A note on free trials. The competitors who offer this usually do not want lots of retries, but rather have some system like one per email so that people can try the platform, but they can still keep costs down. If you have a bit of money the free trial isn't needed because some companies now are doing half price sales on the 10k accounts. A 50 dollar 10k account is like a free trial with some possible "fun money" at the end of it.

Are you planning on adding additional payment methods besides crypto? When you calculate the round trip of (for example) BTC (buying it sending it to you then getting paid and withdrawing etc) it quickly adds up... it would be very convenient to have Bank Wire Transfer option which usually has the lowest flat fees for money transfers and it eliminates additional hoop-loops an transfer fees...

A prop firm you had promoted was one that allowed overnight & even over weekend trades. Requiring settles by end of day is as huge of a limitation as the 30 day limit for meeting the challenge and a money-maker for the prop firms that verges on being a scam. So, what's the deal with this firm? I listened for the rules of trading with Funder Pro and this wan not covered at all.
Also, frankly, it drives me as crazy when someone says "you know" every 30 seconds as saying "um" or "uh" over and over.Gary has this habit and it is very annoying. Speakers need to learn that slower speech, to allow mouth to catch up with brain, or a pause is more acceptable than these filler words.
what is the 5 day trading rule exaclty is? Am I good to go if I have one trade each day for 5 days? Does it counts? It wasn't asked in the video and it wasn't mentioned in funderpro terms&rules

The 30 day time limit has kept me from really going in on a funded account, I end up trading differently with a ticking clock. No time limit is amazing and I'm going to have to give this a try when their free trial goes live, then when I have the spare cash take the challenge account.

Unfortunately the spreads are pretty high compared with other prop trading firms. For example eurusd spread 8-10. without commission it would be acceptable.

Thank you for always giving us the best advice on forex trading. I am a self taught forex trader, mastered a trading strategy, have a trading plan and is now good at risk management. Do you know of any Prop firm that can allow me to take their challenge for free? I am in a 3rd world country and is short of money. I had been trading on 10k demo accounts for sometime now and was able to hit the 10% profit target required by most Prop firms multiple times while maintaining a 3% or 4% Daily Draw down. I am confident I can make consistent profits and I am willing to accept less than the standard 80/20 profit split of most prop firms. Alternatively if you sponsor me, I am ready to give you a share of the profits.

This was one of the biggest things I find psychology was the time limit. I myself run multiple businesses so trying to make the goal within a month can sometimes be a challenge, and cause a mental block. I am thankful that you offer this with no time limit. I will definitely give you guys a try. Thank you! One more thing the 1:100 leverage on this style of account is amazing as well.

to all prop firms that limit the number of demo/paper trading accounts; why not give infinite free trials? people just learn to stick to the rules and eventually maybe they pass, and get a funded account. no harm with that. why keep changing emails? or why only one free trial? i could not see how that helps anyone. - demo/paper trading is for practice - until your ready. why limit that?

Thanks arty as always great work. Unfortunately, funderpro is not swing trading friendly because you have to close any position 2 hours before market close and you are not allowed to hold a position during news and events. Hope they will change this soon. All other criteria are very good.

How do they get around regulators and let us trade with REAL money? The other Prop Firms have us pay them to play with their software (Demo) and rhen they send our trades to a different company and actually have them place the trades.
a 1 minute and 1 hour chart is not ideal, they need to fix that asap. and their numbers are different then the real index...so they make money on each transaction ?
Ok I plan on doing something like this as I need income. I have say $500 but I only really need to pull about $250 a week trading at a min. I feel this could be done just need to find out how to go about it starting with $500. I have a practice account but it's only 100k but I trade only with 10k of it which still isn't giving me an idea. Also the challenge earnings seems way to high as I feel what I am shooting for is achievable.

How do prop firms protect their capital if a trader goes rogue and stupidly risks it all on a loser? Say they've only made 5% profit and they prop firm split isn't enough to cover the total loss of the account after the bad risk trade.

Sorry Arty, no disrespect, I know they pay you for saying that, but as soon as a company is only accepting Crypto there are several red lights and alarmbells going off. A legit company would accept any kind of payment.

I lived in Florida, USA, for 12 years. We are brilliant, noble and strong together.
I'm on there so far decent although I don't know if the spreads are all compatible with swing trading, got stopped out pretty massive distance from wick and candle imo. 86 pip stop loss, I guess based on trading view numbers anyway. Going to take my time with it next day n half I'm just reviewing things that I f$&#$ed up on.

so, I'm on a trial with FunderPro because they use OspreyFX as their broker... I've traded 2 days on it and the 2nd day was over the 60% consistency rule... now, my account is disabled unable to take a trade... so, I'm getting penalized for an excellent runner? Based on my startegy of 1% per trade... And being forced to create trading plan that focuses on not going over a profit level rather than trading my strategy per the risk/reward & % of account based -- this is not how you create a trading strategy... also, commission + large spread seems fishy to me... I'm not a fan of OspreyFX... I'm not sure FunderPro is for me... my guess is that these guys are also trade copying your trades... once you are funded

IMHO, the 5ers Bootcamp is the way to go. Instead of paying a big fee to attempt a challenge, they don't have a time limit (well, a year) and you can take the 3 part challenge for around $95. Max 2% risk / must have a SL and trade a 25K, then a 50K then a 75K account to prove consistency. Do that, then get a funded 100K account by paying the rest of the usual fee that others charge at the beginning. Seems to fairest system to me. Not ripping off people like some companies do. What's your opinion please?

I tried a demo account on tradelocker and the spreads are insane. For XRP it is 100, for GBPUSD it's 62. I placed a 5 lot trade on XRP and it started with a negative 40 USD! So you basically start with a debt, then offset it, and only then can you make a profit for yourself.

This sounds fantastic. There are two things I’m curious about. Firstly, will there be an integrated risk calculator or the option to load our own? Secondly, with the scale up program of 50% every 3 months, it says that you must consistently achieve 10% profit target. What is consistently? 10% / month or 10 in the period of 3 months?
Great new arty, one more thing to ask, can we withdraw less than our profit! If its 10k account and my profit is 1000 then can i withraw less like 200 or 500 and keep the balance there. It gives me better feeling when i have a buffer over initial balance

I just learned about prop trading, and I am still trying to figure things out. However, several times in the past, I have taken a $100,000 paper account and made at least a 5% return within 30 days and a few times 10% by buying SPY and QQQ and selling options with zero DTE. Most days, my strategy results in assignment at the end of the day leaving me in all cash for the next day to repeat the strategy. Is there any prop trading firm out there that will allow this strategy of index funds and options?

I'm a new trader but I'm under the impression that prop firms take advantage of traders. The rules that are in place are impossible. They are designed to keep people to coming back and spending more money. Do they really pay out?
