- A move that stunned Master Peter Svidler while he was analyzing the game in the studio of the Global chess league was 5.Bb5. It was the epic clash between GM Daniil Dubov (2727) and GM Leinier Dominguez Perez (2706) as Chingari Gulf Titans were up against the Ganges Grandmasters. Watch the video to see if Dubov's idea of playing the move helped him win the game.

for those who didnt understood dubov win because his opponent time out
Doesn't matter knight take pawn with check and took take free rook
Thank you
@@ironmiketeam4689 knight is in pin, So Nxh6 isn't possible
Sit 😢
Opponents is very smart ..😊😊😊😮dubove and opponents is smart and best all move analysis after all movements here...
Was waiting for Dubov's match to be uploaded ❤
5. Bb5 was played as recently as 2021 by Jordan Van Foreest against Wesley So, so it is hardly an off-the-wall idea. After 7. Nc3 that game continued (instead of 7...0-0) 7...d6; 8. 0-0 Bg4; 9. Qd3 0-0 and Wesley eventually won in 55 after Jordan sacced an exchange and a 4-queen position was reached. This game was a repeat of Vavulin-Sargsyan up to 11...Ng6, whereupon Maksim played Bg3 instead of taking the knight resulting in a 50 move draw.
Two missed opportunities for the young Dubov before winning on time. But hard game ...
Leinier is very strong, an excellent strategist, he knows a lot, his games are interesting to watch, but the ex-world blitz champion loves time pressure...
Bruh
Just like Grischuk
@@MysticDC 🙂
That's why he is the Super Grandmaster..
Dubov missed some wins here ! Ah I see,, Dubov wins on time anyway...

Dubov by a nose
Correct move after g takes f6?
Rg2
@@TheMagicalJuan I was looking at Nf4 too.
@@davidgothard3055 sadly doesn't work if they find the only move Kh7
so many blunders
Who loss i didn't get it , both are in equal position because of his last move
Draw
I think Lenier lost on time
@@connected_passed_pawns Yes. You can see that white has won by looking at the positioning of the kings after the game has finished.
Leinier lost because he ran out of time
He lost twice both on time and also his queen was going to be forked with check after rock exchange
Why on earth nf6 was a blunder? 8:00
I was also surprised by the evaluation, but Dominguez' Rf7 immediately explained it. Without checking with an engine, I guess that Rg2 (threatening Rg6) instead of Nxf6 would have been the correct move. Nf4 also looks interesting.
