The teacher story: even if he deleted them, the police could’ve found them. If he didn’t face jail time for having child porn, it’s prob because he did end up deleting them and it was unsolicited. Man lost his job bc of that, and that’s fucked up
@@etcetera1995 If he rejected her immediately she could of been quick to report him. Unfortunately we still live in an age where a mere accusation can ruin a mans life, regardless if its true or not, once the damage is done it typically doesn't get undone.

I was accused of being a “Karen” on a Facebook post today simply for being annoyed that people were deliberately getting too close to me even tho we legally still have to social distance because of this virus. Australia has lifted some restrictions so nearly everyone was at the shops. I was clearly in line at one shop and 2 groups of people cut in front of me because I was social distancing like we are supposed to. 1 I don’t want to get sick and 2 I can’t afford a $1000 fine. Some jerk replied to my post with a gif of a Karen with the words “screaming in Karen” under the woman. Do people seriously think that not wanting to spread a potentially leathal virus to the people I care about makes me a Karen??
Sorry to hear that. It's most likely due to the term getting popular lately. Now anytime a woman says anything that someone doesn't like she is automatically branded a Karen.
@@kateemma22 I joking tell my friends off saying that. But yeah, seeing so many people out for mothers day is a little scary and anxiety inducing. I'm not used to seeing so many people in the shops at one time
My mom used to act like a Karen, but she had undiagnosed bipolar and depression and had dealt with my druggy, abusive biological father. She's finally back to her normal loving self and I couldn't be happier.

