I remember when I had my first baby, I used to just stare at her and think I was the luckiest person in the world. I had her when I was 35 after many years of not thinking I would ever fall pregnant. I just couldn't believe she was mine. Children are our greatest Blessings ❤

I was in labor for six and one half hours before I gave birth. I had my epidural about an hour after I get there. After I gave birth I was like that was easy, I could do that again. Little did I know the second one was way different. They were going to induce me. I was dreaming I was in labor. I woke up in full labor. Got to the hospital and they said I was barely dialated. A little bit later I was like I need to push. They rechecked me and said honey if your water breaks you’re going to have that baby right here. She said it and my water broke. They rushed me to delivery . Two pushes and she came. Totally different experience. But I’m glad to have experienced natural childbirth. I was tiny and my babies only weighed five lbs, thank goodness! Childbirth really is a miracle. It definitely changes your thinking and your way of life immediately. You guys will be awesome parents. You care about her everything. She’s your universe. Being a parent is awesome, even with all the ups and downs. Then comes grandbabies. I have seven. Three boys and four girls. I was in the room with six of them when they were born. Enjoy Finn, because they grow up so fast. You blink and they are grown with their own kids. Your daughter is a beautiful mixture of you both. Congratulations!🎊🎈🎉🍾

❤️ You both are incredibly beautiful souls! At the time of this video, you had only been parents for six days, and you’re already doing a STELLAR job as parents.
And good for you for not letting negative comments or judgments affect you anymore, Tucker.
The happiness you’re both feeling will NEVER go away. Whether your child is six days old, six months old, six years old, or 16 years old....the love and happiness you have with each other, and with your child will never diminish. In fact, believe it or not, your happiness and love is going to grow as the days pass. It’s crazy how much love you feel when you have a child, it’s something that you never even could have possibly imagined existed. However, what’s even more shocking is that the love and happiness you’re feeling right now is actually going to get bigger and stronger. Yep, buckle up for the happiness train because you guys are about to take a very long life journey that is going to bring you bliss every day. I’m not just saying that because you are new parents, I’m saying it because of the beautiful souls you both are, and the amazing parents that you have been, and are going to continue to be. That is a recipe for long-term happiness.
You are blessed to have found each other, and to now have created this amazing blessing of a family. I promise you the happiness will never go away. Enjoy. ❤️💕

I’ve said this before, but I can already tell that you both are/will be amazing parents. Finley is so lucky to have you and you are lucky to have her. Sammie, Giving birth is hard!! I was in labor for 36 hours with my first little one. I finally I had to tell my husband to take me to the hospital at midnight. When we got there, they said that I was only dilated to a one. They also told me that I needed to come back later. I told them that I was in so much pain that if they sent me back to the parking lot I would only come right back up. Lol my first little one was born at 9:02 PM that day. I can’t believe that you pushed for five hours, you’re my hero. Much love from Oklahoma!!! You rock girl!!❤

My husband and I both had many of the same fears as you both. My son was 9lbs 1oz and tore me up. The story of Butters and Finn is very much the same as my son and his cat Mickey. Mickey was by the front door the day we came home with my son and never left his side. They were best buddies for 13 years. My son held him the day he crossed the rainbow bridge. Makes me smile to hear all about your new family adventure. I will be watching every video with a big smile :)

Another cool thing is to save pieces of special outfits, like Halloween, Christmas, etc, just special outfits in her life then right before she turn eighteen have a quilt made for her out of these pieces you saved. From a Aries mama to Turner being an Aries Dad, we LIVE for
HONESTY! I had a similar experience with my first back in 1987 in that I expected people to be in there with me. I didn’t have maternity insurance. I was told at 4 centimeters that I was too far along and would have to have her natural. I had saved for the $400 epidural. They would have been paid and I found out right away that they could have given me the relief. They held me off the ‘first’ day to a more convenient day for themselves for my baby to be delivered. On the day ‘they’ decided my baby would be born, I was cranked up higher on the Pitocin!
It hit me hard and took me straight to the major stages of pain that come later in the labor process. I could tell that I wasn’t top priority and had no one in the room but my husband when I began to feel a huge urge to push. They claimed to have too many people having babies on this day. My husband stepped in and told me that when I felt that I needed to push again he would help me. At that moment the nurse stuck her head In the door and saw that we were having a baby without them and screamed down for DR. to come NOW. I had the baby in a matter of minutes when he walked in just in time to catch her. Then afterwards the placenta and then he pressed down so hard on my stomach that my instinct was to grab his arm! He was appalled and said DONT EVER DO THAT AGAIN ! I was like..well don’t do what you just did! I mean ..give a warning or Something! I was not given anything for pain but was asked if I would like a Tylenol that night around 12:15 am.next day. My baby had been born at 11:59 the day before. September 18,1987, 7 lbs 9 oz.
I felt traumatized and had severe ptsd. I would not feel confident enough again to give birth until 13 years past. I still had a $5,000. Birthing bill from that hospital in Clearwater Fl. Where of course, I paid every cent. I’m thankful only to God.
    My baby was healthy.

You’re so tiny. Finley was a big baby for you to push out!! Girl…you need to be so proud of yourself!!
    You’re a boss.
I have a very low threshold for pain so I had an epidural with both of my children.
I’m just like you. I never babysat or even loved being around babies, but I did and still do love little children. Before they start asking why…why…why and get that smart mouth on them. Lol
I was so afraid of my son when we brought him home. Newborns are in that frog position and I was scared to death I was going to break his legs when changing his diaper.
That was 31 yrs ago. I turned 30 one month after he was born. Then 9 yrs later I was in my 2nd marriage and had a little girl. She is a fireball.

