I hope this remake does well, because it might possibly lead to the creation of Pac-Man World 4, just like how Crash Bandicoot gets a 4th game after so many years. This remake is going to be a whole new era for the Pac-Man World series!!
Namco wouldn't do a World 4 in the way that you're probably thinking, but I would suspect that this is indeed an experimental launch made on a budget to gauge interest into a new 3D Pac Man platformer with higher production values and an original story, mechanics, ect.
@@Steelwaterfall1 I mean, Crash Bandicoot had a 4th game tho, after the trilogy was remastered into HD. 🤷♂️ I badly want World 4 in the future 😭
@@michaelrobosa146 With the Ms. Pac-Man stuff still up in the air and the tonal shift that was 3, not to mention just how long it's been, I don't see them doing a World 4 in the traditional sense. Again, I think what we'll get in the future will be a new 3D platformer in the same vein as Pac Man World but with a different name and new mechanics
@@Steelwaterfall1 bruh. That's literally the purpose of a remake. They could rework stuff in World 3, that made people/fans hate the game. Bandai Namco has been really getting at it lately first it was Elden Ring, then the Klonoa Fantasy Reverie Series, and now this.
I hope we can get a remake of World 2 sometime in the future.
Feels a lot like the AOE Definitive editions: Most people only cared about having 2 remade, but 1 and 3 were very nice bonuses :)

The fact that even through all these years pac man as a character and a video game series is STILL relevant in the gaming world today is honestly amazing when you think about it.

So that some people can at least experience a little part of it for free.

How have i not heard of this remake!!!? This made my whole freakin day. Pacman world was my whole childhood. I even downloaded an emulator to finish the game a few months ago cuz i could never get passed the 2nd carnival when i was younger. Simply amazing

Word of warning: Since PMW1 has been remade with Gibberish speak, that better not change if 2/3 are remade.
All of them must be equal "voice" wise now.
(honestly, why gibberish speak? Toc-Man had the best voice)

You should, if you're into old-school platformers and/or Pac-Man, if not then maybe don't but this might lead to a remake of the better Pac-Man World 2 so it needs sales
I'm biased toward World 1 due to Toc-Man, so I'm getting it.
TBH, the only downside (besides Pac Mom and some renamed chars due to a lawsuit) is really the gibberish speak/subtitle combo. But I'll just play with the volume off until Toc's fight and parts of the mansion area since I loved their music.

Pac-Man really needs a bright shadow underneath him so i’m able to tell where Pac-Man is about to land, Please add this or i’m gonna smash my controller on the floor and rage quit. All I wanted to do is beat this game.

This is not what I wanted.... if you were gonna do anything with pacman world it should've been world 1,2 and 3 remastered edition. Fyck this repac how bout that 🙄🙄I'm honestly pissed
I also expected it to be a collection of remakes of the three Pacman worlds. But I think this is better than not having anything new from Pacman or the saga that many of us grew up with. if this game does well in sales, probably if a remake of the other two games in the Pacman world will come out
I think it's best if the games come out Separately, so they won't rush to get them all done.
