- For this video I am going to be unboxing the latest Warner Brothers collector's edition release of Enter the Dragon on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. Even though I haven't watched the movie as of yet I will briefly talk about what I've seen when it comes to the 4K transfer.

I pre ordered this a while ago and didn’t realise it was limited to 3000 copies. Enter the dragon is the greatest martial arts movie ever made, I must have watched this hundreds of times over the years and never get bored of it.
It's a strange thing because it does say it's limited to 3,000 copies but having said that Amazon UK Zavvi and HMV are selling it so I don't know how true that is. Maybe each of them got 1000 copies. Cannot wait to finally check it out and going by the picture quality and sound I know I'm going to be in for a treat One Way or Another
Completely agree regarding way of the dragon. That end fight scene is so cinematic and still to this day one of the best movie fight scenes filmed. Enjoy the other movies!
I enjoyed a lot of the fight sequences in the big boss but my god nothing comes remotely close to the Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee Encounter. Never seen anything like it. Hopefully there will be some great moments in Enter the Dragon similar to that fight sequence
Beautiful edition. One of my all time favourite movies, and i already have 2 editions of it, so didnt need this one. It's simply the greatest martial arts movie ever made👍👍👍
I'm almost certain this version is sold out but Amazon Italy are selling almost the exact same edition only for the Steelbook is different so if you are interested check out Amazon Italy and I think it's going at a good price aswell
Great to hear you are enjoying Bruce so far Keith. Ive already watched this twice since getting the standard 4k edition. Kinda wish I got the limited edition one but as I only got it to replace the disc in the box set I wasnt too bothered.
Its just such an amazing film. Lets just say, Way of the Dragon is Bruce's 2nd best film 😁
Hey Chris. I'm almost gonna treat Way of the Dragon as a pallet cleanser for Enter the Dragon. I haven't heard one single bad comment made against Enter the Dragon and that alone is a testament to how amazing this movie is going to be. I really do hope it lives up to the hype but if Way of the Dragon is anything to go by I know I'm going to have a great time with this movie. I have a funny feeling a lot of people have done what you've done and picked up the standard release and throw it into the arrow Video edition. Thank you as always for stopping by

Great unboxing Keith. I’ve just uploaded my own steel book unboxing video today also. Enter The Dragon is my all time favourite film. Looked and sounded amazing when I watched it at the cinema a few weeks back. The volume gets turned up to 11 for the big battle at the end. I’ve heard people says the bitrate isn’t great on the 4K disc. Warner put both full versions on it and didn’t use seamless branching. Maybe they will do a two disc version in the future who knows. That glue on the j-card was a nightmare to get off. Thankfully didn’t damaged anything removing it. Enjoy the film when you get around to watch it.
I can't really comment too much when it comes to the 4K picture because I haven't seen enough but what I have seen was massively impressive particularly the audio. I was not expecting a Dolby Atmos soundtrack on this release and from the sounds of things it's very welcome. Yeah the J card was an absolute nightmare but thankfully just like yourself nothing has happened to mine but they're really need to come up with a better way of attaching these J cards onto these sets. I would have been devastated if I ripped any part of this release because the presentation is astonishing. Thank you so much for checking it out and I will stop by and check out your video. Keith, it`s really someting, that you have givin Bruce Lee a chance. He was King,and the Golden Harvest box, is one of the best box sets out there. Enter The Dragon is a legend of a movie. The little box is lovely. Thank you for the super review . Your love for movies is just fantastic, my love for movies came from my dad, who passed away in 1997. He was also irish,and i miss him so. Way of the Dragon is by far Bruce Lee's best film.
Yeah like I said in the video I had such a great time with that movie and it's hard to believe that Enter the Dragon could be better than it but I will have to wait and see

