happy Now". 🙂
Wonder girls isn’t a band but they do know how to play these instruments and for this song/era they utilized and promoted their songs as a band. They had more members so I definitely recommend watching more of their older songs
Wonder Girls are a lengendary group. Their older song are not the kind of music that I like, but the music that they released with their last formation were amazing. Unfortunately they released just an album and a single, but Reboot is still one of my favourite album. You should also react to Ha:tfelt solos (the one who plays the keyboard) I love her music I suggest Life Sucks and Ain't Nobody. I also really like Sunmi solos(the one who play the bass), her album Warning is amazing
Oh Wonder Girls were legendary. They are not band actually, but i guess their Last two album were performed like a band and have strong retro vibe and sound. And... Wow they are incredible
Sunmi: Bass, main dancer, vocalist, visual (same solo stagename as you know) Yubin: Drums, main rapper, vocalist, center (same solo stagename, and currently director of her own entertainment company RRR, "real recognise real") Yeeun: Leader, keyboard, main vocalist (Ha:Tfelt is her solo stagename) Hyerim/Lim: Guitar, vocalist, lead rapper, maknae Prior to the reboot as band format, Sohee was the center, and Yeeun basically took over from Sunye as leader/main vocalist. The band was known for its retro vibes all the way through, and especially with Sohee, who cornered the cutesy market (known as the "nation's little sister") their earlier work is much more innocent. Since they were all adults when they rebooted (the youngest being 23) they pushed a more adult and sexy image, which didn't work as well previously with Sohee as the face of the group. Fun fact: HyunA (of soloist, 4Minute and "being the girl in Psy's Gangnam Style" fame) was a member of the group at debut, but left, being replaced by Yubin.
Omg yes Wonder Girls! Their rapper (Yubin) is one of my favorites along Dreamcatcher’s Dami (whose real name is also Yubin lol). I also find their rapping voices pretty similar.
The Wonder Girls will forever be remembered as a legendary gg. From the WonSoKa days; Wonder Girls, SNSD (Girls Generation), Kara dominated television and radio for years. Before the idol industry became very saturated, these girl groups were household names. Older adults could name several if not all members, which is very hard to come by nowadays even with the most popular groups. I recommend Irony, So Hot, 2DT, I think those songs really showcase their musicality and diversity. Tell Me and Nobody were definitely their biggest hits and you should check them out too if you get the time!
You may want to react to the entire Reboot album, which is based on the 80s sound, circa 1987. It is regarded as one of the most cohesive k-pop albums of all time. EDIT: it is a pity that they couldn't continue as a band since they were making great music.
I’m not 100% sure, but like for example with “why so lonely” they did both dance and band promotions (for their live stages) so I guess there both! They also write and produce too! Queens. (Also I feel disrespectful requesting other groups on other artists vides, but can you please react to a bit of “9muses” one time in your throw back Thursday. They went 9 years without a win and just were criminally under rated :( [also it’s the group sera ryu is from - I saw you notice her as the ultimate dami stan one time -]. - also their line up changed a lot, just a heads up if you decide to check them out -
Omg thank you so much for reacting to these queens! They were one of the groups that got me in to kpop!! And I also think you should really check out some of the other members solo stuff!! HA:TFELT/Yeeun(Keyboard) and Yubin(Drums) both have some really amazing songs! (Ha:felt also has a song together with Moonbyul called "Happy Now")
their discography as a group and as soloists is just amazing. i'm so happy you enjoyed these songs. and i have to agree, a female band just feels powerful.
Another Sunmi fan :). Wonder Girls reboot album (which the last song was from) is still one of the best 80s retro concepts in kpop and their earlier music sometimes has that early 00 EDM vibe. Great choice!
