  • Ridgid makes good tools, and this one is no exception, I think I paid 4 dollars or less for this RIDGID 14" pipe wrench, and it was not the best, but it looks new now and works with ease, what you all think!

I can't say I have seen too many of that style. That came out. Clean and nice. Nice combo on the finish.

Looks great DJ. I was taught to keep my tools clean and maintained also. I guess that's why i have almost every tool i have ever bought in the last 40+ years.

Have you ever thought of how much money those tools have saved you or made you, sometimes it makes me think about what my tools do for me and I don't think much about it and just use them they are just there when I need them!!!! hope that does not sound stupid?

@djstoolrestorations it doesn't sound stupid at all. It sounds very logical to me

Use Chevrolet engine orange for a close match to the original color. Skip the bluing and just use light oil on the unpainted parts. I have my dad's old Rigid tools, and they still look good after 50 to 70 years of use. My dad was a journeyman pipefitter and plumber.

I will try that paint color when I run out of what I have, my dad was also a plumber, I could have grandfathered in but went into general construction, how life turns!!!!!!!!!!

I totally agree with you I do not know why in the modern age that we have That they don't put the denatured alcohol in a plastic container And sell you a screw on nozzle so you can you know pour it into whatever you need I think they put it in that metal container Just so they can get you to buy more of it
