Hi, great info. Just wonder.... is it ok to have only one ip address? would a management ip address be enough for a lab... or why did not you added an additional interface?
Hi Asahel, first off thanks for watching. Yes it is ok to only have 1 address and this is how most ISE deployments are set up. I created separate interface as I was hoping to use this for PxGrid comms between this and firepower.
Did your ISE really fly that quick, holy crap. What kinda hardware you running?
Hi, thanks for watching. This was on my workstation pc, it has a i9-10980xe with 128gb ram. I’ve since stood up a server and installed eve bare metal on it, I’ll be making some more videos shortly on this with some more labs to follow.

@@gd2860 yes, I’ve purchased a new microphone and webcam since the last videos and built a new office. I’ve had a break from videos due to family and work commitments but I want to ramp it up this year.
Is there a way to keep the image saved with the latest settings? Everytime I need to start ise node it asks me to run the setup.
Hi, yes. It’s the commit command. I’m sure I run this on the video once the setup has been completed
Nice video, but I think you forgot to remove the CD ISO and to fix the permission at the end with this commands:
rm -f /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/ise-2.7.0/cdrom.iso
/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions

Hi Steven, you can get an evaluation image if you have a cco account with Cisco that has an ISE contract. Or you can sign up for the Cisco modelling labs
Is anyone else having an issue where they have to set up Cisco ISE in EVE-NG every time you start EVE-NG?
Hi Daniel, I can’t say that it happened to me. Are you talking about installing or the initial setup of ip address etc?

You should only need to enter setup on first boot, during the setup process you specify the username and password

Hi, thanks for watching. Are you running any other devices in eve or is this you first? If so check that you have enabled virtualisation on eve within hyper v. Check my setting up eve video for guidance on this.

Hi @abdulaziz please check the location and spelling of the cdrom.iso file. See around 2:30 on the video for the correct location