Ahh wg! Where to begin..so 2007 was the year that opened the doors to 2nd gen girl groups. 2007 was the year Kara, snsd, & wg debuted & marked the start of the rise & popularity of girl groups again. I was lucky enough to see wg live in concert during their us tour but unfortunately it was right after Sunmi left so I saw all the other members except her 😭 they were all SO PRETTY in real life
I Feel You hits different, the retro vibes, the music and concept was just amazing, and then DC you and i came to my life tho, i was shock and mesmerized, because KPOP sounds usually feel the same, and now Sunmi and DC are my top Kpop musician
Please react to IU, she is a female singer with a sweet and powerful voice, a diverse discography and she's also very huge in Korea. I recommend you listen to her 2011 song "Good day" which was the one that made her famous because of the high notes and shows the power of her voice and "Palette" from 2017 where you can see how her style has changed through the years and how soft her voice can be. I'm obsessed with your reactions, they're amazing!!!!
Glad you enjoyed the Wonder Girls! They definitely are a legendary group that’s influence will always be apart of KPOP✨👏🏽 Excited for more WG reactions!!
Wonder Girls debuted in 2007 from JYP with five members, Yeeun, Sunye, Sunmi, Hyuna and Sohee. But soon several months after debut, Hyuna left the group due to health concern (later she join new company called Cube entertainment, and became a member of 4 Minute). After the depature of Hyuna, they replaced Yubin in a rapper role. In 2010, Sunmi left the group to carry on her academic career, so they replaced Hyerim in Sunmi's position. In 2013, the youngest Sohee departed from the group due to the expiration of her contract with JYP (She is now an actress) and in late 2014, Sunye left the group too. So only Yeeun and the two replaced members Yubin and Hyerim left in Wonder Girls. But then Sunmi started her solo debut in 2013 and rejoined Wonder Girls again. They became a four-piece band until their disbandment in 2017. After the disbandment, Sunmi went to MAKEUS ent. and pursuing as a soloist. Yeeun (the pink hair) went to Amoeba Culture ent and became a solo artist with a name called Ha:tfelt Yubin (the rapper) remained in JYP as a solo artist and she now establishes her own entertainment company RRR ent. Hyerim is now married and joined Yubin's new ent.
Just a heads up. HA:TFELT released a mini album, Me?, through JYP ent, so she was a soloist before going to Amoeba. It's an outstanding album, in my opinion. But everything else, you nailed!
I recommend Sunye and Yeeun’s cover of When You Believe theyre 2 of the most underrated vocalists in the industry, and honestly the best main/lead vocal duo of all time
I reccomend "rewind". It's one of my favorites and it has a nice 80's vibe. They're most popular songs are probably "I'm so hot", "tell me", and "Nobody"
Wonder Girls is the queen of retro KPOP. Here's a quick rundown of WG: They went with the band concept for their last two comebacks before disbandment. WG is famous for their 70s-80s retro sound (Tell Me, So Hot, Nobody, 2 Different Tears) and went through a few changes. Debuted originally with 5 members and Hyuna (of 4Minute) was the original rapper. She left due to health reasons and Yubin joined as the main rapper. After a few years JYP pushed them to the US and soon after Sunmi left/took a break and Hyelim was added. Sunmi went solo for a bit. After a few comebacks main vocals and leader, Sunye, got married, left the industry and moved to Canada. Member Sohee eventually left the group as well. Sunmi came back to the group and I Feel You was her return comeback. After Why So Lonely the group officially disbanded with all members leaving JYP. Each member is now solo with the exception of Sunye living in Canada and Sohee is now an actress. WG, 2NE1, and SNSD dominated the 2nd generation. For me, the best and most iconic KPOP trio in the industry.
So much to go over with them. They were from JYP. Same company as Twice and Itzy. So they are like their big sisters as we as Miss A. Another great group to give a listen. Wonder Girls members Sunye, HyunA, Yubin, Sohee, Yenny, Hybin and Sunmi. All very well known in Korea. Yenny and Sunye have some of the best vocals from 2nd gen kpop. HyunA joined another group called 4minute and also was in Psy video and solo music. Sohee went into acting. She was in Train To Busan. All talented members.
