Great demonstration on this stove. I've actually gotten 16 ounces of water, or about 1/2 liters of water to boil in under 5 minutes with a similar Lixada stove. You managed to get .8 of a liter to boil in less time than I was able to get 16 oz. of water to boil in in one of those collapsible Lixada stoves. Those are also great stoves due to how compact they fold down to, but I do prefer these wood gas stoves. I just do like you do and nestle them in a larger pot, and throw my ferro rod, fat wood, and other accessories inside of the stove for transport. Thanks for sharing.
A superb demonstration of a wonderful stove. It is good to see someone load and then top light the stove. Many give up on this stove due to starting fire in the bottom in the conventional way then adding fuel which does not get the best out of it. Thank you for sharing. Paul :)
Kijika Life You are welcome. I meant to say...add a couple of aluminium plates to sit the stove in to collect the ash. The plates weigh nothing and your solo pot can sit inside them when all is packed away :)
Bought the same stove. Fired it up for the first time today. Used the little alcohol bowl that came with it to catch the ashes. Fits inside the 775ml MSR Seagull Stowaway pot like its made for it. Extremely efficient but requires constant feeding of small sticks. My Emberlit may not burn quite as hot but it will take long sticks. Thanks for the review
You may want to check out this little stove. I am going to do a video on just the stove with dimensions and a wood burn. www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01E5EQ1SG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Ya, for the price you can't go wrong....to be honest I wasn't expecting much from this stove, but was impressed by its efficiency. Thanks for your comment !
I have seen these around a little. I recently saw a review on Mark Youngs channel looks pretty decent. Have you noticed any warping of the steel at all. I have used different brands of budget stoves and they all have warpped on me. This one looks like a winner.
None what's so ever !... To be honest I was not expecting much from this stove because of its price point, but I own the original Solo stove as well and must say that this one is every bit as efficient !!
Why can't people who are reviewing a product tell right at the beginning how much the thing costs? That way when you find out that it's more than you're willing to pay, you can immediately skip the video.
My brother just gave me a Lixada stove for my birthday. I'm very impressed with it.
So am I...they are very efficient !, Thanks for watching and commenting

Too funny, I just went back and watched your video. Never realized how similar it is to mine. Honestly brother, no plagiarism....
Lol !! There are only so many ways you can describe a stove...no worries 👍
Looks brilliant! Thumbs up and Greetings from Ireland! :)
