✔️ Hello!
How to call the Command Prompt before entering Windows - four methods.
For example, I forgot my Windows 10 login password. Now, in order to reset my password, I need to run the command line….

For the second and third methods, you need a bootable disk or a bootable USB flash drive to install Windows 7, 8.1, or 10.
It doesn't matter which version, Pro or Home.

Your Windows received an update and now to open the Command Prompt, you need to do the following: take a bootable USB flash drive for installing Windows (or a bootable DVD) regardless of the version, Windows 7, 8.1 or Windows 10, Home or Pro, and boot the computer from the installation disk.
But you do not need to install Windows, when the installation menu appears, press Shift and F10 at the same time, the command line will immediately appear:

Hey I have downloaded on 2 sticks, windows 8.1 install from microsoft and also the hbcd iso, i plug it in and select the stick to boot from my windows 8.1 but then it just goes to its normal boot. is this a stick problem? I am using rufus to convert the iso onto the stick
1.Perhaps the flash drive is not working and to check this, try booting another PC from this flash drive.
2.Often the reason is the USB controller disabled in the BIOS. You need to enter the BIOS of the computer, find the “USB Controller” (or “USB Controller 2.0”) item and make sure that “Enabled” is in front of it. If it is suddenly turned off (“Disabled”), you need to turn it on and exit the BIOS by pressing F10 and saving the changes made.

Hello, could you please help me with this issue? I initially had a big problem with the Automatic Repair screen through which I would simply not get, and I wouldn’t get into windows being stuck in a loop. After watching many videos including yours, I think I would now be able to fix it with some of the steps that you’re outlining, however after already having performed many restarts, my problem NOW is that I cannot get into the Automatic Repair- Advanced Options anymore. Can you please advise? The only info available out there, is only how to trigger the screen/the automatic repair from windows. But I can’t get into windows!
Hello, there are several devices from different manufacturers whose method of entering the OS recovery environment differs from the generally accepted ones, this could be Dell and a few others.
If you have such a device, then you need to use the name of the device to find on the Internet your way to enter the system recovery environment.
Of the methods suitable for most devices, this video shows two methods; these are the third and fourth methods.
The method of entering the recovery environment using a Windows boot disk is preferable to all other methods.
Will the second option work with a microSD card?
Yes, it will work.

Hello! If you don't need your personal files on your laptop, you can enter the recovery program and select the "Reset this PC" option to completely delete your personal files.
In the process of selecting settings, at one of the steps, select cloud file downloading, it will take longer, but this way the laptop will receive fresh Windows files from the Internet, and not from the laptop:

How fix when I don’t have any option in troubleshooting but only have startup repair
Hello ipM, I accidentally activated Windows 10 diagnostic mode via msconfig and restarted it. Now I'm at a dead end and can't get any further. After every reboot, when signing in, it says "An error has occurred and your pin is not available. Click to set up your pin again"
No matter what I do, Windows always asks for my password. When I log on to Windows 10 with my password (MS password), it keeps saying "Incorrect password".
I've restarted the PC more than 100 times for 2 days, can't get any further. My password is correct and I can use it to access my MS online account, Skype etc. from another PC, even via USB or Windows CD.
There is no other boot option in the bios. Attempting to access msconfig via cmd and other windows repair options, troubleshoot>, advanced options>, command prompt and safe mode also failed because of password. What can I do ?

what is the difference between a normal usb stick and a bootable usb stick?
The name "Regular USB flash drive" or "Bootable USB flash drive" can be given to the same USB flash drive, depending on what is stored on this USB flash drive.
A regular USB flash drive is a USB flash drive for storing information, photos, videos, documents and other files.
A bootable flash drive is the same USB flash drive of memory, but on which an ISO file or a disk image is written, for example, an ISO file of Windows 10.
With such a bootable USB flash drive, you can boot your computer and install Windows on your computer.
Hope I was able to explain what the difference is ..

@@mr.hindustaniyt8585 If you have a Microsoft account on your PC, Command Prompt will not be able to help you, because the Microsoft account password is stored on the Microsoft website and is constantly synchronized with the PC - this is done to protect your PC from intruders.
The only thing that will help you 100% is to reset your password using a special program, but this requires another PC or laptop.