Aquarius the god of wind and sea I think it’s just a new and rare breed of Karen, only found in the rarest biomes. Not many left in the wild and facing extinction.
I used to work in customer service and had the pleasure to encounter a Caring Karen. At the end of the call, when her issue was resolved, she asked "can I speak to a manager, supervisor, someone? Nothing bad, I just really want to tell them you did an amazing job!" And so she did. What an amazing person.
My sister is a Karen. The latest stunt she pulled was to complain that she "only" got three Christmas presents from our parents, AFTER my parents co-signed a house loan for her. She's 32 years old. The funniest thing I saw in school was when some guys in my class got hold of a 10-pack of condoms and a helium tank. Those inflated condoms flew a looooong way.
My family once went to one of our favorite restaurants, but I think they were low on staff. Everything tasted fine, but things didn’t come out at the right times and we had a bit of a wait. Right as we were leaving, my mom went up and asked to see the manager. The poor worker’s face fell and he looked terrified, but my mom quickly reassured him that it was something good. You could just see his instant relief. When the manager came over, my mom gave nothing but compliments on how amazing the staff had been every time we went there, how friendly and helpful they were, and how they generally have amazing service. The manager thanked her and said they’d been having a rough day. I love my mom for things like this, she’s an awesome person.
No way to tell when this happened, but over the years, we've also been shifting more and more towards believing the woman in the situation every single time, no matter how much evidence there is or isn't. Poor guy probably didn't even get to defend himself
@@filmandfirearms I'm a teacher, and so I know that what he should have done was report the situation immediately. By not doing anything until the police were called, it made him look guilty whether he truly was or not. I doubt that it was really a case of him being male vs a female student. It's more so that he's in a position of power over his students, and so has the responsibility to handle the situation appropriately.
17:07 actually the police can recover deleted messages if need be, which is probably why he didn't face jail time as the judge probably had to question the prosecution why a man should go to prison if he deleted the unwanted pics. If the gender's were swapped the student would be arrested and sent to juvie for distributing child porn and the teacher wouldn't get in trouble
why'd you have to turn this into a gender thing? no matter the kid's or the adult's gender, it was still a kid who was framing an adult for having child porn which the police cannot prove was just the kid blackmailing the adult.
@@ljben5405 because for some reason, in the modern day women can never be the perpretator or the man the victim in a situation like that. For example, a man cannot be a r*pe victim, according to an alarming amount of people. Nor can he be an abuse victim. So *obviously* the teacher in question had to have wanted those pics, right? Even if it is not true at all, some people will immediately jump to that. While it is definitely important to listen to someone who claims to have been a victim of something, unfortunately women seem to get away with framing men more than the other way around.
I dated a Karen for three years. She was a Karen, her mom was a Karen, her aunt was a Karen. There's restaurants in this city that she and her family can't go back to. But there was a lot of toxic shit going on between them as well... "Blood is thicker than water" (read that in your Karen voice) but at the same time, they were the cause of most of each others' trauma. It was tremendously embarrassing to go out in public with my girlfriend, and stressful, because you just never knew what was going to set her off next. It was a near-constant stream of negativity about everything. I did try to leave her a couple times, but one of the horrible things about Karens is that they have that kind of sociopathic charm they can turn on and off like a faucet. You get tired enough of their bullshit to act on it, and then suddenly they're moving heaven and earth and making all promises inbetween to get you back. It's very seductive. The whole thing finally ended when SHE was done with me. I basically dropped out of grad school and found myself living back in my parents' basement trying to get my life back in order. She picked that time to dump me, because she "didn't want to be held back by some loser." Within a year I had my new career path sorted, a stable, full time job, was back living on my own, and had just met my future wife (who is awesome! And lovely! And not a Karen!). Karen was pregnant and babydaddy fucked off all the way to his home country. I heard that from mutual friends because I stopped having anything to do with her after we broke up. It was the safest way.
A teacher found a hit list in a boy’s desk, at my primary school. He was my little sister’s ex-friend, and it was made up of dozens and dozens of names, both faculty and students. Another kid (within the same year) stabbed a classmate with a pair of scissors (he wasn’t arrested, I think).
Marcy do you live in America? If so, I hope the school took that ‘hit list’ seriously! Yes, even from a 10 year old. 10 year olds in America can sometimes have ready access to guns if their parents have them and don’t lock them up properly. 😞
dmf1301 Nope, I live in Australia. While we don’t have guns, (if I remember correctly) he was planning to get a gun licence when he was old enough (I think you can legally own a gun if you live on rural farms), and track down the people on the list. Either that or he was just going to stab them. And they didn’t take it seriously - at all. All he got was two weeks of suspension and weekly desk checks for two months.
I just recently broke up with a Chad. He felt entitled to everything!! He always saw his drug addict friends who used him as great people while he just acted like I wasn’t there. At one point we went to a pet store to look for a new pet and he legit yelled at a worker to help him. Then he left me by myself so he could go to the bathroom so I had to profusely apologize. Another time he left me alone when I didn’t know where I was going so he could walk with his friends. A strange man started to follow me and when I tried to find him and tell him, he said it was “my fault” because the way I was dressed. 🙄 funny how people can be so entitled when you literally do anything for them and love them.
Been married 30 years and am in the middle of a divorce. It never occurred to me that I might be married to a male Karen until listening to this video. I always knew it wasn’t me and he was completely unreasonable. I only put up with things this long because of our kids and the fact that I am disabled so am financially dependent on my husband altho my disability is pretty good. It is still a difficult (and terrifying) transition to make especially when I know how vindictive he is. Thanks all for the enlightening stories.

