I own this game, and every game is EXACTLY like this. It's an incredibly tight board game, it has no business being as good as it is being a mass market product tie in. But it's FANTASTIC. If you play multiple times you do learn that doing the opportunities is key, because they fill up everyone's power tiles and get the crazy strong gear items. But yes, it's almost always this close, and for $20 or whatever it costs, it has custom minis and a dice tower and a little car and... yeah I have no idea how the game is this good and this fancy.
Omg that was one of their best play throughs I’ve seen. The intensity of how close the game was near the end made their play through of the jaws board game seem really calm. The fact that Laurie and Dom made up an Egyptian version of the story is hilarious 😂
What an emotional rollercoaster, that they will never want to go through again. Of course, you guys realise that we will make you play this game again. Best episode ever!

Fantastic episode. The group meltdown, and the slow descent into madness was glorious to witness. I really like this game. I've played it quite a few times, and it is really, always this tight. Laurie asked in the middle of the game whether they play tested it ... They absolutely did. No game gets this good and this close every time without a lot of work. I hope this play through boosts the sales of this game, because it deserves it.
Bad news: They forgot to do the trouble roll after the last move. Good news: They rolled quite a bit extra to move the DeLorean. Bad news: If they had rolled two Biffs on the trouble roll, they would have been one short of winning. What does this mean? Who cares? The ending was incredible.
Good news:Very early on Blair and Dom double counted a Biff so the heart counter was 1 less than it should have been that entire time, so the moment the DeLorian reached the end of the track was the moment they should have won anyway.

From the opening credits, I always knew the French flag referred to Teri but only just twigged it plays on the fact she usually only gives a creepy hand wave…. I miss the Teri hand waves x
This whole episode felt like the last sequence of the movie where Doc was trying to make sure the wire was connected, but it kept disconnecting and Marty lined up, but the car died. Also, Heat Pedal to the Metal next week? Yes! Love that game as an auto racing fan! Should be a fun first game for the League!
monopoly, but with time travel. you start with normal monopoly, but eventually we change to another time and the value of stuff and rules change. somethings haven't been built yet, so you lose them. somethings are no longe there, you also lose them.

All the players need to resolve a list of objectives before other players based on the pieces they pick or something. Would be a blast to watch and an excuse to watch everyone try to manage four different boards lol.
Imagine you get this for your family thinking it's a chill and cutesy game (like almost all family movie tie ins are) so you pull this out... just to realize after 2 hours you never made an inch of progress.
1) Doc wouldnt be the same doc without Marty, Marty gave him a boost in confidence among other things during his low and believed in Doc when no one eles would do you honestly think he let marty suffer? no 2) The Dog is the dog from I believe 1985 not 1955 thus you wouldnt be around if doc and marty combo didnt happen not as you are currently 3) Girl wouldnt be dating her true love or such if marty wasnt around she be doing who knows what. they all deserve to apogise to Sully for being Marty all hail Sulliven all Hail the True Lord of the Board

I don't want to be the guy that says it, but i think you forgot to roll the two yellow dice on the after resovling the last movement cards to see if the Delorian went back two for each a biff result.😢
We need a House Rules edition of King of Tokyo that adds the nemeses from previous games as the kaiju options, each with unique Evolutions (the Power Up expansion) to represent how they screwed the gang. We need to see Biff vs. Mothman!
Amen to that! Excellent catharsis watching them claw their way to victory. Gives me hope that even though we just rolled all Biffs, we can keep playing and and make our way slowly out of this pit. As long as we don't give up, we aren't beaten!
I really thought that Dom was going to roll 7 Biffs at the end, George and Lorraine would hate each other forever, and Marty would vanish just as the Delorean hit 88 MPH.
That was so much better than the movie! (And bloody hell -- I have this game but haven't played it. I thought it might be a lighter Pandemic style cooperative game the whole family could enjoy. Nope!)

Effectively the game was resolved in just two moves. The other moves were only used to buff (biff) the players up.
