That Mac line hit me so hard 😥 the regret of not talking to that person you should have been talking to and they pass away... It's freaking heartbreaking man. I've always wished Mac and G made a song together and the fact that there was a possibility is such a bummer.
I think hè also mentioned that hè feels avicii... also a Guy that really really needed that ‘talk’. Hé couldnt do it anymore (touring and Fame) and was an incredible introvert person. “I’m Dying” hè Saïd to his manager in the docu trailer, but the manager forced to do the tour even tho the doctors (he was laying in the hospital) said they wouldn’t do it......

This is one of the realest songs that I ever heard. Thank you for sharing some truth on how is sometimes the life of an an artist, drugs and loneliness are a part of this life that most people don’t talk about. Lately everyone is showing their “perfect” life on social media like there is no downside while having a negative impact on those that are comparing their real life to that perfectly shown life.

I’ve had a few relapses over the couple months, but since Feb 13th I haven’t touched anything at all, and don’t even drink, and will continue! Thank you once again!!

I struggled with meth many years ago got sober and was clean for 11 years. I fell into a deep depression along with anxiety and fell back into the life of an addict. It's something I'm not proud of but honestly it's an everyday fight, and I'll always be an addict. It's hard because any little can trigger an addict back into that lifestyle. I want to get sober again but then I think what will I do then! I hope and I'll pray that you can find a higher power that will help you outta of this. I've been really going through it, and listening to this song along with Mac Millers music has given me comfort. My mom isn't my biggest fan nor do we have a good relationship. But keep your head up. I'm just afraid I don't get any meth cut with that fentanyl shit. God bless you. I'm trying everyday towards my sobriety but it's like eminem said in his song drugs really got ahold of me. Take care

Been with g since 2013-14 ish, same age both in the game, he is on another level of course. But as an artist, I can feel and understand some of what he is talking about. You meet thousands of people a year, yet no one really knows you for who you are they are only there because of your fame and talent, which can leave a person feeling not human.
I feel like a lot of g's real fans are kids who suffered trauma as kids, I feel like he is not only numbing the trauma from fame but from his childhood. I respect the openness of this record, and how he shows the people everything at the top aint sweet, and how it actually leads him to be more depressed. Thanks for this song, I relate so much in my own way have my own struggles with addiction.

I got caught up in life and recently came back to his music to see how he was doing going back to albums and this album hit different cause its like the tarot card The Hanged Man I felt this album more right now than I did before and appreciate him for opening to his fans whether we accept him or not he really is doing it for him. When I was listening to the album as soon as it dropped for me I had to stop after listening to this one for a moment. I don't think that any song ever made me cry and feel like this one. The story G is telling here, pain in his voice. He's real, so honest and so transparent here.
