This and Total Air War were my favourite combat flight sims. It's such a shame that new campaigns couldn't have been created and the sim updated as time advanced. It was full of little quirks that once you learned you could use to complete your mission, for example if you were out of weapons and out of fuel, you could land at the nearest allied airbase and as you rolled to a halt your weapons and fuel would be magically replaced. Great stuff!
I LOVED this game. Couldn't finish the penultimate AWAC's mission. I think you had to scort some different planes or something like that it was truly hard
This was my most favorite mission, and aslo it was the first mission i played when i took a look by someone else who had the game, After that i got the game my self and played the shit out of it

"Very well, we create extremely realistic simulators, with which the kids by playing them will be able to better develop their mastery with aircraft: here are the EF2000 and F22 TAW". Some time later, the Pentagon: "These simulators are too realistic, our enemies study them and also train their pilots with them." "Very well, from now on we will only create simulators of Soviet and 4th generation aircraft, in isolated contexts, and with fictional and unrealistic avionics and armament, so the enemy cannot study our weapons and tactics.... The world will soon forget about EF2000 and F22 TAW"
Unfortunately i tried to play this game and TAW on a pentium 3 with win98 but it bas some weird issues with registration that crash the game after i launch it the second time
@damsonn never noticed such option ... But how it can help with the issue ? I wish I could upload the error it give me . Even when I'm in the option menu and change something and then press ok to go back the main menu it crash
This was the most complete Air Theater war simulator I have ever seen. I hope someone do an update of the game with actual Graphics Standard.

You stay in Emcon 1 as long as you can. Regardless, is there any community online that still plays this? I played this from 1998 to 2004 non stop.

When installing disable the MIDI music. Maybe this will help.

@@lironk1During installation you can disable MIDI music - IIRC there was an option to tick on/off.

@@lironk1I remeber it crashed at 2nd run when I left the music on, though it was on Windows XP.
