awesome! this might be the exact solution I need. I just planted my mom's garden (she's 72). The garden is way too far to run a hose. My stepfather was watering it with a tank on a tractor, which mom can't do. But I can fill barrels on the weekends, and let her operate a soaker hose during the week. Thanks for that solution!

Hi Billy. You should get water from your tap. As a rule of thumb you get 1/2PSI per foot of drop. You can check our our gravity fed irrigation article for more detail about pressure guidelines www.bluebarrelsystems.com/blog/gravity-feed-irrigate-rain-barrels/ or contact us at bluebarrelsystems.com for more information.
Hi Tonym1408. The barrels are all connected underneath with our trademark under plumbing. The barrels all fill and drain simultaneously acting as one large tank. Not a barrel to barrel overflow. The spigot and drain are attached the under plumbing so you have access to every drop of water. You can see our design in the about section on our website: www.bluebarrelsystems.com

Can the rain barrel soaker hose be slightly buried in a veg garden?
For best results you are supposed to bury it under mulch.