Way of the dragon was amazing but this movie will blow your mind keith 😮 saw it at the cinema when it was originally released & i've watched it on every format since, his fight scene's in it are breathtaking. You're in for a treat as a first time watch👍
I cannot stress to you how excited I am to finally see Enter the Dragon and not just see it but see it in the best possible way with this breathtaking 4K release. I've said it a few times tonight but I know I am going to love the movie it's just a question of how much I'm going to. Way of the Dragon was spectacular and it's going to take something very spectacular to outdo that movie but I think Enter the Dragon is up for the challenge. Thanks for the heads up my friend

Watched the new 4K restoration of Enter the Dragon at Prince Charles Cinema in London last month. The movie has never looked or sounded so good. 👍🏻👍🏻
Life long Bruce Lee fan but that was the first time I had ever watched any of his movies at the cinema.
Like I said in the video I have no history when it comes to this movie but going by what I've seen it definitely looks like the best the movie has ever looked and sounded. Really looking forward to checking it out for the first time
@@millerman9991 - If you were impressed by The Way of the Dragon, wait until you’ve watched Fist of Fury. That movie has some of the best martial arts of any Bruce Lee movie.

Watched it in the cinema as well. Amazing experience seeing Bruce on the big screen. I remember they played Enter the Dragon in a night club once. No lie, all the guys were glaring at the small screens showing the film instead of chasing women. Me included. Absolute timeless classic 😅👌
I was never into martial arts movies as well, you sold me on it with the arrow box set review... I can't wait to get my Enter the dragon UCE tomorrow and watch it.
Well thankfully the gamble has paid off on that arrow Video box set because I've had a great time with it and I'm hoping to have an equally good time with this edition of Enter the Dragon. Great to hear that you picked it up yourself and it will complement that other boxset quite nicely

Hey Keith, Nice set I have the US steel book which is the red cover. Unfortunately it only comes with the movie no special feature disc.
I hope they’re not building this movie up too much. It is probably his best, but the big boss, and first of fury are really good ones as well.
I was able to pick up the film vault version of the Shawshank redemption. Unfortunately, the jaws was sold out. Really looking forward to getting my hands on it. Going to keep an eye open for 2001 have a great one as always.👍

Gutted that I slept on ordering this release, I looked on ebay and probably half of the 3000 are on there, cant justify paying over the odds for it and putting money in the scalpers pockets. Great unboxing as always 👍🏻
There is another version of this on Amazon Italy and I think it's going quite cheaply as well. The only difference is the Steelbook. The Steelbook that you get on the Amazon Italy 1 is the same as the main artwork on my one. Definitely look into it because the Steelbook does look amazing

Another great video. I have just the standard 4k release (with slipcover...that's a fancy as I get lol )...but I love this film. So much so me and my friends once recorded our own dvd commentary track ha ha I'm sure you will love it. And be humming/whistling the fantastic Lalo Schifrin theme tune in no time 😂
Again I'm very excited and I'm hoping the movie lives up to the hype because there is so much surrounding it at the moment. I can safely say it's the best the movie has ever looked just going by the few minutes I checked out and I think I was right to leave it till this release instead of watching the blu ray on the arrow Video edition. I knew you'd like that lenticular card Keith. It is a film I'm sure you'll enjoy. We were lucky to get it being a 50th anniversary limited set. You were unlucky not to get 3000/3000. I think someday one of us will get last number.
Hey Steve. Yeah it was a no-brainer that I was going to love the lenticular card on this one and it does do quite a bit. So close to 3000 and I would love to see it happen someday
@millerman9991 I'm still happy with a different steelbook to the hardbox but the other steelbook a little better. What would you have thought of our steelbook as the hardbox with the red steelbook? I'm still happy to have that great red design as the main display box.
@fourlights yeah I have to admit if they flipped it around where we got the red Steelbook and the Steelbook had the outer box I think I would have been well happy with that. Having said that I didn't realize you can buy the red Steelbook on its own so I think I might splash out on it if it goes down in price
Great review Keith. If you want to see Bruce at his charismatic best, for me it's got to be the cavern scene later on in the film. Absolute cinematic dynamite. Before this film, the big screen fights were like the old western, 1 big haymaker swings 😂 Seeing Bruce in action for the first time was truly a revelation in action cinema & still holds today

