Something that I noticed was I didn’t see any cobwebs anywhere and I agree that somebody must have been squatting there, I didn’t see any dust that is always in an abandoned house. Things just seemed off somehow. I don’t think I would have spent as much time in that house as you did!! Something wasn’t right!! Also I thought that the Santa Clause was lit up , was it? Or was that my imagination? Anyway kudos to you for the exploration. I watch a lot of abandoned house explores and those are just some of the things that I observe. Be safe on your explores and God Bless you 🙏🏻♥️
@florawest9333 you're right, no cobwebs, very little dust, but the biggest thing for me was the smell of cigarette smoke. It didn't smell like a smoker's house so much as it smelled like someone was in the house smoking while I was walking around - weird. Thanks for watching - Paul
Just a thought - I wonder if the house is a remnant left from either the logger boom, or perhaps it was used by the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) as remote lodging for their workers - especially if the camp was too far to go home every night. Just guessing lol......
@colleenhelminiak1429 - Thanks for the comment. The house wasn't that far away from a pretty heavily traveled road, but it was in the woods, and off the road enough where you couldn't see or hear traffic. I'm sorry if I gave the impression that it was deeper in the woods then it truly was. The house is now gone. It was leveled about a year ago with all of the contents still inside. All that's there now is a grassy field where the house once stood. Thanks for watching - Paul
I don't like new houses they are slapped together cookie cutter houses. No character. Old houses are built well and have so much character. Breaks my heart this house is gone💔💔💔
@janecarolhogue3140 I completely agree with you. At least I'm happy I got in there to see it before it got bulldozed. The property is just a big grass lot now. Not even a tree on it! Thanks for watching, but sorry this one made you sad - Paul
@@dirtsandandrocksThat is super sad. What a lovely, peaceful yard. All the birds singing. It also made me sad to see that afghan. Someone spent so many hours making that, and its fate was to be abandoned with the house.
@@tanyaredfield - I totally understand and can relate to your comment about the afghan. There were family photos on the refrigerator that I cut out of the video. Where are those people now? That was probably the saddest part for me. Thank you for watching - Paul
@jackiephillips7854 - you're right! And I met the person earlier that day. I just didn't put 2 and 2 together at the time. Anyway, the house is torn down now and the squatter has moved on to some other spot. Thanks for watching - Paul
@nancypierce8380 Whhhaaaaattttt?!?! I'm happy I didn't see anything in real time, because that house was making me nervous as is. Thanks for watching - Paul
@ameliatoreson1590 unfortunately it was bulldozed put in a dumpster and is now completely gone. People just don't seem to like old houses these days - sad. Thanks for watching - Paul
Cool looking property! I was waiting to see some ghost or other spirits. Interesting video.
Hi Santa!!
