Dope work! You motivate me to do big plates like that. I want to do silver and gold. I’m just now learning to engrave but I’m a jeweler so I’m on the bench everyday grinding. One day I hope to be nice like this 👌
Bro. You need to upload more videos. There's this other guy whos been engraving on lowrider for almost 30yrs. And it seems that he's stuck on 1st gear. Your work looks very professional and clean.
Just got an engraver wanted to see how to use it and and it’s quite literally just like tattooing it seems so this is boutta be a breeze thank you for the informative video.
I also tattoo and started engaging. I use a micromotor but will eventually get that 400,000rpm air engraver that hes using. The vibration of a micromotor is like the vibration of a newer pen style tattoo machine. The rotary tools like dremels even with the flex shaft are much harder to control than a micromotor. You can buy a nail drill or dental drill. They are all the same thing as long as it goes up to 30,000rpm or more. I engraved one of my tattoo machines with the smallest burrs i could find and magnifying glasses.
Hello, I love your work, what machine do you do it with? Here in Argentina today there are hand lathes but they are electric, do you work with a pneumatic machine? thank you hug from Argentina
Amazing work!! I was wondering, isn’t any chance of that work to get rusty? I want to give it a try but there is a lot of moisture in this place and I’m afraid that iron plates could get rust, even if I polish them.
In the video I’m using aluminum which will oxidize however if you keep it clean it will stay shiny. Aluminum will oxidize like any other metals but it doesn’t show a rust color. Aluminum and stainless steel will be your best bet at having a finished product look without having to chrome plate it to protect it from oxidizing (rust)
Damn bro I’ve been looking everywhere for something like this.. I wish it was a lot more in depth with what your using and why. I wish I could pick your brain more bro this is something I’ve been wanting to do but no guidance or no one I can at least ask a few questions to get the ball rolling but nada …I’m gonna check out any other videos you have again mucho respecto ..
Doing all that sanding does it effect the chrome?? I’m talking like on door handles and trim around the windows. Your layout does take time, I engrave buckles and small items on SS and German silver it’s a different technique but the same in layout process. Keep up the trade you do excellent work!
A how to video would give pertinent information. You know like bits, machinery , etc. You’re absolutely talented, no doubt but nothing informative on the video. I look back through the comments and every question about equipment has gone with no reply back. So maybe a quick second for us FNG’s out here on the bits and rotary tool.
what oil can i use, or do you use to lube the surface and the tool? i remember seeing one of your videos waaaay back and was always curious. i finally got an engrave like yours and i just want to make sure that i'm doing everything right
In no way does this mean to sound disrespectful but if the music was in the background and you was talking this would be the best video on youtube for are hobby and lifestyle and next video i really hope he dose this to a motor like ive been trying to find out how its done so i could do it in my area
@@adriansifuentes4405 honnestly yea i just started to polish the metal to a mirror finnish and engrave it after and just maintain the shine with mothers mag it works cherry
Thank you for sharing. I know there’s definitely more to learn, but this gives me a great starting point!

AMazing work! May I ask what device are you using that goes in between your compressor and 850 tool?
What is the difference between the handpiece and the nitro as far as quality? I see the handpiece is way cheaper compared to the nitro or the classic

What tip do you use to do the lines? And to do the shading? Your work is bad ass!
Round carbide burs for the lines and the dremel engraver for the shading
What is the name of the paper that you use?
for some reason when i buff out the peice the buff residue gets stuck in between the lines and wont come off, any thing i might be doing wrong?
Did you ever figure out how to remove black residue? I’m having the same problem

What's up with that music?? Great video muted
Nice job, but it is not informing at all, sorry
Very clunky lines. Nothing like real artistic engravers do.