Bruce got to see the rushes and loved it, but unfortunately he died about 4 weeks after the filming wrapped so he didn't get to see the adulation it would recieve. Wow I was under the impression that Bruce Lee seen nothing of this movie. It kind of puts a smile on my face knowing he's seen something whether it is as simple as the rushes and the fact that he loved what he seen makes it all that better. You do sometimes wonder did he realize at the time that he was making his best movie. Such a tragic loss
@@millerman9991 yeh, it's a shame he didn't see the American audiences reaction. That's what he wanted. Bob said to Bruce 'he had captured magic in a bottle' with ETD. In his own words to Ted Ashley, head of Warners he said ' I want to make the best f'kingest action movie ever'. And he did. Only 11-12 years in the States, and what he achieved in the short time, before returning to HK. The guy was driven. Real shame he died so young.
It is amazing when you think about it the Legacy this man has left considering like you said he was only around for 11 to 12 years.

Hey Keith, I’ve got the cine version with different steelbook you refer to. Feels like ages since I ordered this so was a nice surprise when it turned up.
I’m very impressed with this edition - it feels and looks like quality (as it should be from Warner).
Watching this tonight with the gf - she hasn’t seen it before and I’ve not seen it in years but looking forward to revisiting this in glorious 4K.
Imo - the hype is justified for this movie Keith - it’s a classic.

Anyway, this is a classic movie. After you've watched this, you should watch Dragon:the Bruce Lee story, it's a good film on its own but it also gives you a good insight into his life.
I've actually seen dragon the Bruce Lee story and I absolutely love it. It's been a long time and I do need to revisit it but it was the only connection I had to Bruce Lee prior to the arrow Video box set.

Excellent video Keith. That’s a great edition. Glad you enjoyed The Big Boss, and The Way of the Dragon. I love those films. They are so much fun. I grew up watching those. They’re all really good. Fist of fury is great as well. Enter the dragon is definitely my favourite Bruce Lee film though. I think you’ll love it mate. It has some of the best fight scenes ever.👍

I like the pic of “Han man” on the steelbook (top left). Very subtle. You’ll love this film if you liked way of the dragon.
I am not kidding it's only when I looked over the video after I completed it when I noticed the character on the top left corner. Never noticed him when I was doing the video 😆 🤣

It's actually a great effect on the Steelbook and it's a shame I didn't notice it in the video. Sometimes it's hard to pick up when you're looking through the camera

I have the 40th Anniversary set with the same bonus bits. Im quite happy with that set i do have an alternative steelbook with the dragon on with embossing
Honestly Matt I think you have the best Steelbook of the two. I've said it countless times in my videos but I love a red and black color scheme on a Steelbook particularly when it's high gloss. I might actually pick it up sometime in the future. Thank you for stopping by my friend

Glad you enjoyed "Way of the Dragon" I think that's Bruce's 2nd best myself...but "Enter the Dragon" is in another league imo and the 4K presentation is very, very nice...my old Blu-ray looks very dull and lifeless in comparisson. The audio is also a very nice upgrade. I think you'll enjoy this one ! 🙂
I know for an absolute fact that I'm going to enjoy Enter the Dragon now whether I'm going to enjoy it as much as Way of the Dragon that remains to be seen but from what I've been hearing it's shaping up to be a very special movie. I had every intention of watching Enter the Dragon when I picked up the arrow Video box set but I said to myself why ruin it wait till you can see it in the best possible way and this 4K transfer is shaping up to be quite special. Honestly Jimmy I can't wait to sit down and see this movie and I knew I was going to buy this release of it because I wanted to see the movie in the best possible way and it's definitely shaping up to be the best the movie has ever looked. But I completely understand why you passed on it.
Great video and great boxset I think this a such a great film I got the Ultimate Blu-Ray Collectors Edition with some of the same items you got and some different items of the Bruce Lee website years ago
Yeah I heard a lot of the items and the Special features are very similar to other editions. It probably explains why the Die Hard fans were very disappointed with Warner Brothers efforts with this release. Thankfully for myself this is my first time purchase for this movie so I'm very happy with what I have. Thank you for checking it out Danny
Hi Keith, Any Bruce Lee film is a lesson in Martial arts film and some great life lessons. A one of a kind who was taken way to soon. Enter The Dragon is my favorite as it was super hyped when released here in the USA. I actually got this on digital at $4.99 and could not pass up that price for a new 4K release. Excellent picture but the sound sends it over the top. Great piece there lad !!! 🇺🇸✌️🇮🇪

