To be fair, in this press week Charithra would have been providing the answers as per the PR team's briefing, when left to her own devices some of her answers are very different. However, she comes across with a lot of confidence during the interview.

I heard somewhere that she and Simone actually sat down and wrote a backstory for their characters to understand where the sisters were coming from, and what sort of experiences they would have had growing up, so they could portray their characters with more depth
Rubbish, it wasn't that they had no idea it was obviously pre arranged who would answer which questions and that was obviously the question that Charithra was meant to answer. Her answer would have been provided by the PR team as well, they would all be given talking points. I have heard interviews with Charithra away from this tightly controlled press week and her answers, and take on it are so different to what she gave here which shows in this she was saying what she was told to say and not giving an answer that was honest to what she believed. Also, her answer was so off the mark about the love triangle it was embarrassing seeing this after the show, she likes to believe Anthony loved Edwina when he didn't love Edwina at all. She has gone on in subsequent interviews to blame Kate for ruining Edwina's happiness and for basically being a b*tch for falling in love with Anthony, Charithra believes that Kate is what stopped Anthony and Edwina from having a HEA, not understanding that Edwina and Anthony would never be happy together because Anthony didn't love or really care about Edwina. Charithra showed her inexperience in the business by not understanding the story or the characters.

Simone likes to truly get in the head of her characters and understand them, and that shows with her consistent answers about her character and the motivations.

Can't wait to see the chemistry in action, it looks amazing. Like lightning in bottle chemistry between the two. Makes sense that Jonathan is like I'm happy to keep my clothes on this time around. I mean his behind for everyone to see was their introduction to Bridgerton and the tone that Bridgerton was setting. So he's probably happy to keep his clothes on and still tell a story.

@@OroraBorealisArts They are actually signed on for a potential of eight seasons. The show has only so far been renewed through the 4th seasons. It's highly likely it's going to get all it's seasons at this point. I expect the 5th and 6th to be announced after s3 airs.

Yep he is openly gay! But I also think he has it up and ready for Simone 😅 . I have not seen him act so passionately with other actresses ❤️❤️ I think it’s also Simone the complements him beautifully that gives it a profound impact! Haha
Just finished watching and NO! I love the actors, the costumes, the acting was A+. This is so far from the book and it is overwhelmingly a fav book. They missed such heart warming moments in their romance for arguing and angst. I could hardly recognize the story. A lazy adaptation if you ask me. It left me sad, only about 2 minutes of joy at the end. DO BETTER. You screwed up the future stories by messing up timelines and character plots.
How is it lazy? I don't get it. Lazy would be a straight adaptation that most of the audience who hasn't read the books would cringe at and shows no creativity. I hear people saying this but what I saw was a lot of hard work on the part of everyone involved including the writing team. I get that people wanted the fluffy romance they got in the book but I think we knew from watching S1 that Anthony's story was never going to be a fluffy romance. He was too broken for that to be the case.
What love triangle? Two people were BSing to everyone and pretended to care about their families. I wished that Kate left for India instead of showing up EVERYWHERE after her sister found out about her nonsense. This was like HS stuff and such a disappointment overall!