"I Feel You" was the title track for their album "Reboot" and I think you would really like it, the entire album has that retro synth band sound. As other people have mentioned, Yubin and YeEun (who goes by the stage name Ha:tfelt) are both still active as solo artists just like Sunmi, and in particular I think you would be interested to hear that Ha:tfelt has a song called "Are You Happy Now" that features Moonbyul
I highly suggest you check out HA:TFELT (Yeeun, the pink haired girl in why so lonely)s solo stuff! She's not really an idol anymore but she does a lot of solo music and it's all very good, same with Yubin (the rapper) she has very good retro solo songs. Wonder Girls didn't start out as a band, they actually were only a band for a little while before disbandment after a hiatus.
originally a girl group dancing and singing with these two comebacks they actually learned to play these instruments and had a whole band shtick loved it
2010's legend WonderGirls. Tell me , I am so hot etc. were like..that is when Idol culture got the fame back in Korea again. This Girl group or band is one of record breaking kpop artists. Shame they did not make it in the US. Back then JYP made wrong decision bringing them to US.. Meanwhile in Korea GirlsGeneration really escalated their market share to No.1 in Korea and many other idols got into the industry.
They used to be kpop's powerhouse group, until they step out in their comfort zone and decided to promote in west, and their popularity declined for being too long in the west and new groups debuting while they were away. But their talents and discography is a gem. One of the most important figure in Kpop scene. Legends!
YES WONDER QUEENS FINALLY They became a band in 2015 so their previous songs aren’t like that but they’re incredible anyway! But they perform their hit songs after becoming a band so you can watch live stages They’re legends! I love them since I was a little kid😔😂💕💕💕 Love you reactions! And definitely waiting for more❤️
From what I remembered they were a kpop idol group when they debuted and I think there was a time where they were having comebacks as a band as well since they know how to play instruments. I might be wrong but it's been long that I heard from them so...
I'm surprised no one mentioned the song ha:tfelt (keyboard player) has with moonbyul called "happy now"! Wonder girls are amazing, i really like their music, please keep the reactions coming
Wonder Girls in this era were one of the groups that got me interested in Kpop but then they disbanded :( You should check out the teasers they released before they came back playing instruments. Sunmi's sexy slap bass playing... You need to see it!
Welcome to Yubin club! love these two songs so much! If you’re a fan of the 80s concept, give the whole of Reboot a listen, it really is the best kpop album. Also, check out ‘iron girl’ by ha:felt and Lim :)
Ha:tfelt (keyboard, Yeeun) has a song featuring Moonbyul if you're interested it's called Happy now. Also Jiu, Sua and Siyeon sang Me, in ( Wonder girls cover) on a radio and it's fantastic.
Wonder Girls debuted in 2007 as a traditional girl group with 5 members; Sohee, Yeeun, Sunyee, HyunA, and Sunmi. They were a huge success and known for retro pop sound. HyunA left the group early on due to health reason not long after debut and Yubin (drummer in these videos) replaced her. HyunA would later redebut with group 4minute and later as a soloist. At the hight of their game, their company (JYP) decided to push US advancement and they became the first K-pop group to break into the Billboard top 100. Member Submit left in the middle of this supposedly to pursue her education but many people think she was tired of living overseas. Member Hyelim (bassist in these videos) was added to replacement. She got a lot of hate from core fans for various stupid reasons. She had not been training long so her vocals were not well developed yet. Many people speculate that she was chosen to join the group due to her nearly fluent English skill that would help them when promoting in the US. Eventually the company would give up on American promotion. They did good for the first K-pop group that actually really pushed it but not nearly as well as people thought they would. They came back to SK and had 2 successful comebacks with this line up. Notably, one of the title tracks "Like This" was the first time they promoted a sound that wasn't retro inspired in Korea (they did non retro stuff in the US). They were on unofficial hiatus for roughly 3 years during which time Sunmi debuted as a soloist. In 2015 leader and main vocalist Sunyee announced she was leaving the group to get married. Maknae Sohee also decided to leave the group to pursue acting which had been her original goal before becoming a singer. The company announced that Sunmi would be rejoining the group and they would be rebranding them as both a band and a dance group. Their Re:boot album (one of my top 10 favorite albums of all time) was the first of these promotions and they would alternate performing as a band or dancing. Even though new Wonder Girls was extremely popular, the girls decided to part ways in 2017 and pursue their own careers. Yubin, Sunmi, and Yeeun (on keys) all are pursuing solo activities. Yeeun goes by the stage name Ha:felt and her stuff is soo freaking good! Hyelim went to college and became a professional literature translator. She has since joined Yubin's agency though it's not clear if she plans on getting back into singing or if it was just to help manage her tv appearances- she was on a reality tv show with her boyfriend (now husband) for a while. Sorry this was long but I just find their history very fascinating They were the group that got me and many second gen stand into K-pop due to their promotions in the US. They will always be near and dear to my heart.