I think Enter the Dragon is definitely his best film Keith, I think I said it before but the rest of his movies are really good too. This box set looks amazing, the artwork is great, a very nice edition. I can't wait for you to watch this and see what you think of it, maybe you will still prefer Way of the Dragon over this one but no one can argue if you do because they are all very good films.
The problem is Gary I wasn't expecting to enjoy Way of the Dragon as much as I did and now my expectations are very high for Enter the Dragon even higher because it's regardless his finest movie. I know I'm going to love the movie it's a question of how much. Hopefully the beautiful 4K transfer and Dolby Atmos will enhance my enjoyment of it even more. Can't wait to check it out. Very glad to hear that you liked your first two movies with Bruce Lee Keith. Enter the Dragon is a great movie but after watching all movies again, The Way of the Dragon is still my favourite. The end fight is so organic compared to a lot of other martial arts movie fights. Enter the Dragon was maybe a bit to mainstream to my taste but that's just me nit-picking. Yeah I wasn't expecting to enjoy them as much as I have been particularly Way of the Dragon and I still stand by what I said in this video I can't imagine Enter the Dragon being as good but I've heard nothing but great things about it so I can't wait to check it out. The big boss was very enjoyable as well so I think my next movie will be Fists of Fury then Enter the Dragon. I'm sure I will feature them again sometime in the future and share my thoughts on them. Hi Keith. Great in-depth video review. Glad you did enjoy The Way of the Dragon as you’re not somewhat keen to martial arts genre that much (same goes for spaghetti westerns even though you still own the Sergio Leone ones). Yeah the whole fight sequence between Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee was pure gold. I have yet to grab that edition as some point as my wallet is killing me from getting several Bruce Lee DVD documentaries, memorabilia and books (being a long-term Bruce Lee fan that is), but I’m not aware that this edition is numbered to 3000 units. I should be getting it next month asap once it’s still in stock.
Martial arts was something I was into when I was younger but for some strange reason I grew out of it and I was always looking for an excuse to go back in and I'm so happy I did because I really enjoyed the movies I have seen on that arrow Video box set. The same happened with spaghetti westerns. I don't own any though. Maybe if they bring out a nice 4K boxset sometime in the future I might get back into that genre. Yeah this edition of Enter the Dragon is quite limited and I'm almost certain it's sold out. But there is another variant you can get on Amazon Italy which is the exact same only for the steelbook is different. Definitely worth looking into if you can't get this one
I have no doubt in my mind that you will be blown away by Enter the Dragon. By far better than the Hong Kong made films. Enjoy Keith.

Fantastic movie. It's a shame that Warner Brothers didn't include any new extras in this especially as it is the 50th anniversary of the film.
Yeah you would think Warner Brothers will go the extra mile and give some new special features particularly it being the 50th anniversary. But this was the first time purchase for me so I'm okay with it but I can understand why the fans were so disappointed
Does the blu ray disc contain the film 🎞️ as well or is it just special features?
Wow now that is a great question. Probably should have mentioned that in the video. As far as I'm aware the Blu-ray does have the movie and I think it has the special features as well

Really love this release. Although the red steelbook is better, I prefer this one because you already have the same artwork on the outer boxset. This is also the reason I always turn the slips inside the Arrow boxset. I like diversity in it.
By the way. I always find Amazon inconsistent with the pre orders. They often ship it days and days later than the release. Do you have the same experience with Amazon? I always hold my breath if they will ship it...
And my last question. I received the Second Sight pre order of It Follows. It's stunning. I was waiting for weeks for you to do a video about it.

