I think the difference with Elgin, even though he killed no one, was that there was opportunity and time to save her (Fatima). All the others killed by Fatima and Sarah were killed and then people found out later. In this instance, unlike the others, there as time to save Fatima and Elgin was refusing to give answers...and if he didnt tell them the monsters could have easily come up those stairs and killed Fatima
I'm just putting this out there, but I think Eloise is still alive, and we've already seen her. I believe it was when Victor and Tabitha were in the tunnels, and they passed by a creature that was wide awake when all the others were sleeping. This creature even reached out and hissed at them. I think that was Eloise. When Victor was confronted by the Nurse creature in the tunnels, she didn't threaten to kill him, she threatened to make him stay. I think that's what happened to Eloise, who was really good at hiding. What if she hid in the tunnels and the creatures made her stay?
To add to the discussion about Elgin kidnapping Fatima….what could Boyd and the rest do to prevent the birth of Smiley 😃? It’s not like they could abort the demon baby or perform a c-section because they don’t have the equipment. If they gave a c-section then she would need a blood transfusion and she has no blood relatives there. When Elgin said no one has been hurt by what he was doing Boyd could’ve said Fatima murked Tillie, which could’ve affected how he felt about what he was doing. Boyd was manipulated into making a rash decision, thinking he had a chance to prevent something he was helpless to stop. Elgin, if alive, has a hand that can’t be fixed and an eye missing. Also, how was Sara “possessed”? Did she say that? I remember her saying the voice _told_ her to do something which she willingly did, the same as Elgin. Where is her broken bones and missing body parts? Lastly I think the discussion took an interesting turn by mentioning Elgin’s “Black” grandmother. Is him being a Black man getting him less sympathy and full condemnation from some on the panel? IDK, just asking. A lot of details to defend the torture and mutilation of Elgin were added that the show didn’t give like what kind of religious background he has. We have no idea.
I’ve been saying forever that they need to cut the damn trees down! I’ve been the only one to say this on several channels and I truly believe that’s what needs to be done. There’s hints towards my theory…..the fallen tree that signifies when they are now trapped, Kenny cut down a tree, Victor hacked at one, hope feeds the place and the kids have hope poured in the trees. The show uses lots of lore from many different cultures and in some lore cutting down trees has a symbolic meaning: “Cutting down trees can symbolize the destruction of nature, disruption of balance, or even the conquering of a powerful force associated with the forest. “ I found that on a Google search. Pay attention to the last line…..
Fatima said she couldn’t have children, could her defect in her womb be what the monsters need to be born. A dead womb for a dead entity. That’s why she craved spoiled vegetables
I think we found out who called the Mathew’s this episode that distracted Tabitha which led to Thomas falling and dying. I think it was actually Julie in one of her time walking experiences in and effort to save him like she told Ethan she wanted to do. Ultimately I think Julie is the whole reason Thomas died. Going back to season one she. The boy monster asked her is she recognized him who made another appearance this episode is true. He recognized her because they knew each other in the past before he became a monster. I’m also starting to believe Julie’s who time walking around might be the what started the whole town to begin with. Al the end will we find out the big bad was Julie all along?
Elgin was done wrong end of story I agree with father khatri too he even said it’s wrong. And also did anyone notice in season 1 ep 1 jade has the bracelet too Oh and I’m wonder if victor could be a monster but can surpress his urges to change bc why would they want to keep him down there
Enjoyed the discussion. we are assuming the monsters are the town people who sacrificed the children. I think the Man In Yellow is the first of the people who sacrificed their children along with Jade and Tabitha past selves. I like the idea of Season 4 going back to Day 1 of From town. I predict a school bus of kids show up in town next season. Who is going to want to sacrifice the kids to live forever?
Could it be possible that during the time Victor was growing up alone in Fromvillebthat he ended up cutting the tree that traps the people in town? Or someone other than Victor did it to begin a new cycle?
@ I also wondered the way Victor measures trees and can understand change, as he was growing up maybe the BIW showed him how to hide in the trees or use them to get around safely and then he began to forget as he became older, and that’s why he draws everything.
Some ppl just want to be right and don’t want to see others perspective. She wasn’t possessed at all. Also I feel like they’re all reincarnated from the past and their soul is going to carry out whatever they did in the past regardless if they want to or not.
😊😊😊 It’s not about being right, it’s okay to disagree. I’m stating the facts. Please rewatch the Toby scene in S1xE1. Sarah was talking to herself and strangely kissed Toby. Her body and mind was being tormented. Her voice and facial expressions are different. Elgin only had visions. Don’t overlook the Kimono woman “ASKED” for his help. Sarah & Fatima were never asked.
@@TVTheories I think they did ask. Working on a video about it. Sarah had multiple premeditated incidences that spanned days and had a choice. Just like Elgin did. However they both chose to follow through with the manipulation. That’s the great thing about a show like this.
Are we sure the talisman needs an enclosed space to work? Remember where Boyd found them, that wasn’t enclosed, but he was safe. Can yall discuss this type of stuff in other videos? Are yall watching Teacup?
Hmmm🤔 What if our characters, main actors; are the reincarnations of some of the other parents who sacrificed their children in the past...(?) That's why they get pulled back in FROM-Land, see the tree in the road etc...(?) Other than that, what would be the purpose of these specific people getting transmuted into this town... They all have to be connected to the town 1 way or another... 🤔

This is the only logical answer I have seen on the topic. I am including this in a video I am working on. Thank you.

He still didn’t deserve that.
@@jadakissable9yeah he did. He was standing on the wrong business.
The Cromonokle story from the Matthew’s family is important. It’s Ethan’s resource to give advice, which is a story read by Tabitha
Elgin chose to help the monsters when presented with the option of help the town
@@keairkemp6871 Sarah did too.
So they ask Sarah not to take someone out and she told them no?? Did Boyd ask Sarah like he asked Elgin?

The thing with from is we are watching this in reverse. So Julie writing the dates or flicking the light as a warning is definitely a factor
😮

I have one thing to comment on. Elgin committed premeditated murder because Smiley will be killing others in town in the future.
Do you think he knew he was helping with the production of a monster?
He said she told him everything
Fatima said she couldn’t have children, could her defect in her womb be what the monsters need to be born. A dead womb for a dead entity. That’s why she craved spoiled vegetables
@@sharonmack9837 Hmm if we were betting people I would bet she did not tell him Fatima was producing a monster. But that is interesting.

Im not understanding why she’s saying Sarah was possessed.. Sarah was manipulated not possessed.
We think the same thing she was manipulated like Elgin was. So they are essentially in the same boat of needing support. Elgin did not get that.