I came to say that exact thing. Police can also get messages from your cellular provider for months, possibly years depending on their servers, after the fact and hold them against you. And the way the law works in most states, with absolutely no grey area, even if you delete them seconds after receiving them police can arrest you and the courts will find you guilty if someone sends you child pictures (I won't type the actual type of the pictures, so no one can report me for saying it) even if their sole reason for sending them to you was getting you in trouble. Although I am surprised the girl in this story didn't get in trouble because according to many states she'd be guilty of distributing child pictures. There was a 9yo in my city arrested for distribution because he sent pictures of himself to a girl he went to school with and her father found out and turned him in. He ended up being on the child sex offender registry for a number of years and had to be home schooled because he couldn't legally go to school anymore.
I was going to say the same thing. Just like hard drives on a computer. Just because you delete something and 'empty the recycle bin' doesn't mean its actually gone and can't be recovered. It can be fairly easily depending on the software you're using and your experience in data recovery. This also happens all the time in photography. Photographers will accidentally format a memory card for their camera and can use recovery software to get most, if not all, the images from the formatted card.
@@Ikajo Sadly that's the law in many places - if you are sending naughty photos to a classmate, when both of you are under the age of consent, then both of you are putting the other person in the position of being guilty of possessing CP - no ifs, ands or buts.
@@JustAnotherBuckyLover That is a lot of lawyers, judges, and the people not pressing that laws are supposed to be enforced by the intent of the law, not the letter of the law.
17:05 BAD TAKE. Depending on how old he was, or the state of mind he was in at the time he could have just been like oh this is weird and just moved on. I get stuck messages and I don't necessarily think about deleting them I just go Bill gross you probably didn't think that she would do something like that. If you're sitting there working like reading papers or something, a girl sends you something like that, you reject her, and go back to doing what you're doing without thinking much of it because who expects their life to come crashing down all around them for doing nothing wrong. Forgetting to delete them does not mean that he was looking at them or doing something otherwise untoward.
17:04 The police have tools for recovering deleted files, so it is possible that the pictures could have been deleted, even immediately, and still recovered from his phone.
Yeah guys i dont know why people call me Karen all i do is make young boys give me there moms cart so i dont have to get my own food i mean like they owe it to me
the correct thing to do is go straight to the dean or principal, tell em straight, tell them right then. Call the parents in and discipline the child, you never risk that shit and you always cover your ass through the proper channels. Also a good plan to block their email so they can't send more or anything like that.
In 7th grade (middle school) I watched a bully (older kid) trying to impress a younger girl while in shop class and when the teacher walked out to go to the office, he loudly told us to Not touch the equipment. Well the second the door closes the bully got up smirking, turns on a table saw and tried to joke around...until he cut his finger off. We all laughed while he was crying. Teacher comes back and freaks out at him telling him how stupid he was. He ended up getting expelled.

17:04 I can say at least here in canada, He could still be charged with possession of child porn if he admitted to it having been sent to him if he didn't report it immediately. Unlikely he'd be prosecuted unless he kept it but would still lose his job due to the charges. Had he reported it, she'd be charged with production and distribution of child porn though so I can see why he wouldn't want to ruin her life and report it.
ruin his own life and go to prison or ruin the life of someone trying to ruin his life? the choice is obvious…he screwed up badly there and deserved to lose his job, he got lucky that he didn’t go to prison for failure to report a crime

My sister is a Mega-Karen and I dread the day anybody may consider marrying her because whatever partner she'll have is gonna be blamed for anything. They'll be walking on eggshells from fear of offending her, need my mother's level of patience (if not more), but get punished anyway for things beyond anyone's control. She's warped facts that didn't suit her, accused my mother of having evil intent or saying stuff that was never said, harassed me or my mother about decades-old matters, yelled at her dance instructor who told her this year's calendars weren't ready yet... She even physically assaulted me as a child, whenever she was frustrated or not immediately getting the attention she demanded; then played the victim if I hit back. Luckily my parents noticed, after a painful few first years, so now they side with me on altercations knowing I don't lash out at her without provocation. Still, it really messed me up being forced to be the "big bro" despite being younger, having to take charge for the person who abused me when I couldn't sustain myself.

