    im confused about the "dont think about the "how" or the steps" but then the process is to do tasks? Isn't that what you're essentially doing?

    • @gregormckenzie_
      @gregormckenzie_  5 месяцев назад +2

      Focusing on the process involves visualizing and connecting with the journey towards your desired outcome. On the other hand the “how” refers to getting caught up in the specific details of your actions, which often results in over-analysing. They sound fairly similar so I see where the confusion comes from.

      @kkacharles3797 Год назад

      Same. Maxwell maltz explain it in a logical way and why it always work. Think and assume you are in the end result
      Human has a mind. Mind think in end results. One example used in the book is worrying. You think and imagine a false scenario that is bad and you start feeling worried.

    • @gregormckenzie_
      @gregormckenzie_  Год назад

      It is exactly the same as everything you’ll ever come across on the law of assumption, however this title gives a scientific structure as to how it works which is easier to work with when you know the “how”, similar to Joe Dispenza.

    I would like to know how the author of this video is qualified to speak on this and what actual experiences he's had that prove his hypothesis. I've read all the manifestation/visualisation stuff out there and come full circle to realise its mostly BS. Don't ask 'how' is absurd. You have to know how you're going to get somewhere. Think of it like this. You're going on a hike. To take this example and start the trek by 'just imagining yourself at the summit', don't ask how you're going to get there, "your imagination will take you there" so you throw your compass away and gps system and rely on this pretty shitty advice to get you to the summit. Next thing you know you're as lost as a politician in parliament. Pretty f'n mind blowing shit that people accept this. It's a lie. The only thing that matters and the only thing that will get you to your goals is action. Just f'n do it and stop listening to shitty advice. You'll figure it all out as you go.

    • @cwbrooks5329
      @cwbrooks5329 2 года назад +4

      @Andrew Cheshire You realize that this is a summary of the core hypothesis of a book, right? No one is trying to convince you of anything, you can take it or leave it. FWIW, there's no "hocus pocus" here. Maltz basically believed it was important to determine a goal, use your imagination to stay motivated and focused on its achievement, and to take immediate action and keep course correcting until you achieved it. There's nothing in that last sentence you wrote that's incongruent with that belief.

    • @gregormckenzie_
      @gregormckenzie_  2 года назад +2

      Hey man, Maxwell maltz has dozens of case studies of results regarding his research and techniques, do a little research on him if you’re skeptical, he was the real deal 👍

    • @FTworld656
      @FTworld656 Год назад +3

      Personally i have interpreted this message differently. By allowing your mind to have a clear goal - your brain will start to use all the information you have acquired throughout your entire life to put a plan in place to achieve said goal . First you consciously give yourself the goal ie "climb the summit" then after that your subconscious and conscious will come up with ideas to help you get there ie "take a compass and gps system" "take water, take food" "prepare for bad weather" "research the environment we will be climbing in" etc etc . But first of all you have to have that belief in your mind that your goal is possible in order for your brain to think of these situations otherwise you will never even get as far as that
      If you do not believe , then your brain will say "this wont work, lets not even try this idea in the first place incase we die, what do you know about climbing summits ?, lets try something else" then you could get scared back out of the idea to be nice and safe in the house and the idea never comes into fruition. you have to believe in your mind that if something is possible on earth then it is possible for you. Some peoples minds will say to them "you are not capable of achieving this goal" which if they do believe ,will never act on said goal. As the saying goes "if you believe you can or believe you cant then you are usually right".
      Even at the end of your sentence you have said "figure it out as you go" so you yourself must agree on some level that its not all about the "how your going to do it" but what is important is pursuing a clear cut goal with intent and moving towards it in good faith and action
      I agree you cant just wish something into existence, but i do believe if you have a goal then your full mind and being will do everything in its power to maximise the chances bringing that goal into existence.
      Once you have a goal then your full emotional state will depend on it. Once you put your goal in place and really really desire it then you will feel good when you do something that helps you progress towards your goal, and you will feel bad when you do something that moves you further away from your goals.
      The light bulb existed in Edisons mind long before it came into physical form. The question i sometimes ask myself is "did edison invent the lightbulb with his mind , or did he just discover how to make one once he presented his mind with a goal?" I think its a mix of both mental and the physical worlds coming together that bring things into being. Its a goal followed by absolute belief and absolute action that then materialises goals in the physical world.
      Thank you for coming to my ted talk all based on personal opinions ,observations and experiences, i have zero certificates or qualifications on this subject however but i do love discussing these topics and helping my thought process and articulation develop to help me refine my own beliefs and arguments.
      I feel like this entire mini essay could all have been condensed into about two sentences but im not quite Friedrich nietzsche😂
      Have a good day peeps
