North Pine dam or Lake Samsonvale can be fished in the Pine Rivers Fish Management Association boating access area you will need a boating permit off them. If you have a paddle craft you can 100% red claw over the other side of the Dam without a permit. If fishing with a fishing line in any QLD sips dams and lake's then you will need to buy a sips permit online. I hope this helps you out?

Just wondering about the need to buy a permit for NPD. Does that apply to red claw traps or only fishing?
