Starke player here. GG again. @12:15 Felt like I had to wrath the board because of the Pilferer/Skullclamp combo potential, glad to hear I wasn't being too paranoid. I only bring Starke to cEDH, because I feel like bringing hard control with combo wins doesn't fit most other games. It is fun to join random cEDH games with it, and have people realize mid game they need to remove Starke before they can win.
Lol yeah man its good stuff. I think waiting on the scrap mastery might have been a good idea until you could have been sure about a win. I was very stuck at that point and the scrap mastery did so much for me, you might ahve been able to ride things out for another turn...maybe?
@@CommanderReplay Yeah maybe I could have, I didn't have removal for the constructs and Urza had lethal, so I was at the mercy of the board which I didn't like. I was thinking I had the mana to wheel again, cast Underworld Breach, then go off with the Wheel/LED in the graveyard. Also have Gamble for an increased chance. Fun game though, glad the blue decks didn't win.
Love that we got Gerard, then Zirda and winota in the same year, now Koll. And none of them say "draw a card" and they're just as crazy as Thrasios, Najeela etc.

I'm trying to brew him as a casual ETB commander since all I saw everywhere on the internet was the combo brew of Koll and thought people really lacked imagination on all the possibilities this little dwarf offers! The brew at to moment feels more like a control deck, but I want to try a token strategy or even a warrior tribal maybe.