Wonder Girls (debuted on 2007) the first girl group formed by JYP Entertainment (twice, itzy, got7, and stray kids' company) they had 5 members (Sunye *former member* 4 minute's HyunA *also a former member* Sohee *another former member* Sunmi and Yeeun *the pink haired girl*) HyunA was the first member to leave the group due to concerns over her health which led to the addition of Yubin (the drummer) as replacement. Sunmi also departed from the group some time around 2010 and was replaced by Hyelim (the short haired one). It was then announced at 2015 that members Sunye and Sohee decided to leave the group, they are all still very good friends. They were just a normal girl group at the beginning of their career (yknow dancing and singing) and was one of the most successful kpop girl groups. They went on hiatus around 2013-2015 and came back as a four-member band (which is what you've just witnessed) and they had a pretty peaceful disbandment om 2017 compared to other girl groups. Sorry this is a bit messy
This was the reforming of wonder girls in 2015 when they tried to comeback with the band concept. They also dropped this single the same time as Gfriend Rough, which went on to dominate kpop for 4 months or something like that. A couple of them went on to be relatively successful solo in the years after. Yubin (drummer rapper singer) is really fun in her solo stuff. AOA black also tried the band thing, but we all know now AOA was a toxic experience for many members and we were never going to get AOA black back.
Sunmi is one of the most commercially successful ex Wondergirls now. But the funny thing is in Wondergirls she was overshadowed to a certain extent by the leader (Sunye) and Yeeun (AKA HA:FELT) and also the Rapper Yubin ! and of course there is the fabulous Hyuna ! That just shows the mettle of the Wondergirls Members ! I have a dream of the 7wonders reunion some time in the future, when Sunye stop popping out babies LOL she is my fav and she as 3 babies now LOL !! ( she had the reputation of being the "best KPOP Leader ever" !) PS : Sunmi wrote "Why So Lonely" and her song "Siren", she originally wrote for Wondergirls ! I can imagine Wondergirls performing that for sure!
Finally! I was wondering when you’d react to them. Yoohyeon would be happy that you checked the group that made her want to be a singer. But as others mentioned these two songs were after they became a band, they started as a gg with a retro concept and got famous worldwide with their song “Nobody”. When they were on hiatus (probably when Twice was starting out) they decided to learn instruments and became a band during their last 2 comebacks before they disbanded. I forgot which video of yours I wrote my essay about them on (probably the SNSD one) but yeah, one of my favorite groups and the first kpop group I saw live when they had their first US tour.
As others have stated, there are really two iterations of Wonder Girls. It is certainly worth delving in to the first one as while some of their top songs may seem dated, it will give you insight in to the history of the group, but kpop gg's in general, as they really were the first ones to take off outside of Korea. The second iteration IMHO has even better material than the first, and they played all their own instruments and wrote a lot of their own songs.