Tucker and Sammie, don't ever fear losing that " walking on clouds" feeling that you have right now, because if you hadn't of gone through every milestone you've gone through previously, you wouldn't be experiencing the joy that the birth of your daughter has given you! Life is a ☯️ You cannot know this joy you're feeling right now, if you hadn't of experienced painful times in your past! Please don't fear losing " the feeling" it will come and go through life, but when life gets bumpy, as it does for all of us, all you have to do is reflect back on these most precious of moments, and that joy will come flooding back, I know this for a fact!! ❤
Sammie, I know you might have been worried while you were pregnant, to look too closely at what was to come when you were going to go through labor and delivery, even watching videos can scare the crap out of anyone contemplating getting pregnant, but in the case of childbirth, knowledge is power, and I seriously wish that you would have taken lamaze classes as a couple ( I thought you guys were doing something) so that you could have prepared for what was going on! I know it's a little to late to say that now, but it would have helped Turner be more able to help you through labor & delivery, and it would have helped you stay relaxed as things got more intense! It's like when you were saying that the nurse was telling you to breathe thru your mouth & then thru your nose, Lamaze is learning breathing and relaxation techniques that help minimize pain and can even shorten the duration of labor! I know, hindsight is 20/20 but if you ever decide to have any more kids, I'd highly recommend it especially now that you know what you have to endure to have a baby!
If it weren't for lamaze, I probably would have been one and done on the kids front, instead of having 4, which I am genuinely blessed to of had!!
Anyway, continued blessings on this road you are traveling on and Finley will be your best teacher! 👌 🙏✌❤❤

Also I can sympathise with you sammy as my second child was 10lb 12oz and I should never have had a natural birth, I was terrified. I was more scared the second time round as I knew what was coming but nothing could have prepared me, and I was pushing way longer than the nurse said I was so not sure what that was about. But we are very happy and grateful for our lives, we live honestly and laugh a lot, my daughter is autistic like me and visually impaired and doesn’t let it change a thing, she’s amazing (and hilariously funny), of course I would do it all again. Thank you for sharing, you’ve brought back a lot of amazing memories of having a new baby. X

Wait when she puts her little hand on you while she nurses, the bond is so magical and beautiful that it will become some of the precious moments between you and her. I wish God had made woman to be able to have babies longer. Like men can until they are in their late 70s and older. I would have had more babies for sure. It’s amazing how we create that little human isn’t it? Thank you so much sharing. It was like I was related to you guys when I opened your channel and there was Sammi and Finn and I started crying so automatically and saying omg she’s so beautiful snd I was so happy for you guys. It was a beautiful day and I really loved every minute of it with you. I’ve been with your channel from the beginning and everyday I look forward to seeing you and your family! Luv ya!

Labor starts when plug comes out or if you don’t see plug any contractions steady every couple minutes they are real contractions. The baby’s head is soft and squeezes through the shape of the birth canal though. It is a miracle though isn’t it! I love how Daddy expresses his love for his daughter and wife - don’t ever lose that!
The placenta isn’t really that great to see- I did not see it when I gave birth to my son but my second one my daughter I did see it! Looks kinda like a big roast beef raw of course. Lol! I love you guys!
Momma are you taking a nap when Finn takes nap during the day you have to save your energy for night feedings, your body went through a lot. Drink milkshakes or icecream to you need to push dairy and water for easier breast feeding. I guess you had the “letdown” - when your boobs get really hard and then finally get softer. Just keep each other happy! You guys will be great!😃💕❤️

You poor baby !! You should’ve been taken better care of while you were at the hospital. Sammie, Labor started when you started having pains. And you did great for not knowing what you were doing. The cut they make is call an episiotomy, it’s just the small cut in the skin at the bottom part of your vagina. All I can suggest to you is to read the book “what to expect when you’re expecting “ it’s like a beginners guide to pregnancy. You both have matured so much from all of
This. I’m so proud of you both. You’ll be great parents. Don’t worry. I love it 🥰

What I did was no lights on at Night, no talking etc. just silence, feed, change sooth, back to sleep....but no stimulants. Daytime...loads of chat, interaction , play, no worry on sleeping.etc. I could write a book on my 1st ,3 days in Labour, you guys did great.XX

You guys are amazing parents & anyone can see that. I’m glad you didn’t listen to all the ‘advice’ on here coz it would have made you so anxious. My 11yr old is soooo in love with Finns backpack, unfortunately here it costs £97 so that’s out of the question but Finn is so lucky to have these things at just 6 days old 🥰 Baby Fin Fin is gorgeous & is gonna have an awesome life with you guys. & can I also say, especially to Tucker.. to that little girl you are everything! She will grow up a massive daddy’s girl & love her momma, she will look up to the both of you.. I don’t think there’s a question that you guys are going to be such amazing parents! Just don’t be too hard on yourself because you’re human! And something I always say to new parents- be vulnerable in front of Finn sometimes to show her it’s ok to show emotions. That’s something our society lacks so tremendously! Cats are not humans but you guys clearly take great care of your cats and that’s a great indicator for you guys with Finn! I am just sooo happy for you three!!! Tucker! Mad Max? 😠 LOL At 74 I still remember feeding my babies. The bonding is indescribable. Labor is work. When it wasn't funny anymore it was labor. There are different ways to breath depending on dilation/labor. The episiotomy is done right before birth. I had one each time. 4 of them right over the last one so my kids heads didn't destroy me. Heh, heh. I see the change in you kids. It's huge! About 4 weeks and you'll be healed and back to normal. Now tell Godfather Paul that old ladies think he's cute.