Nikolas Urban yep. Because even if he did delete them from his phone (which he didn’t), he obviously didn’t report this girl to his superiors! SHE reported him and then the school officials went looking! Teenagers developing crushes on their teachers is fairly common. So the ADULT teachers must handle things like an adult. He should have reported this girl to his superiors IMMEDIATELY upon receipt of those pics and had her transferred out of his class, but he clearly did not. The students liked him as a teacher, I guess that’s why they defended him. But the school did the right thing in firing him and reporting him to the police. If I were the parent of that girl, the first question I would ask is HOW did she get a hold of his personal phone number in the first place?!! If he hasn’t handed out his phone number, then the girl couldn’t have sent him nudes in the first place! Then you get into the whole why did we hear about this from the child and NOT the teacher! He didn’t ask for the nudes, apparently. But he kept them and he kept his mouth shut. Huge red flag, no matter how many people defend him because he ‘didn’t ask for them’... doesn’t matter.
16:21 this story is eerily similar to one that happened at my old schools Basically, it was the middle of the day, and school buses were leaving the school because of a field trip. They were stopped at an intersection when a truck ran the red light and ran over a guy on his motorcycle. The guy survived, luckily. This was also the intersection right in front of the school.
My grandma (older brothers dad's mom) is a Karen. She always complains about *everything* when we go anywhere. It also is terrible for her husband. He is always having to do stuff for her while she smokes and drinks and watches the news in the garage. The funny thing about her is she is the head cafeteria lady at a high school. My mom's dad is a male Karen. When we go out to eat, the restaurant *has* to be the perfect temperature or else we leave. I'm 13, and everytime we go out to eat (it's usually me, him, and my two older brothers), I feel the need to stay a bit behind and profusely apologize to the waiter/waitress. Once we went to a pizza joint, and they didn't have spatulas to get the pizza slices. My grandpa stood up in the booth and then knocked his drink over and spilt it on him, my uncle, and my younger cousin. My stepdad and mom were silent, my two older brothers were snickering, and I whispered to my older cousin, "Payback is a bitch." Everytime we go to that restaurant, he brings a spatula. That was the last time my stepdad went out to eat with him

17:04 Don't jump to conclusions before knowing all the details. I don't know them either, so I can't say you're necessarily wrong, but it's possible he deleted the pictures. When a file is permanently deleted, all this means is that the file gets a header that marks it as deleted. On flash storage (which is what every phone and SD card uses), data is stored in blocks which cannot be modified. In order to modify a block it has to be copied and edited in memory before it is written into a new block, at which point the old block will either get marked as deleted and eventually removed or removed immediately. With the file being marked as deleted, it will stick around until the data blocks that contain it get modified. If this doesn't happen until the police search his phone, they can recover the deleted files. As the student apparently reported the teacher rather quickly, the data blocks may well not have been modified yet. This isn't necessarily what happened, but it's possible, so we can't know for sure what the teacher actually did.