U NEED for react to their reboot album for I feel you. It is amazing and they wrote and composed a lot of the songs on there. The concepts and everything is just UGH
also check out Yubin, she's the rapper of the group and is currently a soloist, she's very talented, and she recently made her own entertainment company called rrr entertainment... some of her solos are Thank You Sooo Much Lady Me time
Yaaaas 2nd gen groups !! I would like to recommend Miss A for your Throwback Thursday.. There is not a song of theirs that i do not bop to ! Here r some of their songs: I Dont Need A Man Touch Good Girl, Bad Girl Only You 💙💚💛💜
they can really perform as a band, they know how to play the instruments.. why so lonely is my favorite WG song ^^ AOA started also as a band (if you are familiar with them)
Yaaaay wonder girls 😍 btw you should also check out the girl group "After School": they're the ultimate dancing queens of Kpop! They have the widest range of dance styles such as cheerleading, step dancing, pole dance etc.. My song recommendations are: ah; bang; first love (this one is a must hehe). Lots of love ♡
They originally were a kpop group, but for these two comebacks (their last ones, if I'm not mistaken?), they switched the concept to a band. Wonder Girls are totally iconic! Yubin (th blonde rapper), Yeeun (pink hair in the first video, although she promotes as HA:TFELT) and ofc Sunmi, all have solo careers. I can totally seen you eing into Yeeun's, she even has a collab with Moonbyul from MAMAMOO!
@@SirAustin Omg, I just found my collection of guitar picks the other day. Several SK, No Doubt, a bunch of British bands. Wasn't that the best feeling? "I got it!" :D
oh may god this is my favorite of all their songs. also although this isn't their disbandment song when you knew they were gonna disband and this came out this song was so beautifully painful I think they're a band and every member can play an instrument
Please react to ha:tfelt (shes yeeun who has the pink hair in why so lonely and the blue streak highlight in I feel you) nobody and all her songs! She’s so underrated as a soloist
Please react to Sunny hill sometimes! they'd be perfect for a throwback thursday! they're known for having a lot of really interesting metaphors and narratives in their music videos in regards to issues in society. Their music video "Pray" became really famous because of that , and other great videos such as "The Grasshoppers song" or "midnight circus" also each got very interesting concepts and messages. also i'm glad you like wonder girls, they're great!
I know people have already explained in lots of ways, but in a way I find it kinda simple: They debuted in 2007 as a 5-membered group, one of them(Hyuna!) left after the debut and was replaced by Yubin(the rapper here), then after a few years Sunmi left the group and was replaced by Hyelim, 2 years after that they went on a hiatus, two of the original members(Sunye and Sohee) left the group, and in 2015 they came back as a band with the 3 members that were left + Sunmi who returned.
You have to react the old ones. They were my favourite girl band and it was so sad when took different ways. I recommend you listen SunYe and YeEun sing. You will love them. I will love SunYe, my loved leader.
OMG I remember NOBODY! That was the start of a whole kpop craze in the Philippines and the world i think!!! Its reeally really iconic!! You must check it out! It went viral like gangnam style, but maybe social media was just booming back then..
Yay wonder girls. I highly recommend checking out HA:TFELT (Yeeun from wonder girls solo stuff) she has a song with Moonbyul that's amazing and an all English song called Life Sucks that also amazing.
Wonder Girls is great! Unfortunately, I only discovered them after they had disbanded, when I started stanning Sunmi 😕 I haven't checked out their entire discography yet, but I liked everything I listened till now. You should totally take a look at Ha:tfelt's (Yeeun in WG) stuff too, she has some great music! And if you want something fun, I recommend their video singing Why So Lonely on Tipsy Live (yes, it's exactly what it sounds like 😂 Sunmi also has a video on the same channel singing Siren drunk, if you haven't seen that yet 😂)
I actually saw the one member in Canada. I got to meet her in person and heard her sing!
I recommend you Ha:Tfelt, she's Yeeun in Wonder girls. She's a soloist too, and her vocals are just perfect !
Ha:tfelt- life suck
Yes! YeEun (now Ha:tfelt) is WG's main vocalist and she did a song feat Moonbyul so you might want to check that out. Her new solo songs are like art. I love her voice since the original Wondergirls (members changed like 2-3 times)
@@graceababan yesssss
she still owns Album of the year in my heart so far ...
I'll second this. She is even better as a solo artist, writes all her own material as well.

(Ha:felt also has a song together with Moonbyul called "Happy Now")
Hyuna (who you havent reacted too yet) was also an OG member of Wonder Girls, highly recommend checking her stuff out!
their discography as a group and as soloists is just amazing. i'm so happy you enjoyed these songs. and i have to agree, a female band just feels powerful.
