Mark has been with me with his fantastic music since the late 70's and I actually love everything he has done since then. He is a part of my life with his music and I am grateful for every album he releases.

You know what i absolutely love about Knofler?
My grandpa introduced to his music, as he was a very big fan aswell. Ofcourse i started off by just knowing his biggest songs like Sultans of Swing, Telegraph Road, Brother in Arms and so on... But after some time you start to develop your own taste and you dive deeper into someones music.
That brought me to this song. Personally one of my favourites. The feeling of peace and positivity that the melody alone brings is unmatchable. Knofler really got hits in every corner of his repertoire.

What is this story?
I always interpreted it as being about a guy who got himself in legal trouble and messed up his retirement dreams of living in Paraguay.
It always meant a lot to me because I had a similar dream myself.
I recently left the U.S. and moved to Ecuador.
I'm glad I made it.