what would repair do to ur pc?
Please tell us more about your problem and what you want to know.
So I guess the requirement to have a bootable CD/USB can't be bypassed?
Had a situation when my friend's laptop crashed with an Inaccessible boot device error, went into the Automatic Repair reboot loop, without being able to load into safe mode, and the password was forgotten so the command prompt couldn't be opened to run a disk check without password (and the link to reset it, as shown on 0:46, does not do anything. Something something admin rights). Tried the fourth method, but it still sent us to password. AND there was no boot USB/CD available (or a second machine to create one) because I was essentially trying to fix it over the phone. Ran out of options to do without having an install media, including changing boot options to disable secure boot (no IDE-AHCI options, though), trying to use basic repair functions, repairing from save point sent it back to the loop, and it wasn't a problem of updates but most likely a power supply issue.
And this guide is useful for when there's a boot USB available, thanks for that! But I want to know whether there is a way to bypass this, of any difficulty.
Due to the latest updates from Microsoft, it is possible that the command prompt can only be opened using a bootable Windows USB flash drive.
If you do not have such a flash drive, you can ask your relative or friend for it, or you can make such a flash drive yourself on another PC:
ruclips.net/video/3er-oSk6JPM/видео.html
An infinite reboot loop can occur due to an error in one of the steps of the process, to fix this, you need to go all the way from the very beginning - open the command prompt, open the registry and complete the process step by step.
The only thing - on one of the steps, do it differently, when you open "Setup Tupe", instead of 0, put 1, but not 2, and if I put 1 in the video, then you put 2, this should solve the problem.

For example:
I turn on the PC and so on ...
@@ipMalik i turn my laptop on and it shows the dell icon yk while is booting and after
i see a white page with title Https boot and an erro message ''Failed to instalize network connection'' and i click OK after there is another message No bootable device found i click continue and it restarts and it says same thing again and again

Please help! it's not working... After doing every thing and when i click on the commamd promt option it's asking password
Apparently your Windows has received the latest updates from Microsoft and now you need a bootable Windows USB flash drive to open the command prompt.
you can ask a relative or friend for such a flash drive, you can make such a flash drive yourself on another PC:

I also tried to find the Util.exe file but it wasn't on the primary drive.... I think it used to be connected to a WAN.
I wonder what purpose you were looking for Util.exe for?
Bro my Pc Is strange to all people
When i preesing Troubleshoot
It go to advanced settings And Only one option there..
Can someone help me..?
Please!!
It happens..
grab a bootable Windows installation stick (or bootable DVD) regardless of version, Windows 7, 8.1 or Windows 10, Home or Pro, and boot your computer from the installation disc.
But you do not need to install Windows, when the installation menu appears, press Shift and F10 at the same time, the command line will immediately appear:
paste.pics/B7LBV
then continue as in this 1:13 timecode video from where you need to write "regedit".
To understand how to do this, watch the video "4 ways to open a command prompt" and choose the one that suits you:

The first method and second method i still need a password :(
Me 2
yes I have same problem
Any way to recover the password if cmd prrompt is completely disabled and is unaccessable
I'm sorry, but due to the latest updates from Microsoft, it became possible that in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 the command prompt can only be opened using a bootable Windows USB flash drive, otherwise the system will require a password.
If you do not have such a flash drive, you can ask your relative or friend for it, or you can make such a flash drive yourself, but this requires another PC, making a flash drive will be free:

For all these tutorials, I need to reboot my PC, only issue is that there is no reboot button. Only wifi and ease of access:
You need to press the "Turn on" button and hold it until the PC turns off
Can u please share windows 10 os link

Soo I am in boot menu since it says that the problem is PC/Device reboot configuration is missing or contains error and when i choose the usb/flashdrive i downloaded the tool, it doesnt work it keeps coming back on BSoD what to do :((
Sorry, I didn't understand you, because I don't know English well, and my Google translator sometimes just surprises me ..
Please write in detail about what you are doing and what is happening with your computer.
1.What is on your USB flash drive and why do you want to boot a computer from a USB flash drive?
2.When does the error message appear and after what action?
3. Does the error message appear on BSoD?
4. You can take a photo of this error message, post it on the Internet and send me a link, for example here:

4th method doesn't work anymore, it says requires password :/
Method 4 works, but not on all computers.
For example, this method works on my computer - I have Windows 10 last updated October 2020.
Find the Windows installation flash media or DVD disc and use method 2 or 3.
What should i do if power button is not working at the same time.....? Plz help mee....

My laptop is super updated windows 10, whenever I go thru the backdoor, it keeps asking my password
What do you want - you forgot your password and want to reset it?
@@ipMalik yes, pressing f12 and going thru system image recovery way, command prompt, etc... It asks for password.
@@saffu87 Okay.
Now the question is:
Is your computer running a Microsoft account?
Or is your computer running a local account?
To reset your password, this is important to know.
@@ipMalik the same thing happens to me and Im npt on a micrpsoft account