I was lucky enough to see wg live in concert during their us tour but unfortunately it was right after Sunmi left so I saw all the other members except her 😭 they were all SO PRETTY in real life
Wonder Girls are legendary! missed them.
I Feel You was the song that got me seriously into K-pop, then they disbanded and I didn't come back to kpop until DC's You And I.
Yeeun (the pink hair) went to Amoeba Culture ent and became a solo artist with a name called Ha:tfelt
Yubin (the rapper) remained in JYP as a solo artist and she now establishes her own entertainment company RRR ent.
Hyerim is now married and joined Yubin's new ent.
Just a heads up. HA:TFELT released a mini album, Me?, through JYP ent, so she was a soloist before going to Amoeba.
It's an outstanding album, in my opinion.
But everything else, you nailed!
Nice to the mention of Hyuna.
@@sarahrubia22 Ah yes. She released a song under JYP .Forgot to mention.
I recommend Sunye and Yeeun’s cover of When You Believe
theyre 2 of the most underrated vocalists in the industry, and honestly the best main/lead vocal duo of all time
My stars that was a heavenly performance
The rapper drummer is Yubin and She is my favoriteeeee super Wonder Girl 💜💜💜💜💜
I reccomend "rewind". It's one of my favorites and it has a nice 80's vibe. They're most popular songs are probably "I'm so hot", "tell me", and "Nobody"
Wonder Girls is the queen of retro KPOP. Here's a quick rundown of WG:
They went with the band concept for their last two comebacks before disbandment.
You should totally check Yubin (the drummer) and Ha:tfelt (pink hair) music! They both have amazing songs
originally a girl group dancing and singing with these two comebacks they actually learned to play these instruments and had a whole band shtick loved it
2010's legend WonderGirls.
Legends!
YES WONDER QUEENS FINALLY
They became a band in 2015 so their previous songs aren’t like that but they’re incredible anyway!
But they perform their hit songs after becoming a band so you can watch live stages
They’re legends! I love them since I was a little kid😔😂💕💕💕
Love you reactions! And definitely waiting for more❤️
From what I remembered they were a kpop idol group when they debuted and I think there was a time where they were having comebacks as a band as well since they know how to play instruments. I might be wrong but it's been long that I heard from them so...
Omg wonder girls will forever be one of my favorite kpop gg.
I'm surprised no one mentioned the song ha:tfelt (keyboard player) has with moonbyul called "happy now"!
Wonder girls are amazing, i really like their music, please keep the reactions coming
wonder girls - like this is good song too. and Wonder Girls "Like this" Dance Practice is legend. :)
Wonder Girls in this era were one of the groups that got me interested in Kpop but then they disbanded :(
You should check out the teasers they released before they came back playing instruments. Sunmi's sexy slap bass playing... You need to see it!
Wonder girls ITS legend they were one of The first kpop Group that Got famous to USA with The song «Nobody» their biggest hit
Sunmi is my ult bias and Noir is definitely one of my favorite songs of all
Gaaaaahhh I love Sunmi too and Hyuna 😍
YG trainees -silver Boys covered Why so lonely and I fell in love with the song too lol
THEYRE SO PERFECT I MISS THEM SO MUCH AAAAAAAAAA
Sorry this was long but I just find their history very fascinating
They were the group that got me and many second gen stand into K-pop due to their promotions in the US. They will always be near and dear to my heart.
Omg my i miss wonder girls thanks for the reacting.
The rapper, Yubin, has some solo stuff too! She seems to go for more retro sounds, which is great since I like disco feels and synths
I think they were a band, Sunmi still plays guitar and it's nicee
Wonder Girls version 1.5 (after Sunmi left but before she rejoined) did an English-language song "Like Money" with US artist Akon.
Need more Wonder Girls!!!!!!
From the beginning.
