I don't get a police pursuit over someone driving a stolen vehicle. It often ends up in a bad crash. So the stolen vehicle recovered is highly damaged or totaled. The owner doesn't want it back like that.
Soft on crime policy drove up crimes which led the pursuits, so the politicians that supported the policy need to be recalled including mayors, DAs and the judges.
So why is there so much crime in Florida?
