all playing, no talking - these guys get it
This guy could make any keyboard sound good. Nord makes a great board, but a player of this caliber makes the keyboard sound flawless.
Yeah he plays amazingly, considering the size of his finger! Look at 'em!!
The BEST sounding 73 note keyboard on the market to date! HANDS-DOWN!👍👌Excellent playing sir!
One of my favorite guys. Christian Marterano is an amazing player and a great human being!!
He makes it look effortless!!
The beginning blessed me 😊
it's always great to hear Chris Martirano play.
An amazing piano play!! This Nord sounds good too! I realy love the electric piano + organ's part !! the demo is very nicely done!!
Chris, you do the BEST demos!
Beautiful musician ❤️
Fantastic player with hands like Hulk 👍
just amazing
I heard that Keith Emerson stuff!!!! F*** YES dude.
Awesome demo man!!!
That thing sounds fantastic, but his playing makes is even better
Almost perfect. 😍
Very nice. I really get what the keyboard will do.
Awesome Skills! 👌👍
Beautiful tribute to Emerson's Blues Variation!
Blimey, I'd buy a recording of the Hammond bit.
That NORD is good, but without the good player behind won't be the same. Nice video :)
This guy can really play!
Wow, I don't usually get goosebumps from a product demo, but you did it sir! That piece from 5:50 on is absolutely gorgeous! (is it improv or an existing song? would love to know where I can find it if so).
Beautiful. Can anyone tell me what the piece he was playing at the start is?
A categoria desses teclados são apenas pianos e órgao? E os outros ? Metais, sintes, etc
Sem dúvida um excelente aparelho NOTA 10
Estou aguardando uma versão na faixa de $ 2.000,00 daí com certeza eu venderei meu Caso CTK 6.250 e comprarei um Nord kkkkkk e chega de usar Samples.
I just bought electro 6 HP, it's 👍 If you would do (electr 7) with 78 keys, a Fa up, and Re Do (+ #) down, would be 👌
Chris M. is the man.....😎
no talk yes ! :D
Does Nord read Dexibell Samples?
Thanks for the video! Great playing and really great examples of splits, layers and switching them up live. To be honest, I still haven't heard anything that would help me feel happy about spending so much money on these Nord keyboards. I know this is a topic which is so touchy. Mainly the Nord-Crowd do not like to hear someone say this. But in many cases, other keyboards would do just as well - especially in a live situation where so many things are going on at the same time on stage. And the Electro 6 is still missing pitch/mod, the layout is not really as gig-friendly as some others, etc. I think they are outstanding keyboards, yet I still don't feel the price or the hype are justified.
The layout of the electro 5 is much more friendly than 6
does 5D have the same keybed feeling like 6D? Anyone knows? Thx a lot.
Yes
Beautiful playing. Great touch and phrasing. Love the movement and modulation of the strings. Very expressive. This piece sounds great. Wish Nord could grow past their “Red” esthetic.... Crumar Seven is what I’m talking about. That’s a beautiful instrument. Nord sounds are always on point tho.
Believe it or not, I'm looking for something for the living room, and even if I have the money for a Stage 3, the wife will nix it on color alone.
How much extra does it cost for me to play it as creatively and masterfully as he does?
About 10 - 20 years of dedicated practice :O
@@vanessajazp6341 exactly jaja can't throw money at that it's all sweat and tears
How many keys is this one? It looks small in the video?
Where the other sounds....
music for a piano bar-man. :)
Does this only really do Piano and Organ?
watch the second half of the video
No it has a variety of EPs, clavis, strings, synths, pads, etc. as well
Nord string sample has only one layer, which is inexcuseable by today’s standards. Good playing, tho.
What does the 'D' stand for?
Drawbars
That means that this model has physical drawbars instead of the LED-bars, while a HP in the name means the instrument has got a hammered action keybed
Cheers, I actually prefer the LED drawbars.
But the price... 😲
i think Roland VR730 is as good but cheaper
@@DXLUPO Isn't the Roland more Piano-centric though?
Mute the strings!
Very nice playing but sorry, I still prefer the Sound of Roland Instruments especially the Juno range and the E 86.
Kenneth Morton As an owner of Roland‘s JP-80 and RD-2000 I must admit that the Nord organ sounds, esp. the Leslie sims, are much better.
Roland E86? wow, that's going back a ways. a friend had one back in the mid 90s. it really was a great sounding instrument, even with the built in speakers - had a subwoofer in the bottom.
Dexibell VIVO S9
Thanks, Our Church Band uses an E86, its in good condition, and is great to play.
Organs, strings, and synths are not electro-mechanical or even simply mechanical. Wouldn't those sounds be best relegated for the Stage 3? The 2nd most popular electro mechanical keyboard in history was the Clavinet, right behind the Rhodes, yet its not even in this or the other lengthy demos. One of these demos briefly featured a single patch thru their auto-wha, strangely used pitch bend on the Stage 3 demo. For a company that has CLAV in its company name, they seem to go out of their way not featuring it. What gives?
I guess they have those sounds for people who don't want/need a stage. personally, I'd love to see Nord come out with a single manual drawbar organ with an 11 pin Leslie socket, different sets of "tonewheel" sounds and NO other sounds. I'd also love for them to make a rompler/workstation with 61 synth keys and the best quality samples available. probably won't happen though.
Ain't a Hammond an electro mechanical device?
Price$$$??
Mark Landes like 3k
no, its 1500€
1500? Where, lol?!
Adam Jensen mine cost £1400 from Gear4music
In Greece its like 1.800€
Drawbars