The whole REBOOT album for I feel you was gold it would have done really well last year I think with the throwback trend we had
U NEED for react to their reboot album for I feel you. It is amazing and they wrote and composed a lot of the songs on there. The concepts and everything is just UGH
also check out Yubin, she's the rapper of the group and is currently a soloist, she's very talented, and she recently made her own entertainment company called rrr entertainment...
some of her solos are
Thank You Sooo Much
Lady
Me time
Yaaaas 2nd gen groups !! I would like to recommend Miss A for your Throwback Thursday.. There is not a song of theirs that i do not bop to ! Here r some of their songs:
I Dont Need A Man
Touch
Good Girl, Bad Girl
Only You
💙💚💛💜
they can really perform as a band, they know how to play the instruments.. why so lonely is my favorite WG song ^^
AOA started also as a band (if you are familiar with them)
Awwww WG!!! Loved them back in the day ❤️ just a warning tho... this band concept is totally different from their earlier days....
The Donna's are an amazing band I loved them.
OMGGG i didnt know that you love sunmi 😲😲
Noir its in fact best song and music video 😍😍
They originally were a kpop group, but for these two comebacks (their last ones, if I'm not mistaken?), they switched the concept to a band. Wonder Girls are totally iconic! Yubin (th blonde rapper), Yeeun (pink hair in the first video, although she promotes as HA:TFELT) and ofc Sunmi, all have solo careers. I can totally seen you eing into Yeeun's, she even has a collab with Moonbyul from MAMAMOO!
I recommend sunmi, she is a singer songwriter solo artist, after leaving wonder girls.
I feel you, my favorite song by them😭😭
you got to throw it back futher sir.. Tell Me, So Hot, Nobody ect.. man those were all my jam when i was growing up..LOL
Was never a huge Donnas fan but loved SK. And now I love kpop girl groups!
I saw The Donnas live in 2008 and the bass player noticed that I was singing along and gave me her guitar pick after the show. 🥺
@@SirAustin Omg, I just found my collection of guitar picks the other day. Several SK, No Doubt, a bunch of British bands. Wasn't that the best feeling? "I got it!" :D
Check out 4minute as well. Hwasa usually sing the demo and guide song for them. Locally, Hwasa was inspired with Hyuna alongside with Lee Hyori.
oh may god this is my favorite of all their songs. also although this isn't their disbandment song when you knew they were gonna disband and this came out this song was so beautifully painful
I think they're a band and every member can play an instrument
the wonder girls reboot album is one of the best kpop albums of all time imho. i think you'd really like it
Please react to ha:tfelt (shes yeeun who has the pink hair in why so lonely and the blue streak highlight in I feel you) nobody and all her songs! She’s so underrated as a soloist
You should check out Yubin’s solo work! She’s so underrated, but all her songs are bops!
HyunA also made her debut with the Wondergirls
I know people have already explained in lots of ways, but in a way I find it kinda simple:
They debuted in 2007 as a 5-membered group, one of them(Hyuna!) left after the debut and was replaced by Yubin(the rapper here), then after a few years Sunmi left the group and was replaced by Hyelim, 2 years after that they went on a hiatus, two of the original members(Sunye and Sohee) left the group, and in 2015 they came back as a band with the 3 members that were left + Sunmi who returned.
I loved this, you got me... i'll subscribe.
I got into them when they disband and I regret that I wasn't able to into kpop earlier.
IT'S MY GIRLS NOBODY TOUCH ME!!!
Omg, I love WG so much! ❤️
Thank u!!!!!
When they were still together why so lonely was literally my fav song. I was so sad they shorty broke up not to long after
Yay wonder girls. I highly recommend checking out HA:TFELT (Yeeun from wonder girls solo stuff) she has a song with Moonbyul that's amazing and an all English song called Life Sucks that also amazing.
YESSSSS WONDERGIRLS
I love this songs a lot♥
Yubin
Wonder Girls is great! Unfortunately, I only discovered them after they had disbanded, when I started stanning Sunmi 😕 I haven't checked out their entire discography yet, but I liked everything I listened till now. You should totally take a look at Ha:tfelt's (Yeeun in WG) stuff too, she has some great music! And if you want something fun, I recommend their video singing Why So Lonely on Tipsy Live (yes, it's exactly what it sounds like 😂 Sunmi also has a video on the same channel singing Siren drunk, if you haven't seen that yet 😂)
Wonder girls 😍
I enjoy your videos so much ♥
