Great video, Jeff! This is super helpful. I'm an employee at my community center's fitness center. I've been there just over two years now and plan to be more active on Instagram and eventually create a Facebook business page. I have two questions for you: 1) How would you recommend I get social proof from my already existing clients? I don't take before or after photos for clients and want to eventually. I think getting social proof from my clients can be challenging since I'm not self employed yet. Would written or video testimonials work? 2) I'm a personal trainer in a different state than I was born and raised in. I live about 5 hours away now. So if I promote my services and share client testimonials, many of the people who would see this don't live in the same state as me. If they're interested in working with me, could I offer virtual or online training instead? Thank you!:)
Written testimonials can work great! Basic reviews from clients can work really well too! If you’ve had a client achieve an impressive result you really just need an after picture. People will have pictures from when they were overweight. You can definitely offer online or virtual sessions. Also, you don’t have to say where the clients are from when making their testimonials. It just matters that they worked with you and achieved results
@ If you do decide you want to focus more on content creation, I’m a video editor and I can help you get more content out and help highlight the important details.
Hey, so ive have a question is it possible to become a personal trainer at 34. Ive been working out for 10 years. Ive ran cardio kick boxing classes and really love the idea of helping people get into shape. Im looking to get out of accounting and thinking maybe this is my passion but im scared im too old for this field. Sorry for the ramble have a nice day
You’re definitely not too old! The trainer who does the most training in my studio is in their late 50’s 34 is nothing, you can do it! Maybe just start part time and build from there
@SortaHealthyTrainerEducation thank you I needed that. Im scared to start with everything going on in America. But my plan is to shadow. I did pay a personal trainer for 10 sessions and shadowed him. My goal is to help the average person get into shape cause that what bring me joy. And I did plan to start maybe on weekends and late nights then go part time and more hours as a trainer, than maybe do full time if I get to it.
@ it sounds like a very solid plan! If you keep your full time job and training as a side job I think you’ll very much enjoy the process and get paid to do something you like. Stick with it!
Thanks for the support guys!💪

@@SortaHealthyTrainerEducation That's really helpful, thank you!:) I plan to ask some of my clients for testimonials soon
Awesome! Do the CEUs for the conference include NSCA?
Unfortunately, I don’t think the NSCA is accepting is for CEC’s they’re notoriously tough to get a hold of for things like this
Hey your content is great. Do you do your own video editing?
Thank you! Yup I do all of it. That may change at some point but I do actually like the process
