Damn sight cost more than a 3 year old used flagship bow… the new Mathews bow itself is under $1500 but if you were to actually buy the entire system it cost more than a top of the line crossbow or custom rifle without the resale value 😂… I think it came out around $3,500… that’s a no from me dog! Maybe if this crypto rockets to the moon, about the only way I could afford to spend that stupidly on something like that

You know Chris. I’ve been a big fan for years and absolutely love the channel and what you do for the archery community. But I believe constructive criticism does help some in one way shape or form. And I think personally you should really stand up for the normal blue collar worker who has a love and passion for bow hunting. We all know this is sight is just the tip of the iceberg with the pricing snowball in the archery world and someone with a voice in the industry like yourself should stand up for the 98% of us consumers that are paying for this stuff out of our own pocket

All the gripes and negativity but went on the Mathews website yesterday and they were already out of stock. It’s not for everyone I understand but my only real hobby is bow hunting so I’ll have one because it’s a very good sight. Make a double or triple pin vertical that you can actually move the pins and set to 20-30-40 please.

Why are you looking to buy a *new* accessory for a tool when you’re on a budget? Rice and beans, as Dave Ramsey would say. Sell your iPhone while you’re at it. The sight doesn't even lock in place with the brake on according to Nate on Average Jack Archery. Maybe he had a faulty one? I hate horizontal pins. It's the $700 price tag, however, that's the real kicker. Those who promote overpriced products lose my respect fast. If there's one company I don't want to support in the archery world, it's UV. What's a Mathews bow with all new Mathews accessories going to cost these days? I heard MFJJ say it's pushing $3,500.

I just can’t wrap my head around this. As he said, archery sights can be over engineered, and these certainly are. You are paying engineering pricing for these. There’s a million components. The scope doesn’t shoot the bow for you.
I just held this sight in my own hand, it's cool, light and PLASTIC and the pins are super dim and fiber is exposed (unarmored) it's in my opinion a 150 sight...
What’s wild about the bridge lock compared to dovetails inserted into the channel is you no longer have the ability to chose to run your sight closer or further from riser. Now you only get close.
Im actually considering just dropping Chris Bee from my subscribe list, just for having his hand in this sight retailing and pusing to his viewers just having streamlined accessories isnt worth more than the bow itself especially a sight thats OVER half the price of the bow. Just outrageous bro

$3500 + tax for a decked out lift x is up there, I just bought 2 brand new oldy vintage bows the V3X 29 in the box for $1450, I'll have to wait a couple of years for this one, looks like a nice bow.
You indicated that the fiber is better and you talk about being in the dark. My problem with the 1.0 was shooting in daylight in the snow and the pins were “overpowered” and I couldn’t see them well. Is this situation fixed?
As I don't prefer Mathews Bows. So I just purchased the PRUF for my new 2025 Bow. UV seems to have shunned all other customers from purchasing the new Slider. Don't understand that marketing strategy.

I love that UV exists and is creating cool products. However, between the deficiencies detailed by Nate at Average Jack Archery paired with the absurd pricing for some UV products, this sight is not only not the best sight but also not worth the money.
Instead of shooting out to 60yrds to get a tape since it’s hard for me to see that far. Can i just shoot 20, 30, and 40 since I don’t plan on shooting past 40 and make a mark on the set up tape and find the tape that’s closest to those 3 marks??
All the other influencer like elkshape and PJ riley started to talk about how dim the pin were on the original version but none of you guys said anything about it during your original review, everyone says how great it is and now everyone start to change their tune trying to push this sight… yet the pin brightness is still worse compare to the other companies and it goes for 700 dollars… how can we trust reviews from people who have a financial interest in pushing these sights?
I don’t understand why’d you want a 5pin sight on a slider? Doesn’t that kinda defeat the purpose of it being a slider? I always thought the point of a slider was so you could have few pins for less confusion.
Does the new head fit on the OG sight? I like the smaller housing with more pin fibers, hopefully you can get it separate if it does fit the old sight.

Overpriced not worth the money. The wheel does not fully lock. The led light does not turn off automatically with time. The improvements made are modest but should be a $300 sight.
Think about this, I can buy a $200 Vortex scope that carries a lifetime warranty, which I’ve had to use in the past. Vortex overnighted me a replacement set of Binos and ask I send the bad pair back after I got off my hunt. I know this is different since it’s archery, but what are they UV willing to put up for that price? Totally overblown. If you bought a new lift and all integrated accessories you’re looking at 3k…..absurd. I’ll never buy another Mathew’s again. Everything this year is a flagship.
i never bought a UV sight and I will never buy a Mathews/UV sight. AXCEL sights are far superior and we can add whatever scope fits our objective. I am a multimillionaire.... if you spend $700 dollars on a bow sight, you better be richer than I am lol....
