Hey Jeff, i appreciate what youre trying to do here with showing newbies how to fish. Im a newbie in some ways. A 59 yo newbie. Therefore i wanna channel where i can actually get help. I understand that you have things far more important than you tube but me, im retired and have devoted the rest of my life to learning more about fishing.
So here is my question for you sir. When i rig up a ned rig precisely like you did here, it always gets hung and i eventually have to break it off. This is why i dont have any experience to speak of with the ned rig.how do you fish it in order to keep it off the bottom and is there a way to make it snagless? Thanks man.

Great question. Sounds like a whole video in itself. Some tips.
1: if you’re fishing around a lot of brush use the weedless finesse shroomz jig head.
2: when you let it sink dont just leave it, keep a little tension so you can feel when it’s on something.
3: a lot of my snags happen because i set the hook into wood. So I became a lot more patient with my hook sets, and I try to feel whether is a fish of a rock or wood.
