They're GREAT singers, even behind the playback!
They speak every language you can imagine. Just watch The Intelevator
God I love these guys. They're so genuine and humble. It's like those kids on RUclips who have a hit and suddenly get all this recognition and they get really excited, its the same for these guys except with local vs. international recognition. And the fact that they let us hear their actual singing, and talked about the absurdity so openly etc (plus bringing Calle a t-shirt) - they don't seem like celebrities seperate from us, they seem like our friends telling us about this mad trip they had.

They burned the American entertainment industry in a few interviews when they returned to Norway. They had a contract with some American producers that they made a pilot with, but the way the industry works in America put them off. Ironically they found it “communist” and lacking freedom with too many limitations, too many investors who wants to have a say in what the product should be, because money, meaning profit rules and law suits are so prominent in the USA. If a dancer has to take a pirouette, there needs to be a person present with a certain title who, if the dancers gets hurt, the production company has their back covered vis a vis the insurance company etc. Their strategy soon became: let’s make sure the pilot gets so crappy nothing will come of it. Then we can go back to Norway and create our own stuff on our own terms, something we actually enjoy making. In Norway the bottom line in their contract with the producer was: you get this amount of money. Make whatever you want! We trust you.

It's funny how you Americans say he's blonde :) In Norway we would say that he has brown hair, while blonde is when you are have completely yellow/white-ish hair! Probably because we have lighter hair in general and need several names for it :)
