    Hi Alois, very helpful video as always. Barring those acrobatic skills you showed at the beginning, I've been doing serving practice all by myself for years now. And that seems to have helped me a lot. Only by looking at the stance of the opponent whenever I play an occasional game or two I get an idea of what would be a winning for me to do!!!! And 90% this has paid off.

I play alternative with one hand and the other always drive to produce de more movement possible and moving both arms. Thank you very much answer will be apreciated.

    Hey I have what might be a simple question but if I server you my opponent side of the court does the ball have to exit through the back line of of his court or could it exit off the either side of the court. I’m somewhat new to ping pong and haven’t seen any rules about it.

    1:47 instead of a wall,you could use a small table (not a table tennis table) as a higher bounce so it’s more realistic, using the floor is more of a challenge

  • @frederikvater
    @frederikvater 3 года назад

    2:55 are you sure these are proper exercises for technique training and improvement?
    Yes, you can do this for ball control fun, and just to get time past, but this is not a good idea for technique improvement, nor real training. The returning ball will never resemble a real ball returned by another blade, and you would most likely develop a technique designed for this wallgame, instead of real play... :)
    I loved the video btw.

    • @Anonymous-eh3bt
      @Anonymous-eh3bt 3 года назад +2

      No ,actually what if your opponent hits it like this and you don’t and then develops better and unique techniques than you that are 100% valid and with enough training could be used so I don’t think it’s a waste of time or anything and besides you writing this message on the same week of the video???
      You probably haven’t even tried that new technique that he’s implementing and trying out for the purpose of teaching and critquzing harshly and saying “wall game” without even saying a better technique SO
      I dare you to give me a new technique video than this

    • @Doodmofo
      @Doodmofo Год назад

      @@Anonymous-eh3bt actually he's right and not harsh just stating faxx . You're just trying to prove you're point that this one is useful by talking abt other important techniques 🤷

      @@Anonymous-eh3bt yeah well this basic like the queen. No use in competitive match

  • @Doodmofo
    @Doodmofo Год назад

    In my perspective I don't think wall practice is useful because it denies technicality and is a standardised method which doesn't allow us to use our full potential. Comment if you also feel the same way

    • @pingskills
      @pingskills  Год назад

      It definitely has limitations. Practicing with a partner would certainly be better. However it can be useful if you are still learning basic skills and coordination and cannot practice with another person.