The teacher is kind of at fault for giving out a personal email/phone number to a student though. You're not supposed to do that. He also should have gone IMMEDIATELY to the principal and/or the police the minute the pictures arrived, to explain the situation and ask what to do. The only way to protect yourself in that situation, assuming you haven't ACTUALLY done anything wrong, is to lay out all the details as quick as possible, before the story can be spun by anyone else. @@ciarangale4738 You're right, it didn't specify. But from the wording, it sounded like they were sent to his personal email, or texted to him. If the entire exchange had taken place on his school email, then it's doubtful that the school would have been able to take action against him. If it happened on facebook, he's still at fault. Even if she tracked him down, he should have blocked her the INSTANT she made contact, no exceptions. There is no acceptable reason to be interacting with your students on your personal social media pages. I say all this as a teacher who is male. This scenario is basically my greatest fear in life. My grade 7 teacher was arrested 3 weeks into the school year. The reason? He had shot his wife (She survived). He claimed it was an accidental shooting, said he had been cleaning his hunting rifle, which was loaded for some reason. It was an unregistered rifle, he had no hunting licence, and this was in Canada where we have pretty strict gun laws. No one in our class believed it was accidental. Although it was a horrible situation, we were glad that he was no longer our teacher, he gave off very weird vibes, especially to the girls in the class.
"The police wouldn't have found the pictures if he'd have deleted them" That's...not true. When a file is deleted, it's still physically on the hard drive. All that gets removed is the index listing for that file. You can pay a few quid and get software that just looks at a hard drive and simply shows the files that are on there. This is also how hard drive recovery works when a hard drive stops working. A lot of the time, it's an important part of the hard drive that's failed or broken, not the whole thing and there's generally large chunks of data that can be recovered by just having another PC look over what's actually on the hard drive. Point is, Police have easy access to this kind of thing and use it constantly. It's the modern equivalent of making sure you check the guy whose house you're searching that you check their rubbish to make sure that you find anything that they tried to get rid of. Higher level groups like GCHQ, FBI, CIA and military have access to more advanced versions of this stuff which isn't available to the general public.
Not only that, if the girl has the log on her phone of her sending them and he was the recipient then he's automatically at fault because he's an adult. I hate that obvious hole in the law.
Shewolf22 well the cops can’t find what has been deleted. He clearly didn’t delete the pics! And if he truly was ‘innocent’ he would gave reported the inappropriate behaviour from the student the minute it happened. Handed in his phone and gotten a new one. But he kept the photos and didn’t say anything about the pics until SHE did! The rest of the students stood up for him because they liked him as a teacher, I guess. But the school officials did the right thing in firing him... he’s clearly a threat to teenage girls. All these pathetic excuses don’t fly for school teachers. Their behaviour is subject to scrutiny because they should know how to handle it when teenagers are sexually inappropriate with them - which happens a lot. I had a friend in high school who had a crush on her teacher... she wrote him love letters and put them on his car windshield! It happens a lot, students developing crushes on their teachers. But since they are children, the adult teacher is the one who has to handle things appropriately.

They can find deleted pics in your phone, so even if the teacher deleted them there would still be a way to pull them up for evidence
The teacher who had child porn might have been caught because of meta data ,even if he deleted the pictures.
I was thinking the same thing. And I can't imagine that teacher would have felt comfortable pre-emptively turning that over to the police, either.
No way to tell when this happened, but over the years, we've also been shifting more and more towards believing the woman in the situation every single time, no matter how much evidence there is or isn't. Poor guy probably didn't even get to defend himself
I’m sorta concerned that you would even know the way that someone could be caught with child porn.
@@filmandfirearms I'm a teacher, and so I know that what he should have done was report the situation immediately. By not doing anything until the police were called, it made him look guilty whether he truly was or not. I doubt that it was really a case of him being male vs a female student. It's more so that he's in a position of power over his students, and so has the responsibility to handle the situation appropriately.
the general rule of thumb is as soon as you get child pronography you are supposed to call the FBI and let them know what happened.
We like fortnite we like fortnite
If you delete something and fill up your phone space, the data can’t be recovered.
why'd you have to turn this into a gender thing? no matter the kid's or the adult's gender, it was still a kid who was framing an adult for having child porn which the police cannot prove was just the kid blackmailing the adult.

I was NOT expecting a caring Karen... that was so wholesome lol

Photos can be pulled from phones even when they're deleted
@@SesshouFan22 A NINE year old ends up on a register? That is kind of insane and not in the good way.
@@Ikajo Sadly that's the law in many places - if you are sending naughty photos to a classmate, when both of you are under the age of consent, then both of you are putting the other person in the position of being guilty of possessing CP - no ifs, ands or buts.

That and the police can recover deleted files and find them if he did delete them. He's just very wrong about this on multiple levels
I actually have a friend who's girlfriend is named Karen. She is actually like the nicest person lol.

But he kept them and he kept his mouth shut.

You can delete pictures from your phone and they can still be recovered so yea teacher isnt at fault
They might still be on the sender's phone or on either person's email servers.

