One of the worse WV Governors in history and yet was also voted to be in the US Senate. Brags about tax cuts and his first day raised EVERYTHNG ELSE in WV. ( along with his plate of cow crap he bought with him ) It created a surplus but off the back of WV citizens who he claimed benefitted from his policies Has never paid most of his own taxes, debts and had many mine violations many still unpaid etc etc and brags about prosperity Millions of dollars under Byrd created various highways that were started and then money secured disappeared in WV before any were completed . the term "roads to no where" was a saying in WV and still is in many places Justice has help complete many of those roads but again at higher costs to WV citizens , his roads to prosperity claim has only lead to his own prosperity and few WV-ians prospering WV still has one of the worse job atmosphere and unemployment ratings Report shows West Virginia to be ‘least happy’ state in the nation New study shows West Virginia to be among the worst states for infrastructure, attractivity to business Research shows West Virginia has lowest SAT scores in the nation, higher firearm death rate than New York and Illinois West Virginia’s median household income of $54k ranks 49th in nation ( Source The RealWV ) Not to mention he has blown millions ( $13.8 ) of that surplus on his own pet projects, built a stadium for Marshall U baseball and other such nonsense while WV still have hundreds of communities without usable water and no sewer systems etc This is 2025 NO Community should be without usable/drinkable water Now he will be a US Senator and will soon learn like Joe Manchin did ( who he is replacing ) , getting anything done in DC is nearly impossible , but that is after all Jim Justice's forte !!!
