- Our Samsung electric range's dual burner's coils remained on high heat. This was due to a malfunctioning of the infinite switch, which I show how to replace in this video. This is a super easy fix; all you need is a screw driver/power drill and the replacement part.

I just changed the part on my Samsung NE58K9500SG/AA. Took me 25 minutes. It will take 15 minutes if I have to do it again. After I took the 4 screws out, the front of the assembly controls did not want to unclip. after jiggling it a couple minutes it became unhinged. From there on easy fix. Thank you. Way better than waiting for repairman and cheaper. Had thought about upgrading to a new Samsung with induction burners, but Samsung redesigned the ranges and they are all 2 inches deeper. I would have to cut out granite for it to fit.
I’m so glad to hear it! The clips are definitely the hardest part - otherwise it would be a 5 minute fix. And, yes, it’s way cheaper than a repairman, especially since they often charge extra for the part!

I got my drill from Amazon about 4 years ago, and only use it as an electric screwdriver. It’s been given the nickname “Barbie Drill”. It doesn’t really drill all that effectively, so I have a separate drill for that. I got Barbie drill from Amazon and can send the link, if you’d like. You can also search for pink electric screwdriver and see a bunch of options (possibly lighter-weight versions if just using it as a screwdriver).
Hey Thanks for the video. I have the same unit and the same burner on my stove is doing the same thing. You are right " not a very good stove" mine is only 2 years old. You don't have a video on the oven temp accuracy. My wife thinks it about 25 degrees low.

What if the middle burner doesn’t turn on but the external one does? What’s wrong it’s that? Meaning when I put dual on only the outside circle lits up not the center.
Just wondering if switches will need to be continually replaced, or if Samsung's were just garbage. Both our double-burners went out of control within 5-6 years of purchase. No help from Samsung naturally.

I just ordered the part. For the price we paid for this range we’re a little more than disappointed! We remodeled our kitchen in 2016. We started with Frigidaire gallery series! Refrigerator
Range,microwave and dishwasher! The finish on the range was wearing off after the first month! Called Frigidaire customer service! The range was just a little over one month old and I kid you not their reply was our warranty doesn’t cover cosmetics! The dishwasher was deemed unrepairable by Lowes warranty service! They gave us a credit for a replacement! Refrigerator and microwave only thing left! The microwave handle broke, and we’re shopping for a new one! We didn’t even get six years of service.