I say all this as a teacher who is male. This scenario is basically my greatest fear in life. He got fucked, but he also should have taken steps to mitigate his risk, and it doesn't seem like those steps were taken based on the description given. Perhaps I'm wrong, and we just don't have enough details, but that was my interpretation from the details we did get.
"It's Karen, not korean!" 😂😂😂😂
my sister is a karen but in a good way, she uses her entitlement to deal with situations i wouldnt even want to read about xD
If she only does that for the right reasons, then she isn't a Karen, she just doesn't want to be a bitch.
I am about the same way. I am willing to help people out, but do something that can harm me or mess up things for myself or others for an unjustifiable reason, I don't care who you are, I will fight you over it. I do try to keep the fights from becoming physical, but I am not afraid to throw down.
Caring Karen sounds like one of those half-vampires that use their powers to hunt other vampires and fight for good. Its nice to think we can harness our inner Karen and use that force to make the world a better place. One manager at a time.
I thought you would have done an r/entitledparents for mothers day. "I demand you give me another video TODAY. Because today is a day for MY mother. You insufferable grunt!"

That new breed of Karen I have experience with. When I still worked in fast food we had a man who was a little mentally messed up and a lady walked up to our manager and looked like she was about to go off. She takes a deep breath looking pissed and said “Give that man right there a raise I ask for things over and over and everytime he got it with a smile” best Karen I ever met
One of my sister’s classmates is named Karen! She’s 19 years old! I’ve never met the girl but according to my sister she’s a pretty decent person

Is it just me or did that Woman talking about the "Fecal Phantoms" never getting caught feel like she was boasting about it like it was her? lol
I thought the same thing!

"The police wouldn't have found the pictures if he'd have deleted them"
That's...not true.
12:32 omg why are you so bad at uk places lol!?!?

With the teacher getting fired for pic even if he deleted them the cops could have found them sooo it makes not difference
@@dmf1301 Deleted files aren't erased and gone forever. Anything can be recovered.
dmf1301 cops can recover things that have been deleted I don’t understand why you are trying to stand up for that girl she is clearly the one in the wrong there is a difference between sending love letters and sending pictures of herself nude
@@dmf1301 uh.. you DO realize that when you delete a message, you merely remove it from your message feed, right? The sender stil has everything...
Not to mention even if you both delete those messages, they're usually preserved on a data server somewhere.
I wonder if that girl has ever heard of the saying, "DONT WEAR EARRINGS DURING A FIGHT".
Apparently not at the time before she did that, lol. That's like rule number 1 I thought everyone knew. I guess she knows now though..
No, don't fight when you're wearing earrings.
I’ve never seen anything f* up in school, BUT I’ve heard stuff!
In my freshman year of high school, a pregnant girl brought a knife to school to stab the girlfriend of her baby daddy, the girlfriend kicked the shit outta the pregnant girl, oh, and did I mention that this baby daddy was in jail, NOT juvenile hall, but JAIL! Also there were MULTIPLE shooting/bomb threats, and a transfer student that had sex with her dog… oddly, this was the only year anything like this happened, it’s like we got all the wild stuff that was supposed to happen over 4 years jammed into one semester, but I guess there _was_ that fight club behind the school in my junior year-

No, they can usually get deleted shit like that back. Even if he did delete them, it's entirely possible that the police could've recovered them from his device.
The police can easily find deleted photos Especially ones sent over text.
17:00 Just "deleting" doesn't delete something. IDK exactly how you could scrub a phone clean short of physically destroying it. FBI etc. have special software tools they can use to find stuff like that, not to mention that the phone company's servers have similar backup.
ETA: Also he might have saved them to (ironically) defend himself in case she made trouble. "See? She sent them to me, unsolicited."

My mom was a bit of a Karen. When I was a kid she’d make waitresses cry every time we’d go out complaining about the smallest inconvenience while being extremely picky about her food even if they brought food she could eat she’d complain about something when I got older I made sure I never complained to offset her and “forgetting” something inside to give extra tips to the waitress while apologizing for her. Like one time I had raw meat like actually raw and said nothing because they had to deal with my mom.
The uncle who said "why stop now" nice zinger🤣😂👍