Hey Robert. Normally I would have no issues with Amazon but I have to admit my last three orders have come in late and I honestly do not know what is going on. As a matter of fact I actually tried to order Sleepy Hollow on 4K this week and it's telling me I have to wait five weeks. Absolutely ridiculous.
I have fallen behind on my second sight releases at the moment and I really need to catch up. I definitely want to get that it follows 4K release as well as Crimes of the future. Just waiting for the right time.

@@millerman9991 funny you mentioned Sleepy Hollow. Still waiting for that too. Had it on sept 11 in my notepad where I note all my pre orders. Same problem as Enter the Dragon. Think it will also be those 5 weeks now. I don't understand why Amazon doesn't send apologies or information mails when a order ships later than expected.
And about Enter the Dragon. A must watch. Childhood memories for mee. My dad taped it from tv on VHS and the last 10 minutes with that mirror fight always ended abruptly due to a error in the recording. Same for Gremlins 2. Always missed the last 15 minutes of that movie in my childhood. Watching the end of these two movies still gives me a weird feeling because it extends beyond the vhs we had 😂
@reprobert what's pissing me off with Amazon is the fact that I'm actually paying for prime and I don't seem to be getting anything for my money. It's a wonder I'm even paying it. But yes you're right you think they would email you and let you know what the hell is going on. Now that I think of it I actually had a beautiful 4K Blu-ray collection of the house Media book edition that was meant to come this week from Amazon Germany and I've been told that's been delayed as well. Hey Keith great review. I really enjoy watching your reviews and video postings. If you enjoyed watching some of the martial arts films I can highly recommend you IP Man starring Donnie Yen which is loosely based on the life of Bruce Lee's teacher. I believe it will be available in 4K but not sure if it will be available in the UK. Again if you want to see a biopic of Bruce Lee, I can highly recommend the film Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story starring Jason Scott Lee (no relation). It's only available on blu ray. It's a brilliant film.
I have received a couple of gifts through the door a couple of weeks ago and they were a few Donnie Yen movies. None of them were the IP man but I have heard amazing things about that movie and I'm hoping someday to get around to checking it out. I've seen him in a handful of movies John Wick and Rogue one to name a few and I was impressed by him. I have seen dragon the Bruce Lee story and up to a couple of weeks ago it was the only connection I had with Bruce Lee and I can't stress you how much I love that movie. I'm actually due a revisit. I'm almost certain I did revisit this movie. I think I featured it in a haul video. I thought it was fantastic but I still think Way of the Dragon is the better of the two.

Yeah mate why not just give the extra cards . This is what annoys me. Least with the cards if wanted you cd scan and make poster . I done with a slipcase. Blew it right up and image was quality if not the same. I done this with a few film covers .
That's the one issue I have with Warner Brothers at the moment when it comes to these collectors Editions they seem to be cutting corners in the last year. I've even noticed the box set is considerably smaller than some of their previous releases and now we have double sided postcards. I know a lot of people won't care too much about it but it does frustrate me

I still haven't seen Enter the Dragon as of yet because I have so much else ahead of it at the moment. Enter the Dragon is a classic. Way of the Dragon you watch once, then on future viewing only from the point of Chuck Norris getting off the plane. That’s the movie.
Very excited to check out Enter the Dragon and hopefully it lives up to the hype. There is so much surrounding it at the moment. Way of the Dragon was such a surprise. Never thought I would enjoy it as much as I did
