I wish I got these systems like you all the time!
I got a free office telcom system a while back with 3 boxes full of slot card type boards. The working power board units sold quickly as did the empty metal boxes that still had the backplane boards. The rest of the boards sat on eBay forever as untested but from a working unit and several sold to people looking for specific boards maybe to replace something on an older unit that wasn’t being manufactured anymore. What didn’t sell I decided to scrap out and depopulate, trim off gold fingers, etc., not worth it to ship, but the leftovers will go to a local yard at least as eWaste scrap. It was a good free pickup truck load with telecom stuff, dozens of phones and wires I scrapped out. It always pays to browse the local free stuff classified listings.👍

Absolutely, the free listings can produce random nuggets of gold. I've had mixed results trying to sell "functional" components. I'm glad you were able to do well with it.

Thanks for the video, this is a category I'm still venturing into so every bit helps. I'm guessing smaller transformers are okay to leave on the Low Telcom since Boardsort's sample shows some, Larger ones I always break off to be safe.

It's because he's using flashy, distracting editing, and it is confusing me. Plus, he's very old.
