So does , Dr. Philip Boyce, Jose’ Tyler, Nils Pitcairn, Garrison and Fisher. The damage is done and they retconned her character. Instead of a red head. She is now a alien with spikes.
Could someone explain this channel to me? This is not BTS footage of the Cage from 60 years ago. What is the content being published on this channel? Is this gonna be some sort of fan remake of some olr Trek show? I need context about this entire channel.
It's my understanding it's some kind of new immersive content produced for/by the Roddenberry Archive. This actress looks so much like original Colt actress Laurel Goodwin.
@@joshuabekel9700 I think it's a good idea to update it a little bit. The colors selected in the original show were picked out, because color was new, color TV was JUST becoming a common thing - so everything is garishly colored, and it was expected most people would be watching on black and white television. The colors were intense partly because of how bad color televisions were at the time. I think that's the only thing that really would benefit from being updated. Some guy did a CGI re-imagining of the bridge, replacing all the consoles with something that would be more inline with what you actually with have for technology. It looked great. A lot of the reason the original show looked the way it did, was simply cost and budget. They would have done better had they had the ability. Still, I like the original aesthetic, but having it updated a bit, I think would be great.
@fuzzywzhe I love LOVE love TOS. I thought the original aesthetic still works. It looked great in Trials and Tribblations and In a Mirror Darkly parts 1 & 2. A slight upgrade I can deal with. Discovery and Strange New Worlds are much too modern and out of scale. Took me completely out of these shows. Well, that and Discovery ripping off TOS's greatest hits.
Please please make a Star Trek continues , it’s obvious you have a re-created Leonard Nimoy, we don’t need flashy graphics or woke ideology or shaky cam shots we want the original that always worked
@Ziplock9000 I can't recall the name of this actress. But, she's a dead ringer for Laurel Goodwin, who portrayed Colt in "The Cage". Sadly, she passed in February of last year.
It's really impressive how much she looks like the Colt character.
She may not even be an actress, perhaps just a model. She is very pretty and it's impressive how similar she looks to the original actress.
She needs to be in Star Trek Strange New Worlds or Short Treks.

She can do better
No shes doesn’t. Those shows are garbage.
This is right where she belongs. In more of this right here.

@AlphaTrion92 what it does reinforce, to me, is the fact the original TOS aesthetic still works. None of this all designs NEED to be updated nonsense.

Who is playing Yeoman Colt?
Mahé Thaissa
Unusual strong female urges
Unusually* strong female drives* is the exact quote
engendering unusually strong male drives. in me.
@@Interstellar-in5wb This line cracks me up every time. Those Talosians really knew how to describe a horny nymphomaniac :)
So the notes say Aug 22 Red 8k Helium which is a type of screen capture camera. I'd say we might see this in S2 of SNW
I'm confused. Wasn't she in TOS?.. but it looks modern and uses green screen.. what?
The original pilot with Pike. She represents Yeoman Colt. This is all new CGI for the Roddenberry Archive.
@Joshua Bekel Yes the pilot thanks. Identical

@@joshuabekel9700 Indeed. Oh, very sad. Thanks
