They are wonderful amps. I had the S4 driving Meadowlark Kestrel ll's. It was a great match.

What a treat it is to find hidden gems in the audio industry. Specially now with the current pricing in audio.
I recently discovered Xavian speakers and couldn't be more happy.

And we both survived! I think Randy was worried he’d get sucked over the high-end event horizon…

I recently mentioned in another blog, how odd it is owning Roll$-Royce audio equipment versus the time ogling the finery, versus the time listening, and Listening, and finally: really
L I S T E N I N G, to understand, appreciate, and know just why one lavishes $4 to 13Million dollars on such an Old World art form of entertainment. And of course it goes without saying, people who [like] music enjoy Bose Wave clock radios. Folks who seriously love The Art Of Music, have dedicated soundstages of their own showcasing the technical brilliance of the planet’s Artisans. I find that if I’m in the company? (R O O M) of statement audio, cellular telephones, pagers, and beepers get, NOT ONLY SWITCHED-OFF, BUT STOWED AWAY IN VERY LOCKED DRAWERS, in ANOTHER ROOM. A hilarious, marked distinction from audio Trade Shows! Captivated, and Undivided Attention is exactly what $13Million Dollars get$! In my universe, such systems (Having their own dedicated grid access) would never be switched off. Operating whisper low at bedtime, and room-filling, to slightly near concert level in observance of peak transient composure for select guests.

And as nice as the Absolute 845 is, aesthetically, I’d isolate it in its own, locked, air-conditioned room, with a juicy pair of Volti’s in a main listening area. An instrument as breathtaking as the A845 would invite loads upon loads of jealousy which would cut my social circle possibly nearly 2/thirds. A sad, though realistic portrait.

Great idea! First get your senses ready to record and publish videos of it.

Really. Push high sensitivity speakers. Those looked like push pull kit-88 amps. Those will drive any cone speaker driver down as low as 86 db spl sensitivity. Solid state amps clip and blow speakers. Tube amps clip and nothing happens. The giant “headroom” is not needed like solid state amps. You should know that.
