Dude, watch out, you're on the left side of the road : O
this is in the uk
Corvettes look fast standing still
Agreed!
The video points up 1 "problem"-the directionals can stay on for a long time unintended, nothing wrong with them, but you move the wheel so little that it can take quite a while for them to cancel, I have to remember to do it myself often. For me, quite easy, as I spent a lot of miles on a motorcycle where one has to anyway, but I still sometimes forget-I have a C4.
Do y'all call the turn signals directionals up north? Great point though, I mess that up all the time.
@@noahmcclure2515 We often use either term interchangeably hereabouts, leastways aroun my doahyard Ayuh! (all expressions often used by my grandparents )
On any motorcycle you can cancel directions anytime by a simple push, no?
The only thing missing is a tag that says diggler 1 on it!!
What I’m dash stereo are you using
Old American cars. I revere them so.
man you mess me up im like DUDE THE CAR YOUR ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD I KNOW ITS A 70s CAR BUT DONT DO DRUGS INLESS THERE FREE
I think they’re in a different county where it would be the correct side of the road
@@User-yi9sd ya i think there in the uk
@@knuckleberry4720 I have a suspicion it is Warwickshire in UK.
fred grove Nearly! We are based in North Yorkshire 😎
what does the 3 2 1 on the gearshift indicate, is it not automatic? How do they differentiate and change the drive?
TH350 3-speed automatic transmission.
Grandpa 3 = D ,but if you want faster acceleration you go 1 2 3
I love that it is automatic (idk how to drive manual) how much does it cost
Fax bro I’m 15 thinking of getting a cool car and saw that this was automatic cause most of the cars I like are manual and I was like sick and it’s like 8kto20k on condition
hell no don’t buy an automatic .... old automatic transmission systems were realllyyyy slow (2.8 times slower than manual transmissions)
plus they even got stuck most of the times
@@p4rvussy101 From 1964 to 2012, General Motors built one of the most enduring transmissions of all time: the Turbo-Hydramatic. The TH400, in particular, has found homes far and wide, from the U.S. Army’s fleet of HMMWV rigs, to Ferraris, Jaguars and Jeeps.
Thus, it only stands to reason such a durable transmission like this three-speed automatic find a home in the then-new C3-era Corvette. The TH400 appeared first, followed by the lighter TH350 in 1969. The 400, though, could handle the highest torque loads the big V8s had to offer in the waning days of the muscle car.
The steering wheel is not original
Marvin Martian Who said it was original? Don’t worry about an after market steering wheel and enjoy the video! 😂
Nor are the mirrors, I think
@@62Roentgen mirror is stock.
why get an auto? its a vintage deserves 4 speed manual
william gomez many American muscle cars back in the day were autos
Bloody wrong side of the road
