    Another great video and I loved your idea of putting QR codes in pictures of locations to show a video of what you did in that location! It was such a creative way of doing that.

      Im glad you like it! I thought it was a really neat idea too. It may not be practical in all situations but if you have a real robust and mature smarthome this would be a great addition.

      Do you use Tasker? If not, I recommend it. I don't even use all it's capabilities...

      @@PatrickBulteelyes, I have Tasker but I'm not using it for anything currently. Previously used it for an NFC tag automation but I moved that over to Home Assistant.

    We are often creatures of habit, doing the same thing at a given time or when when triggered by an event. Observing these habits is a good way to give you ideas for automations. Enjoying your content Thanks!

      I agree. This approach works for the majority of cases but I am finding that when the exception case arise these automations show their fragility.

    Awesome video, but you'd be surprised of what Android can do with Tasker

      Curiously, I migrated all the logic from my phone into Home Assistant, and exposed everything via scripts and the native REST API.
      The reason? What you described in the video: no one has a phone configured as mine

    That’s great. Thanks for listening our requests :) … anyway would be interesting then to see frigate + double-take + compreface 😉

      @technithusiast  10 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for the compliment and feedback! I haven’t heard of doubled-take or compreface. What do they do?

    • @myraelix
      @myraelix 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@technithusiast compreface is a face recognition project which supports both CPU and GPU, double-take instead allows to combine compreface with frigate (you can easily assign a name to a detected person from the UI and see these information in HA through entities).
      They can both run in docker containers :)

      @@myraelix thanks I’ll take a look at it 👌🏾👌🏾
