I've been an ARMY for years now and seeing them become so successful makes me happy. 2020 might've been terrible for us but we managed to turn it around and give the boys everything they deserve. Now all that's left is the GRAMMYs.

I had been listening to BTS casually since January 2020, but the carpool karaoke made me an ARMY
*I've been there for all comebacks since early 2017. 2016 end after BST was me discovering their personalities.I remember I was jumping through the roof when the got their first bbma and when they did DNA at AMAs I was ecstatic....little did I know they would be grammy nominated by then....2018 was my serious army year where I immersed myself in the tear era and started religiously watching run bts and stuff..*

It's heartwarming to see so many people entering the fandom in quarantine, 2020. For us army, this was a remarkable year indeed. They, BTS, made it better 💜
The only reason why I was still able to smile and be happy. I am so proud to be an Army for almost 5 years now!!💜

I knew these guys in 2015 and I've been a fan of BTS since the release of Spring Day. I've witnessed the growth of their popularity worldwide when they won their first BBMAS and their first appearance on BB HOT 100. Seeing their popularity now, and them being called 'the most famous group/ the biggest band in the world' makes me so emotional and proud of how far they did come. The day Dynamite hit no.1 on BB HOT 100 I cried a lot... I mean a lot,as well as LGO. And the day they got their first Grammy nomination ,I couldn't contain my emotions or how I feel. It was never easy for us or them, they didn't reach the top all of sudden... It was a long way of climbing to the top and facing many blocks and hurdles. I'm really proud of them...
Im so proud I've been part of this journey.. Bangtan make my quarantine bearable 😭💜

2020 was rough. I struggled a lot, specifically health, and I still am.
I've literally seen doctors and nurses more in the past 5 months than I've seen my friends.

if it wasn't because of covid I could have seen them after waiting for 5 years. When the tour dates were released and Barcelona, Spain was there I literally screamed at 7am. Bts had never come to Spain before and the excitement that Spanish and Portuguese armys had was just amazing. I'm still frustrated because I literally live
10 minutes from the Olympic stadium, and every time I pass by I can't cjnvetigfkjne.
I will never forget 2020 for taking away from us the best that could have happened that year.
I'm still in pain crying every night while listening to let go.

the dynamite prep started the day after my birthday... according to the video my birthday is July 27th.... and some things came out on my sisters birthday hers was may 22nd..... i keep forgetting how busy bts has been but its sort of like a trade off they would have been busy with the tour anyways and always doing something so being busy with the release of new material is just a way for them to bring back the work and the feel of always being busy and always doing something whether its preping for a tour or a new album/song to be released... they always seem to be doing something anything to stay motivated and improving in their craft. which I love and admire their hard work and dedication to what they believe in and what they achieve... I know they will continue to do amazing things whether it's creating new music for themselves or in the future if they stop preforming and making music for their own group and instead become mentors within their company for other groups they will be amazing at that and inspiring for generations to come... because to me I think that's the next step for bts when and if they become tired of the constant performing and their schedules always being jam packed I really do think they will be amazing mentors for the companies groups that they decide to add on in the future..... Just some thoughts from an Army member who's been around for 7 years now I found them in 2014-2015 so I've been around for a bit and Ive watched them mature into the people that they are and all I care about is that they love and enjoy what they do and are happy with the way thier lives have progressed and will continue to progress I hope they don't have any regrets in their lives and if they do that they have made their peace with them and are able to change what they want to, to improve in themselves in their body mind and soul and as people and performers and their families big or small.... really all I want is for them to be happy and if and when they have thier own families I want them to be happy....Okay I'm done rambling( I could talk about BTS forever if someone let me)...
Also Sam, I do think you should start from the begining with their material all the way back from their first album and dance practices and releases for music videos and live performances so you can see thier growth instead of randomly doing videos or just taking requests... but this is my opinion (i just think it would be great to see the full transformation from the first music video to the most recent one...)

they forgot to mention how korea changed a whole law for bts just before jin’s birthday. all artists who have received the merit award that bts received in 2018 (i think) is able to defer their mandatory military enlistment two years. all of bts is able to defer their enlistment. but they are the only group (i think) who has this honor.
