I'm sooo happy to say im already in geethams after learning for four months. I just hope to sing well so that my song can reach the feet of gurus, mahabhakthas, and paramathma. I will continue to learn with full passion and vigour without pride so that one day hopefully i'll be worthy to touch sri tyagaraja's lotus feet 🙏
@@ShreeS i had already learnt an instrument, so it was relatively easy for me to transfer some of the theory to vocals. I also have a great guru who clears any doubts I may have.
Nice way to put it! Investing sufficient time and effort is the only way. This timeline though is in itself a big barrier to entry for casual aspirants who just want to be able to sing something maintaining proper Sruthi, at home or at navarathri festival time. I feel I am stuck at month 1 even after 10 years since I first dreamed about learning to sing Carnatic music. 😂. Can’t seem to pull up the bootstraps and get going on this journey 😀
True, many aspirants are demotivated about the time it takes. But the interesting part is that if we start learning sincerely with the right efforts, we actually end up progressing faster 😊

^ same question you need months of practice to get the basics into muscle memory .. but if you’re honest then very good for you and congrats!
